An exceptional service from start to finish. Their expertise in how to market our property from Andrew their manager enabled us to get higher than asking price and a sale agreed within weeks of going on the market.
The support provided during the sale from all staff was first class with a special mention for Lucy in the Wilmslow office who took ALL the stress and hassle out and made it actually a pleasure to go through the sale with them.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Rushed around the property didn't even see the whole house, not left to wander. Agent - Sofia clearly lacking any enthusiasm and seemed annoyed to have to show us around, told us not to take photos on several occasions. We ended up offering as we loved the house, only to be met with a brick wall. Sent an agreement in principle plus mortgage adviser emailed numerous times and called office to explain how I was funding, also being in a position to close in 3 weeks. Still blocked by estate agents. complete lack of knowledge on different avenues to fund a property. Sofia even went as far as to ask me if I could afford the method in which I was funding the property and if I knew how much stamp duty is, spoke to me in such a condescending manner, so far stuck up her own **@.... don't know since when estate agents became financial advisor's, called to complain only to receive excuses about Sofia's behaviour from Manager Lucy.
I do think I know how much I can afford having bought properties previously!! Everyone I told were shocked how unprofessional Savills were, and then it all came to light when she called to say someone who couldn't get the property previously had miraculously sold their property and their previous offer was accepted over a weekend! What a joke, clearly corrupt, delaying my offer so this person could get it. Absolutely humiliating and stressful experience needless to say I would never use Savills Wilmslow again even if they had the most beautiful house. Never had this issue from hundreds of agents I have dealt with over the years. So so unprofessional!!

Big thanks to the very efficient team at Savills Wilmslow. Found our beautiful home with them back in September and considering we were in a chained position, we were able to complete and move in by the end of January, right before going away on holiday.
This was a major relief for us as it meant we were able to go away completely stress free from a pending move and were able to toast several times, throughly enjoying the holiday!
Don't think it could have happened that way if it wasn't for the promptness and efficiency of the team, especially from Tamar.

Our experience has been extremely positive with the Team at Savills Wilmslow. In particular Sofia, who recently handled both our purchase of a new property and the sale of our old home, with the utmost professionalism.
The sale and purchase went through in record time approx 7 weeks ! We can’t fault the overall service we have received, they made the whole process as easy as possible from start to finish.
Photography is beautiful and really stands out against their competitors, although the fee is higher than other local agents, please don’t let that deter you, you absolutely get what you pay for, worth every penny ! Selling and buying a home is one of the most stressful things you will ever do, the process needs to be made as easy as possible and Sofia and the Team at Wilmslow did just that.

At the time the market was not in great position and it actually required people to spend time and effort in marketing and selling my properties. Savills really do ‘sell’ your property; they go above and beyond and will answer calls and emails whether it be daytime, evening or weekends, and they always have time to listen The team are all highly experienced and knowledgeable, they’re always polite and courteous and leave no stone unturned and nothing to chance. Having previously had our property with another local agent for 4 months and receiving no offers we took it off the market for 6 weeks and relisted it with Savills in Wilmslow in January. Although Savills were more expensive that the other agents we spoke to I feel this was more than worth it in terms of service, professional photo's, listing and all their sales staff familiarising themselves with our house.
Within a few days of our 1st viewing we had 2 offers and sold above the asking price. All in all from listing with Savills completing and moving into our new home in just 14 weeks.
Not only have they been great with the sale but they have also been great with communication and liaising with solicitors to make sure everything went through.

Estate agents don't have the best rep (sorry folks), but I enjoyed our experience as buyers when working with Savills in Wilmslow.
The agent (now retired) who showed us around the house was professional and knew the property well - which sounds basic, but often isn't the case. She'd arrived well in advance to make sure everything was "set", etc.
Post offer acceptance, we worked with Sofia, who was responsive on phone/text to questions and helped chivvy along the conveyancing solicitors.... and boy do they have some chasing. She also acted as a quick way to get questions answered by the sellers.
It was an easy + friendly relationship.
Overall, a positive experience and I'd work with Savills again - although I hopefully won't sell our new house for a while, ;-)

Where to start?
Our house was in some ways unique both in location and given the fact that there is going to be a village built behind what at the time of sale were open fields.
From our first meeting with Andrew Thorpe there was no doubt in our mind that Savills were the estate agents to present our house to market! His realistic valuation and common sense approach to marketing our property put him and his team leagues ahead of the competition. Yes, they are more expensive but that investment was returned many times over!
The final sale of the house was tricky due to a legal issue but this is where one of Andrew's team, Sofia Da Silva, really stepped up to the plate and worked tirelessly to see the sale reach a succesful conclusion.
All my wife and I can say is "a big thank-you" and with out reservation recommend Savills of Wilmslow to anyone thinking of bringing their house to market.

We approached them initially because of their national coverage expecting they are well accustomed to handling higher value sales and also capturing enquirers from outside the area. I cannot stress enough the difference it makes working with an agent who has a reputation in the £sector of the market versus a more regional agent who may cover a more indiscriminate cross section of £local property. Having used numerous agents over the years, the professionalism and coverage that Savills Wilmslow provided is far and away superior to any of the regionally based or other national agents that we have dealt with to date. The thoroughness of prep for the marketing material with the professional photography and brochure ware; the way they seem to qualify and interact with the seller and also prospects is utterly professional and strikes the right balance between responsiveness and pro activity - without being either complacent or pushy. We cannot recommend them highly enough and would be the first agent we approach in future.

We have just sold the home we have loved for over 16 years through Savills Wimslow and can’t praise the professionalism of the whole team enough, especially Andrew Thorpe and Jean Pilkington whose expert knowledge, genuine warmth and personal commitment to finding us the ‘right' buyers has turned a stressful turning point in our lives into a positive experience.
Selling our converted barn in the Peak District National Park was a nut too tough to crack for other agents as it was a difficult property to value. Over the last twelve months we used two other local agents but the promised stream of viewers never materialised.
Andrew’s valuation for our rural location was carefully researched and spot on. The professional marketing materials included drone shots which accurately portrayed our home in its stunning setting. Savills generated half a dozen qualified leads immediately from their data base and through targeted promotion. We had four offers around the marketing price on the table in a month, as promised. Most importantly to us we found the 'right' people to make our home theirs. We achieved our asking price but didn’t accept the highest offer, nor was there any pressure from Savills to do so.
Savills were open, transparent and honest in their dealings with us and prospective purchasers. They were efficient and clear in all communications. The whole office worked as a team. We had every confidence Savills would sell our home and that the offer we accepted would go through to exchange/completion.
We have bought and sold many houses over the years but none we have loved as much as this one. Savills have been the best agents we have ever used. It goes without saying we have no hesitation in recommending them.
