15th Apr 2024 (5 days ago)We rented through Q for a number of years. All problems were resolved by the Landlord. When we moved out they withheld our deposit for no reason and even when Deposit Protection found in our favour still kept items on the check out form. I ended up paying a fraction of what they demanded and should have had more back but they refused to take some items off even though they confirmed it was not my responsibilty. BEWARE

Relocating to Brighton can be quite stressful for me, especially when it comes to finding housing. Fortunately, Anya helped us find an ideal place for me and my daughter and guided us through the necessary steps. She was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend her services with a 5-star rating!
26th Mar 2024 (25 days ago)Not happy with the current slow service with the flat I'm trying to buy. I'll be withdrawing my other rental property which they're managing and I bought from fox and son due to the current slow service. Not happy!!! And no loyalty.

Their patience, wealth of information, and constant support eased what could have been a stressful process. Their professionalism, combined with their friendly manner, made working with them a pleasure. We are so grateful for their help and look forward to working with King and Chasemore again when it's time to sell. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were unlike any estate agents we've used in the past.

5th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)We've just come through the most protracted and stressful conveyancing process we've ever had to endure, where everything seemed to work against us. But, in terms of estate agent support it was the best we've ever had from the team, including Demi and Richard. Chris's communication style was second to none, with quick responses to emails and plenty of phone calls to keep the process moving - he was absolutely 'on it' with every twist and turn that we encountered. I honestly don't think it was would have got over the line without him holding all of the parties together!
22nd Mar 2024 (29 days ago)We appointed Knight and Knoxley following a review of 3 local Brighton agents to act in a Probate sale of the home of our much-loved relative. Tom Foote was outstanding in working with us, and it was as much his thoughtful personal style which gave us so much confidence as well as his professionalism. He understood the sentimental side of our house sale, and almost seems to have matched the buyers to us! He also had great engagement with the first-time buyers. On a practical level, the team led by Tom marketed the property really effectively, kept us updated on all key milestones, handled all visits - and worked at a real pace to complete the sale to a very tight deadline. The team of Tom, Luke and Ryan were all excellent and we would highly recommend Knight&Knoxley.

10th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)Lextons was the agent representing the vendors from which we've purchased our current home. Despite Lextons representing the Vendors our interactions with Josh and Tara were always met with professionalism and fairness. They both persevered throughout the process to ensure a positive outcome for their clients and ourselves as the buyers. Throughout the process they were both effective communicators and resilient with challenges which they worked towards overcoming. We would consider using Lextons as our agents should we be looking to sell our current property in the future. Thanks Josh and Tara.
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From each step of the sale they were faultless with their communication (via email & telephone calls), it's very rare these days to experience this level of customer service. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Cox & Co......great advice throughout, easy to talk to, professional estate agents who know their customers requirements. Five star!!!!! Thanks Gemma

Consistently keeping me up to date, and going above and beyond their role to get my sale over the line, in particular Alex Powrie, who always made himself available for any question I had. Highly recommend.
27th Mar 2024 (24 days ago)Eightfold is poorly run, with a lack of honesty, integrity and an incredible lack of any concern and respect for their tenants. Eightfold represent all the worst traits of lettings agents. I'm amazed this company get any good reviews at all. Not surprising that most of the good reviews are from landlords and ALL the bad ones from tenants. If you are a tenant, my advice would be to steer well clear of this revolting company if at all possible.

His communication was great, responding promptly to all our questions and kept us informed at every step of the way. He also personally reached out to congratulate us when our offer was accepted, which was a lovely touch. There was a genuine dedication and professionalism throughout the whole experience which made it seamless and enjoyable. Exceptional service and genuine care for clients!
