I was dealing with Harry Lovell at MR based in Canary Wharf. Throughout the search for a potential tenant he remained energetic, focussed, professional and committed to finding me a tenant. In the end I went with someone not via Harry, but when I told him the (bad) news he accepted it with professionalism not always seen in other agents I have dealt with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Harry.

I was really happy with my initial point of contact, Matthew. He was really helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that everything for us was in order.
Now that I am a tenant being dealt with by their customer support team I have been very disappointed. Gene has been nothing but rude and unhelpful with every inquiry made. He makes sure to include in every email "as I have explained" and "as I have already informed you" but doesn't care to listen to what I am actually saying or be helpful in any way. After months of back and forth it turns out that he was able to help on his end and the whole issue was settled.

They found me the worst tenants who ruined my flat and didn’t vacate after the tenancy finished and Morgan Randall still demanding fees when they over stayed and didn’t pay rent! They forced me take take these tenants as they knew what they are like so they can get there fees. Would never use them again and there are many agents who charge less and take responsibility for there mistakes!

Avoid!! You don't want to work for a company that treats their staff like it does and as a result I personally wouldn't want to buy/sell through them either. The sales pressure put upon staff is enormous - it made my husband anxious and stressed most of the time. He wasn't even allowed to take any paternity leave when our son was born. When he left after a year of sticking it out, they charge him every conceivable fine possible despite him turning the sales around exponentially in his office.

By far the worst customer service that I’ve ever come across. We have lived in the property for almost 2 weeks now and still have not received the correct keys. They gave us one of keys and told us we had to get more cut because we moved in late! What is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! After complaining there eventually gave us another set but then the lobby key did not work! I was informed by the landlord that she had told them that they had to get the lobby key done by a specialist key cutter, they obviously didn’t listen to a word of that. We currently still do not have keys when I messaged them about it, I was told I had to return the keys because they were a lot of money! You can understand why it’s the worst customer service I have ever come across. They did not apologise for giving us the wrong set of keys they have not said that they are going to get more cut even though it is in the contract. The complete absurdity of this whole situation irritates the hell out of me! That I can’t even get into the property that I’m paying for.
But there is more! When we moved into the property of the hot water wasn’t working! It is still not working we have to get a new boiler! They said they checked it a couple days before we move in but the way the company is managed I very much doubt they did. We also have problems with the furniture that is unusable! The table in the living room is completely wonky the chairs scrape against the wooden floor, so at the minute I’m eating my dinner on the sofa. Until my order comes through on Amazon because God knows they are not going to get any new ones. Our double bed in our room has got wheels so every time we get on it I feel like I’m dancing on ice! The shower head is completely screwed! The doors to balcony do not open!
I could probably go on for days! Yeah so a long story short you are probably best off not using this company. Save yourself the stress and knew someone else I wish I did.

Do not use, con artists! tried to make me accept tenants to move into my property that failed references and if I don't allow them to move in they will still charge me full fee for the tenancy term and take me to court!! they put gun to head to sign docs that done make sense and out to make a quick buck and don't care for there landlords!!!!

I have had the joy of dealing with the estate agents in and around Clapham/Wandsworth Since 1987.The Overall experience has been some what varied over the past 30 years, since there were very few agents who represented the Northcott Road /Battersea rise investments made by those that chose to stay in I don’t know to the country once they had decided to have a family. Of course the pure nature of discovering properties or the changing trends was very much something that you got in “the value added” comments from the well-seasoned agents. This was of course very selective and not available to those starting out in the cheap seats. Therefore the use of databases are putting me in possession of information that as clients we expect the agent be fully up to speed on !! Therefore the required skill set is somewhat different.
I have never heard of Morgan Randall until four weeks ago while a change in my family situation makes that I needed to find a flat to rent but with all the expectations of someone who owns a seven bedroom house not far away in Wandsworth. I contacted through both rightmove & Zoopla three other agents including your team in Balham. Katherine was on the phone as soon as the dawn had broken, with not only the information I requested but also other ideas. I am more than aware of the ability to make a hash of cold calls having been in equities in the city for some 30 years. For me the most important point but I would like to make is that when she could not answer my question there was no “blagg”, she referred over to Matt in a seamless and easy manner. I’m sure you will not be surprised that some of the other agents, more common to the area well utterly shocking in their response. In one case there were four properties I suggested, when after midday I had a call the agent couldn’t even find my name let alone the properties I was interested in. After he had finished having a chat with his mate about the coffee he would like, I suggested that try selling rather than being totally arrogant. I have been extremely impressed by the efficiency and the smaller things that people may miss sometimes, in a team who are yet to sprout grey hair !

