Absolutely rubbish don't pay contracters have to phone and phone and phone, email after email to chase invoices. No one is ever responsible for anything and you just get story after story. Took me from Monday to Saturday to get in touch with one person they ensured me a call back but then claimed the wernt in the office even though another member of staff told me they were in that day. Actually told them never to contact me about work again.... Read more

Initial valuation and conversation seemed promising. Didn’t get the contract for ages as apparently the email bounced back but they never tried to get in touch any other way. Eventually signed and that’s where it went dead. Emails ignored, no communication and no interest or viewings. Went with another estate agent and got multiple viewings on the first day with much more communication and kindness. Wouldn’t recommend!... Read more

I would suggest to everyone never use lucas james, we moved into a flat that was damaged and moldy constantly, storage heaters and it was freezing every day. First moved in and the plumbing would not work for the washer took me 3 calls and 6 emails for them to finally send someone out and then got told its not the plumbing it's my washer, got a brand new washer for it to not work cause it was the plumbing my own dad had to come and sort it as they would not, water was coming in through a damaged roof and they got people out after weeks and weeks of telling them, then for them to tell us its the roof and for them to tell us its not the roof basically they would not repair nothing and do not reply to emails or calls, they then tried to keep my bond instead of returning it by saying we damaged the property, lucky i had taken images when we first move in to show these damages were there before we moved in.. then they stated i had to show them proof of paying the council tax bill 8 emails i sent about my money and no response, i then called them and told them i want there solicitors information because i am taken it further, she said she would send them over the next day i woke up and my bond was returned..... i would suggest if you want to start a family home with no stress DO NOT USE LUCAS JAMES!!!!! THIS IS THE KILLINGWORTH STORE, TERRIBLE WAY THEY SPEAK TO THERE CUSTOMER AS WELL... NEVER AGAIN... Read more
