We will be proceeding with a solicitor if we don’t get our money back asap - DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY. Utterly ignorant, unreliable and useless in all meaning of these words. We haven’t received over £3000 in deposit back since we moved out January 31st 2023 despite all the bills being paid and numerous communications stating that we have had an issue with Scottish power and that we are unable to get an account statement from them because they messed up but still having forwarded all the information that we could possible obtain including apology emails from Scottish power, account screenshots with 0 due and numerous emails with gas and electric readings that confirmed everything they needed to know. They showed no compassion and we were waiting for weeks for their response openly ignoring our emails and being absolutely disrespectful. We have waited for months to be able to sign an addendum while we were at the property and people HAD to move out before we signed an addendum for the 2 new tenants to move in costing us money and time as we had to pay £2790 a month for our rent despite of 2 people moving out and the agency wouldn’t do their job on time. They received a notice from our old flatmates in July and we only received an addendum in October after having paid £900 - referencing of £400 pp and £50 addendum administration fees per person. Not only have they charged us an immense amount of money for the referencing, they have been completely ignorant and very slow, demanding money for every each expense they invented. They cost us over £1000 for things that should be costing no more than £50 to do their job and they took months to finalise all the procedures that take no more than a week. We were paying £40 a month for general cleaning of the building and it was always dirty and trash was spread everywhere for weeks. Just one flat in a block of over 10 flats for a cleaner to come once in a while. That is over £400 but I’m sure they were getting more than that. Not to mention their constant inspections in our property, walking around in their shoes and being absolutely obnoxious with no shown respect showed us how unprofessional this agency is. We left the property sparkling clean and they still found problems with it to see if they can charge us more for the “cleaning”, “painting” and other none sense they invented to gain more money. Furthermore, they lied to us for a number of things including the broadband connections, contract clauses that they invented and those were not mentioned in the contract and initial setups available at the property that in the end cost us money and time to fix as we couldn’t get broadband connected on both of the levels of the apartment having 3 people working from home. Not to mention upon their visits they were telling us to wash the balconies and bossed around about the cleaning and other things that absolutely weren’t their right to say anything about as we are absolutely clean and tidy bunch of blokes that kept the apartment in a perfect state at all times. They also stalked our flat and sent us pictures of our bathroom rug hang on the balcony as “nothing was allowed” on the balconies asking us to remove it. We felt stalked and intimidated by their visits and communication at all times. Almost harassed us into giving them 5 stars reviews and at that point we felt very uncomfortable and had to give them the review as it seemed they wouldn’t leave us alone if we hadn’t. By all means it wasn’t earned by any of the good, mostly our experience at the property was bad. If they ask you to give them a 5 star review you should wait until you move out and get your money back and then give them an appropriate review ????... Read more
