We sold and bought through Alexander James and had an excellent experience with them. All the staff were on the ball throughout and Jack found us the perfect house which we are now in and loving. Throughout the process they were active and really got things going even when it was a difficult sale and purchase - one thing I will say is not to use the recommended solicitors. I would not recommend Lancashire Law at all but Alexander James - definitely
This is the worse agent av ever dealt with,I rented a house from their heywood branch and after payment was made they refuse to fix anything, av called many times asking to speak to the manager they will promise to get back to me but they never will, thk God I only signed a 6mths contract, moving out in January, they are horrible, I regret ever dealing with them.plz stay clear of these bastards, blood sucking demons.

Absolutely poor service from top to bottom. I rented from them and when I left. they put a claim on my deposit even after the checkout inventory did not highlighted any issues. It took them almost a month to make up their mind on what claims to put through DPS.
I got all my deposit back after my case was referred to ADR almost 3 months after my tenancy ended. I am thinking this kind of practice would put a lot of strain on family’s who’s deposit they claim upon and surely anyone in need of money would give in to greedy agents making false claims.
I rented from many agent never faced any problem like this.
I can surely say with regards Gascoigne and Halman. Don’t rent from them and if you do make sure checkin inventory is thoroughly checked and do necessary amendment within 7 days ( Gascogne Halman says amendments should reach them within 48hrs).
And lastly Msg for Rebecca where is duty of care towards your tenants and looking after their interests, tenants are your customers and if they don’t rent from you, your wage will not be paid, unless you have get commission or bonus to successfully claim from deposits.
Great service from the start of the process. Helped me find a few businesses to look at. Not purchased a business due to changes in circumstances but very helpful and knowledgeable staff. If you need advice on buying a business, speak to these guys.
Was just told on the phone, that they were out of my league! Then he hung up, all because I questioned the 5% selling fee. However, after the company reading the review, they called me up and apologised. Well done! Apology accepted!