Unfortunately I cannot give "zero" stars. I'll tell you my experience. At noon, I talked with an agent from the Canary Wharf branch and scheduled two viewings at 4pm. After a few minutes I got a confirmation email. We met at 4pm and she took me to 3 flats, none was what I had originally requested. By the end of the viewings, I asked about the two flats that we had agreed on viewing on the phone. She told me that they were not available anymore! Surprise surprise, these flats were about 20% more expensive than the ones I was expecting to see! There are different ways of doing business but this is not the way I do. Honestly, it's kind of comic such attitude but I know it works with a couple of customers... I feel sorry for the company because in such a dynamic rental market, one doesn't need to behave like this. I'll not say I wasted my time because I got a free espresso at their branch....

Nice place, good coffee. Strangely empty most of the time. Also no Wi-fi, but I shouldn't blame Morgan Randall for my exuberant consuming of HD Youtube videos on data.
Finn, our expert negotiator, was the most thorough of all the agents we saw in Angel, of which there are many. He came up with an extensive list of properties that closely matched our needs following a sitdown.
We unfortunately ended up shifting too far East for our liking and didn't end up finding a place. Finn noted that the crackheads outside added to the ambiance but it was not to be. Would defininately use them again.

I was looking for a 2/3 bedroom property and Anthony Norton at Morgan Randall was absolutely excellent in assisting us. He was friendly, professional and gave us a fantastic service. He would always follow up with a call or an email. Initially, he asked us some questions, sent through some properties straight away, accommodated our viewings times, and drove us to various locations. He also provided an easy-to-read leaflet about each property, which was really useful. Although we did not find a property through Morgan Randall in the end (as we found a place through a different estate agent)- I would definitely recommend!

I have recently been dealing with the Balham branch in regards to letting a property. Matthew Mould has been helping me through every step of the process and i cannot fault his professionalism and his willing to help approach to this. I would utterly advise Morgan Randall to people wishing to rent or buy, purely on the fact that Matthew has made this process so easy and hasn't, as so many people and tend to do within this industry, tried to lace me with sales pitches and corporate jargon. Instead he has been honest, sincere and treated me as a person not a potential commission pot. Happy with the agents I have interacted with from Morgan Randall, as they had an ideal customer care on the personal level. As far as their agency fees are concerned they're rather an overrated, overpriced agency for doing something every other agency is supposedly doing. Nothing extra magical with them except more money to pay. I would rather conclude by saying I have met a couple of good people from the agency, but that wouldn't make their agency any less rediculously expensive.

Overall, the process of viewing, choosing and securing a flat to rent with Morgan Randall has been positive. Matt Mould in particular is enthusiastic, straightforward and efficient in his approach: it was good to be spared the usual marketing speak and bureaucratic questions nonsense, and instead move swiftly to viewing the particular flats which were of interest. Matt then moved quickly through the deposit and offer process, clearly communicating what was required at each time.
A couple of areas for consideration/improvement. Firstly, communication from Matt's colleagues could have been better in terms of likely timescales for credit checks and review of references would be completed (to help relieve some of the anxiety associated with the stress of finding somewhere new to live). Secondly, the fees are high, and this in particular means a lost star or two.

When my partner and I were searching for a flat to rent, we went spoke to several local estate agents. Morgan Randall - in particular Matthew Mould - were very attentive and listened to our criteria and found several houses that met this criteria. There were no hard sales and the agent was very helpful and understanding. Furthermore, communication was regular, but not excessive throughout the process.
I would recommend this agent again as they are very understanding and attentive to the client's needs.

We were helped by Luke Evemy in the lettings team who was lovely to deal with and was not pushy at all - so refreshing compared to some estate agents who send you through any old rubbish. Luke really listened to our criteria and only informed us of suitable properties. He was friendly, always prepared for viewings and gave us plenty of notice if there was a problem. I would also recommend Morgan Randall generally. We had a really good experience with them compared to KFH who seem to pass your details on to every office in the local vicinity until you're bombarded with calls from 10 different people a day sending you things that don't even fit your criteria!!

Though many items were not accounted for in first inventory check including CCTV Cameras and Flood Lights insisting on not changing date of checking to the later date and on failing to see odd spot of dust in drawers in first inventory to accept that as an error and not arguing needs professional cleaning will prove trustworthiness on the firm.Police spotted criminal damage to one of the CCTV cameras. Through Landlord requested Morgan Randall to get tenants to call 101 or 999 but no official letter with copy to Landlord seen yet.When Criminal Damage to one of the cameras though informed to Morgan Randall an action as requested by the Police would be appreciated by Mertopolitant Police.

Really great experience with Morgan Randall. Luke Evemy was excellent at securing our first rental property, he wasn't pushy at all and gave us time to go over our options whilst viewing the flat.
Since putting our offer in, he's been great with our many questions and continuously updating us on the progress.
Luke is really genuine and relatable, which was amazing after dealing with some very sales-focuses estate agents, Luke provided us with realistic and honest advice, which we really appreciated!

