I only write reviews if a service warrants special merit. Moores Estate Agents have recently sold our 3-bed house in Leeds for £115k in November 2018. I write here because Moores provided us with an especially friendly, effective and pleasant experience in much contrast to other estate agents we have used.
This reference comes from a man in his fifties brought up to value truthfulness, friendliness, professionalism and integrity. These qualities were all strongly supported in our interactions with Moores. We had the pleasure of working with Rachel Abbott who was superb. We also had some dealings with Michael Moore who was always flying around busy but always extremely helpful, took time to answer queries and wrote incredibly detailed emails providing the necessary and also highly professional level of astuteness regarding our particular property info and advice for its selling.
Moores were thorough, efficient, extremely knowledgeable and most of all consistent and reliable in all these aspects. i.e. over the WHOLE process and duration of their support and service. We experienced a high level of customer focus and it felt we were valued as customers, as people.
If all this sounds too much, I am not related to any of Moores staff, nor have any vested interest in their company. I do have a vested interest in providing a comprehensive and accurate testimonial because potential customers need to be directed where they will be properly looked after in the housing market.
Moores actually conveyanced our property more effectively than a notable Leeds competitor. AP.L. who we used previous to Moores. In contrast to MOORES we felt let down, depersonalised and things were much more inefficient with APL. In truth, we felt let down there in all the areas Moores excelled. Moores service was a completely different experience in every way. In terms of our overall customer experience as well as sale price/valuation Moores are to be highly recommended.

I stayed in a apartment for 3 yrs managed by them. They are very responsive and have highly professional staff. Always provided prompt and high class service. Highly recommended. My move in and out both very also very smooth. Thanks to Office Manager Angie for maintaining high standards

I have rented a house via Moores estate agents few days back. From viewing, agreement negotiating, till getting the house keys, i have found them very professional. Christine was extremely helpful, as being a great human being she was a step ahead of getting the things materialised for my family to get a new home on time. I will highly recommend Moores for anything regarding letting and sale/purchase of property. Thanks

We rented with Moore's for two years and always had support and speedy response if ever there was an issue. The property was lovely and Moore's always ensured we were updated if an inspection or viewing was happening. Really great service after many years of not having great estate agents they made a massive difference. Thank you!

I have been using Moores, and specifically Karl for a number of years now and have always had a positive experience with my property being let easily and quickly. Everyone I speak to at their office is on the ball and as a team they offer great communication and support. I wish all my other experiences with estate agents were as good as this!

Angie and the team are on it. We were first time landlords and Angie walked us through all the steps helpfully. We got helpful updates about little works that needed doing (broken shower unit, new light switch etc) and they sorted it all out for us.
More expensive than others for sure but if you want a premium service, I'd recommend them.

Avoid. Rented a property for 18 months. All was fine until we found a property we wanted to buy and needed to leave our tenancy early. It felt as though we were immediately treated like a cash cow. Everything had a fee and admin time attached to it and we were accused of not leaving the property in a clean state, with photos provided showing a pencil on the floor, a radiator key in a drawer and a blank wall which (apparently) had cobwebs on it. The property was left cleaner than when we moved into it. Moores are happy to keep £144 of our deposit and have invited us to contest it with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (without giving any substantive information on how to do so, other than what they provided to us when we moved in 2 years ago). If it means we no longer have to deal with them, they can keep the £144.

I rented with Moores for three years and they were brilliant for the whole process, from signing contracts to returning my deposit in full and promptly with no issue. Angie was fantastic throughout - a real asset to the team. A great family-run company, I can't recommend enough.

I made an appointment to view the house ,the last minute the agent called and said it's cancel and the agent not bother to arrange the viewing again ,the agent keep asking me they want to sell my house, is it because I don't have house for them to sell, they don't arrange an appointment for me to view the house ,this Estate agent is so cheeky I will not let them to sell my house, this is called cheeky Estate Agent.
