Mishon Mackay Hove did not come across as professional. As a Vendor, I would advise against this office. Melanie arrived late to the 2nd viewing, and then rushed us out of the house. Despite the Vendor informing Mishon Mackay of issues in the house, they did not declare this information to the buyers. When conveyancers revealed this information, Oliver and his team refused to take responsibility and the Vendor was forced to take the hit - they simply wanted the sale and commission without the work. Once the offer was received, different people were being involved in the sale. The only 2 people that knew their roles and communicated with the vendor and buyer were Sue and Holly.

Oliver Spackman (and his colleagues) were excellent throughout the entire process.
I liked him immediately on his first visit to do a valuation.
He was honest, practical, helpful, proactive and is very experienced in the real estate business , so we felt we were in safe hands at all times.
He kept us updated regularly, carried out all of the instructions I requested to the letter, efficiently and professionally , but also with genuine consideration and care for us as people, not just as a business 'transaction'
I would highly recommend him, and his team, to anyone looking to sell, (or buy/rent) a property.

Rang up to ask for an extra internal measurement on a property (Aurum Hove) before travelling 6 hours to view it as I wanted to ensure the property was big enough. The lady I spoke to simply wasn’t interested, didn’t ask about my buying position or offer to help with my request. Such a shame as was really interested but the estate agent has completely put me off even trying again to attempt to get the information I needed prior to viewing.

I will have to warn anyone interested in purchasing BN Vista and purchasing any properties from them.
In May 2022, I have reserved to purchase a flat (BN Vista) in Hove.
Their plan was to finish building this block of flats in Q4 2022.
I had to rent a flat until I can move into this flat. It was so hard to find a tenancy for such a short term, no one would allow me to rent a room shorter than 6 months, also no one allows me to live with my cat in a rental flat or a room.
I ended up moving into a shared house. I had to take my cat to my ex husband's home until BN Vista was built and ready to move in.
Since June, I kept going back to see the construction site, and get disappointed by seeing nothing has been done. In July, they told me that there will be scafolding and this is on track for Q4 this year.
Nearly everyday, I went to see the site, and found no difference since May.
In September, once again I asked them when this building will be built. After 4 months living alone, missing my cat, I was exhausted.
They suddenly sent an email to tell me that this was postponed to July 2023.
Since I reseved and paid 2000 pounds for reservation fee, it was a heart breaking news, and since I miss my cat so much, and tired of living in a shared house, I decided to cancel this purchase.
If I didn't reserve BN Vista, I would have found another property and moved in by now. Now I have found another property to buy, and hoping to move into my new flat in December.
If I knew it was going to be in June next year, I would have lived in a rental flat, with my cat. Their communication was so disorganised, and in reality I am missing my cat so much, I am missing living in a entire flat. I am tired of living in a shared house.
They also didn't care about introducing alternative properties. One of them even called me to tell me the flat I made enquiry is not available, however the flat is still on Rightmove. Also they told me they don't have any property available I can afford. In their email they mentioned that they would introduce me alternative properties, however they haven't given me any alternatives. I can afford £240 and a lot of properties are under the price I can afford.
I will have to warn anyone interested in purchasing BN Vista and purchasing any properties from them. I am now really feeling unsettled. I this whole year i felt so , angry and unsettled. Please give me back time.

We recently sold our 2 bedroom flat through Mishon Mackay and the customer service was excellent. We were really impressed with Amy at the valuation and it was great to see that professionalism continue with the rest of the team (Tom, Sue, Abby and Steve) throughout the marketing, offer and sales progression stages.
Our sale fell through just a few weeks before we were ready to move (through no fault of them) and we had a weekend to find another buyer before the house we were buying went back on the market.
The team rallied together to get loads of viewings lined up, keeping us informed throughout and found a great buyer who was able to complete quickly.
Moving is a very stressful time but the team did all they could to make the process as painless as possible and we would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending to others.

They have been absolutely incompetent since the beginning. Any repairs and maintenance needed during our tenancy had to be communicated multiple times with some matters such as a window that would not close in the middle of the winter, taking 6 months to deal with. We had to keep in contact with the landlord even though they were managing agents so we can make sure that things were communicated properly. When we had viewings in our apartment after the second lockdown the agent was not even wearing a mask even though we had made a big deal about it. Every communication was a dreadful prelonged nightmare with constant delays, miscommunications and always ending up with the cheapest solution possible only for the same problems to arise again as they it was not dealt with professionally.

New touch screen display on the windows look good, however does not exactly fill me with confidence that they are taking customers safety very seriously. I understand they would want to limit the amount of customer enquiries in the office, but to have a touch screen display outside with NO ANTI BACTERIAL HAND GEL on offer is not in the best interest of the client. They should provide anti bac next to the screen and a sign to ask customers to anti bac their hands before and after use.

DO NOT PURCHASE NEW HOMES FROM MISHON MCKAY HOVE OR ENTER INTO ANY RESERVATION FEE AGREEMENTS. After misleading us over a new property which was being built 'car free' despite Mischon Mckay explicitly stating it had access to parking, they asked us to pay a £1,000 reservation fee. This is yet to be returned despite it coming to light the property was car-free over two weeks ago.

Landlord saw opportunity to squeeze as much out of us as possible to continue fleecing the next tenants no doubt. We’re out of renting for good thank goodness so will never have to endure that ever again.

I bought my flat using Mishon Mackay 7 years ago as a ‘new build’ although my type of building wasn’t classed as a proper new build so never had new build warranty. False promises and now £40k down due to the entire walls needing to be rebuilt. Work is still ongoing and could cost more. This company focuses more on ensuring they have a close relationship with the crook development companies selling off these places at a high premium when materials used were not up to standard! Thus making people live in properties which are not fit for purpose.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Bought a new build from abroad and firstly they forgot our appointment so I was left with the developer. They then sent a complete junior who could tell me nothing more about the property. They failed to cancel two appointments made with our surveyor for pre-completion snagging which incurred additional costs for us. Otherwise they were dishonest about the real situation regarding the property actually getting finished and the developer's financial issues. Almost two years down the line we are still having a nightmare trying to resolve various damage and snagging with the developer thanks to the lack of information. Not to be recommended.

Appalling customer service. Took time off work and left standing outside a property for 15 minutes only to call their office to be told the property had gone - and they had 'tried' to leave me a message. No one tries to leave a message - you either leave it or you don't. Also if you cannot get through to a customer you keep trying not leave them to contact you after you have wasted their time.
Would not recommend at all - with service like this letting agents deserve their well earned appalling reputations.

Mishon Mackay, Hove, have sold our house! Didn't take them long!
They presented a very fair valuation, which created a consistent stream of viewings. Their agents were courteous, professional and encouraging at all times.
Once we accepted an offer, Mishons had dedicated staff on hand to ensure a smooth process to exchange of contracts, which included liaising with both ourselves and the buyers, as well as the solicitors.
I recommend Mishon Mackay very highly and am delighted we have achieved a sale in such a short period of time.