Luke Evemy has been an excellent help in what has been a disastrous house hunt in London for us. Morgan Randall are not pushy, they definitely tell you the truth about where the properties are located and what the rooms are like before you go view proeprties. Antony was open and honest from the moment he came to see us at the flat. He told us he would try his hardest to get the best price. I recently rented a property through Morgan Randall and found the vast majority of the process very positive. Paige was our main contact and from the beginning, she always seemed to go out of her way to help us, arranging for us to get access to the property for measurements once we had secured it and answering emails promptly. She is very personable and a pleasure to speak to. Unfortunately, there were a few frustrating aspects of the move. Most significantly, that we were told on several occasions that a check in and inventory had been done on the property before we'd been given keys. On moving into the property, we found a door handle had completely come off one of the doors, paint was peeling off the walls in several areas due to a lack of ventilation and the loo roll holder was hanging off. I sent photographs to Paige who, as the property isn't managed by Morgan Randall, wasn't able to help. I found this disappointing as I would consider these to be things that should have been addressed before allowing new tenants in. She did connect me with Caroline, in Morgan Randall's Client Services department, who didn't respond to my email, but passed on a message via. Paige that they couldn't help either. The landlord was abroad and so we had to wait several days for a response. It has since transpired that there never was a check in and inventory done, or a check out for the last tenants, despite the fact that this was discussed several times. I must stress that Paige was genuinely lovely throughout and I think most of the issues were due to an unfortunate set of circumstances but, regardless, the process wasn't as smooth and transparent as it might have been.

Letting the property initially was great, with Garry Bullock being particularly very helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately this positive feeling towards Morgan Randall was not to last.
Myself and a flatmate were hit with extortionate hidden fees on vacating the property, have had a nightmare trying to speak to the 'Client Services' department and have generally been treated very poorly. Once Morgan Randall had secured their letting fee, it seemed they were only interested in charging as much as possible for doing as little as possible.
Having left the property over a month ago, we are still battling to get our deposit and overpaid rent back; This was despite the property being left in a perfect condition and the property being moved into by another tenant the day after moving out.
The property was at one point double let, with Morgan Randall having had a new tenant sign a lease before having our lease released by the landlady. Furthermore, we were not invited to the check-out which was carried out AFTER the new tenant's tenancy began; the check-out somehow cost £260 + VAT, which again seems extortionate.
In summary, a complete lack of transparency when it comes to fees and impossible to speak to anyone with any authority. Any queries were passed between departments with nobody seemingly willing or able to take responsibility.
A truly awful experience all round, with Morgan Randall doing nothing to dispel the belief that Estate Agents are just out to fleece people for as much money as possible, whilst offering little to no service.

Moving down from the North to London - especially over Christmas - can be extremely challenging, but Morgan Randall specifically Garry Bullock, was really helpful.
He kept in contact with us regularly and really understood the type of property we were looking for. After our viewing MR were able to sort out everything online including signing our tenancy agreement. The Christmas offer of no admins fees also saved us money and is a really good idea.
We were able to move into our property with very short notice, unfortunately that meant that the house wasn't as clean as I'd have expected MR standards to be. We have also had some plumbing issues, which Garry and the property management team have worked with us through, but again resolving the problem has been much slower than it should have been. Overall we are pleased with our two bed flat and thank MR and Garry.

Challon Smith is an anomaly to the somewhat and unfortunate rude, pushy and manipulative estate agents that have now become the norm. Speaking to Challon is similar to meeting someone in a pub/bar, to first get to know one and other you begin with small talk; this made for a pleasant experience in contrast to the normal "check in, check out" approach I have now come to expect. Using this information Challon is able to locate properties suited to you. The main and most important quality Challon possesses is his interaction with his clients for example, he doesn't push or manipulate you into taking something that isn't suitable or out of your price range, while he may ask, if you say no, that conversation ends there.
Using Challon as a bases I would recommend using Morgan Randell.

I have been viewing properties with Stuart Rawlinson at the Balham branch for the past 3 months.
The branch in general have been great to work with but Stuart in particular has been a stand out agent. He has extensive knowledge of the local market, has shown me some great deals, but best of all, has a relaxed and non-pushy character and doesn't fit in to the stereotypical agent category!
I'm looking forward to working with Stuart and the team for years to come.

Gavin Gravenzande who was our estate agent was very friendly and always available to help us with any queries and he returned responses quite quickly.
Areas for improvement were not always having all the detail and being fully aware what is and isnt included in the flat.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a property in and around the Oval area, and got in touch with Challon. He was very quick to respond to our e-mails and calls, flexible on viewing times (multiple viewings, different times), and most importantly, very personable and friendly.
He quickly understood and appreciated the position we were in as a tenant, and gave good advice on what to do. He was also very knowledgeable about the property and quick to answer any questions that we had.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Challon as an estate agent to go with. He will advise you honestly and will help you make the best informed decision that you can.

