The first buyer backed out and Anthony Leach was extremely professional and helpful to do everything to get us another buyer and also to coax the deal to completion as quickly as possible. Jordan & Halstead lied about "damage" to a property when I moved out, citing an "iron mark" in the hallway that was there when I moved in and was clearly listed and visible in the itinerary photos. I lived there for 3 years with a huge and ugly penetrating damp issue with nothing being done about it but when I move out I'm expected to pay for pre-existing damage to the carpet? It's now been a year and no further reply on the Deposit Protection Scheme. Which means I either eat the loss or get a solicitor involved as the DPS doesn't actually do the job it says on the tin and won't progress any further without a solicitor or magistrate signing some document for me. Estate agents and landlords aren't in my good books at the best of times but I would steer clear of these crooks! Happy to make money for themselves and their clients off tenants while not really giving a a hoot about the tenants themselves.

I've had a great experience so far with Jordan & Halstead specifically Sophie who I liased with before my viewing, showed me round the apartment and assisted me through the application period. She was kind, patient, flexible, available and knowledgeable an overall lovely person who is a credit to Jordan & Halstead. When Sophie couldn't assist me she was still helpful and referred me to the right people that could help me. Gemma was one of these people who was also, gratefully, kind, professional and worked very timely. I have had very few issues so far with the property and the issues I have had have been fixed promptly and to a high standard. No problems with this Estate Agents so far and would recommend. I'll try and leave a review when my contract come to an end in the future to reflect on that experience too.

I don’t often leave reviews but in this case I felt the need to. I recently had to move unexpectedly and quickly; also due to some historical financial complications I was rather nervous about the application process.
Katy A-N at Jordan and Halstead was incredible throughout the whole process of finding a property to let. Katy is understanding, knowledgable, professional and attentive. I really felt like Katy wanted to help me find the right home for me and she was happy to go above and beyond. Over the period of a couple of weeks she kept in touch regularly to check in with me, offer advice if I needed it and to set my expectations. I really did not feel like I was doing it alone.
I of course contacted various letting agencies regarding properties I was interested in and my unusual circumstances, however still to this day no other letting agencies have returned my enquiries; whereas Katy was straight on the case and happy to take on the challenge.

Starting with advice following vacation of the previous tenant to get the property in order, her network of tradesmen was invaluable, and her database and contacts to find the perfect new tenants is very impressive. Management of the whole process, including departure of previous tenant, handling new tenants' expectations, contracts, documentation and managing my own (as landlord) and contractors timescales and deadlines has been exemplary. Jordan and Halstead was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I followed up on his recommendation. A lovely lady called Katy dealt with finding the right tenant for my property. Nothing was too much trouble for her and Katy kept me up to date with proceedings, even late into the evening sometimes when the rest of us have clocked off!