I found this estate agency to care a load more than some of the other vultures out there.
Not that I have anything against estate agents in general, but from my recent dealings over the last 4 weeks with many different companies and individual agents, there are many different styles of selling, most of which very much make you feel like a 'number' and a few collective pieces of data for processing in the mass chaos that is lettings in London!
Challon in particular stood out for me as he actually listened to what I was after and really suited properties to my needs, (sounds simple but you won't believe the amount of crap places I had to view with other agent, probably just so they hit they viewings per day targets).
Very friendly and informative, picked me up from the station and dropped me back off also which was a nice touch. bumped into one of his colleagues when exiting the property also and he seemed nice also, I got the feeling in general that is was a good company to work with.

Garry and Morgan Randall were brilliant. My partner and I were on a one month notice period and when it was activated we were obviously worried we wouldn't find somewhere in time. We approached MR and Garry made contact with us. He could appreciate our situation and was extremely fast finding us properties to look at that were not only in the area we wanted but were our exact specifications. Luckily, the first property we looked at was perfect and we were able to put an offer in. Garry talked us through the entire process and was even available by email and text outside of working hours to answer any questions we had. We went and saw a lovely little 2 bed flat in Pan Peninsular not long ago and we all wanted to express that Richard was utterly fantastic. His odd sense of humour, knowledge and frank opinions made the entire trip a pleasure (I had to drag my girlfriend away!). We loved the facilities - a pool, a gym and a bar no less! Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we are now looking in areas that are less financially demanding but we will be sure to contact Richard should we need a consummate property professional for that area.

Stuart was brilliant. I contacted over ten agents and listening was something they did not all do. Many of them just talk at you, wanting a quick easy sale. It is a very stressful process and you end up dropping agents mid-way through as they just call and call but with nothing remotely like what you want. time is precious and Stuart listened carefully. Followed up diligently with calls but not in excess. He also talked about properties I really wanted and knew all the facts about buying - you'd be amazed how many agents do not know the basics! He coordinates well with his lettings department who were also efficient and informative. Didn't waste my time. He has a friendly, approachable, educated and non-aggressive demeanour. His approach was reactive to what we were saying, quick and efficient as oppose to just throwing information at you and hope it sticks. Stuart found us exactly what we were looking for, down to the exact building. Well recommended by us... We look forward to doing business with him in future. regards.

Recently we had cause to leave our property and Morgan Randall were the agents handling the letting. Our contact was through Gary Bullock who deserves 5 stars and during nearly three months of association, and despite many delays, he maintained a professional approach to our difficulties in needing to leave the property before the end of the tenancy. My only gripe was that because I gave my 2-months notice one day late I was held to a 3months termination period, not overly customer focused and being quoted the rules by the representative did not help.

I needed to find a short let flat in the Balham area on an urgent basis, and contacted Morgan Randall to assist me in this regard.
I was put through to Sarah Irvine who proved to be exceptionally helpful and personable. Given the tight time frame (I needed to move in within a matter of days), Sarah went out of her way to assist me and even put in extra hours to get everything completed on time.
In the end, I was able to move into the flat on time, despite the large amount of paperwork and administration that needed to be completed beforehand - this would not have been possible had Sarah not been so willing to help. I was also very happy with the location, condition and quality of the flat.
As a first time customer of Morgan Randall, I was extremely impressed with the level of service provided, and would definitely highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, helpful friendly agency.

High administration costs, strange offer procedures (taking the holding deposit before the landlord has even received an offer) and a lack of clarity throughout the offer process. The company has the typical estate agent appearance but with not a lot to back it up once you get underway with them. I do not see this is a reflection on the particular member of staff we were speaking to, as I think the system he was working with was his downfall.

While peering through the window of Morgan Randall, Ross spotted us and our desperation-riddled faces, already jaded with our property search. He invited us in, asking if we were looking for a property to rent and, once inside, lifted our spirits, giving us a renewed energy for the hunt and lots of examples of what he had to offer in the area we were looking. Unlike other agents, he listened to what we actually needed and took time and energy to show us some really gorgeous properties, including negotiating with the landlords to achieve a let within our measly budget. Myself and 3 friends were extremely impressed after having recently signed for a house using the simply fantastic Morgan Randall Estate Agents rental service.
We were assigned to Ross who from the very first introduction added a touch of personality and charisma to an already great service. Ross listened to our requirements, likes and dislikes, took them on board and brought us to a house viewing in Balham. He had clearly listened to our requirements and was very transparent about the property.
We viewed a few other houses with various other agents after but the viewings just didn’t match up to our requirements either through price or size. Ross made himself available by phone, email or in person for any queries we had.
I would highly recommend Morgan Randall and especially Ross for making a complex process very simple with no hidden surprises.
