Had a property viewing arranged with Ollie who answered all my questions in a very professional way, he was very respectful and friendly. Even though I decided not to take this particular flat, Ollie made sure I would be contacted if anything new that I had interest in came up. I recently sold a property with Roy and his team having bought the same property from them a few years ago. They were excellent through the purchase and it made sense to go back to them as they already had experience of the house and were thorough and efficient during that process.
Second time around as the seller, the experience was superb. Their communication is excellent, always ensuring I was up-to date with each stage, letting me know essential information at all times - for me, the most important part of any house sale/purchase.
The team worked incredibly hard, it was a complicated sale but they were motivated, organised, professional and thorough throughout. They persevered and their energy never wavered. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an agent.

An absolutely fantastic estate agent! Roy helped us through buying a property where a huge number of issues had to be resolved. He is a skilled “people person” who Is clearly very experienced. He calmly cuts to the solution and gets solicitors focused so that hold ups are minimised and he provides reassurance as needed. We decided to try an agent that wasn't local to where our house was situated.
We have to say that our experience has been one that we wholeheartedly repeat should it be needed.
The whole service, from start to finish has been excellent, nothing was too much trouble, even when sales fell through, they were always there to help, advise and ultimately seen us through.
We know that whilst there maybe cheaper options available, we have experienced the service from such an agent, and I can see that you get what you pay for!
We can honestly say that we definitely recommend the whole team at O'Connell, and would expect that you would be extremely happy with the service you will receive.

O'Connell in Gloucester are a professional estate agent, yet easy to talk whilst providing honest and constructive advice. We felt very supported throughout the whole process and listened to. No pressure from them either.
We was made to feel that our property was important rather than 'just another property' which was a different outcome with some other local estate agents we had tried previously, who had failed to get us many viewings over a long period of time.
O'Connell was recommended to us from some other people who also had a good experience with them.
We cannot recommend this company enough. They complimented our property with the photos, video and presented it as it was.
Totally impressed with them from start to finish. They achieved what they said they would for us, sold quickly and got the asking price whilst keeping us updated throughout.
Great work! It's nice to finally find an estate agent to feel confident with and put your trust in them to do a good job!

If you are thinking of selling , contact Movearound first ! From start to finish of my sale Roy and Chris were absolutely brilliant. They gave viewers very positive ideas about my house and feedback was quickly obtained on every viewing. There were none of the problems I have had with other agents - no misbookings nor misunderstandings. They kept in good contact throughout and especially towards the signing of contracts and completion. Professional ,knowledgeable and courteous at all times, and competitive rates - why bother with the rest ?

I rented with move around for just over a year before the landlord decided to sell up. During the tenancy Move Around were a decent agent, fairly responsive to communications etc. Initially this made me leave a 5 star review but the subsequent debacle regarding the deposit has massively reduced my opinion of them.
After convincing me to go onto a rolling monthly renewal to avoid their extortionate renewal fees for a proper contract, literally weeks later they informed me the tenancy would be cancelled because the Landlord decided to sell. After going through the hassle and financial loss of moving, they then decided to level charges against my deposit of around £400.
Out of these charges I personally considered only around £50-80 to be deserved and the rest either to be extreme charges for small or petty problems (E.G. cobwebs in the garage) or charges for flat out fictitious items (E.G. accusing me of putting paint on a door which I never had). Honestly I should have let the matter go to arbitration because they wouldn't have stood a chance but unfortunately I didn't have the patience for the fight at that time.
Funny how a month or so later I saw updated for-sale adverts for the property with some of the rooms receiving overhauls. Maybe the landlord was in on it too.
I have no idea if they are any good for landlords but it wouldn't surprise me if they con them too as in my experience most letting agents are pointless parasites. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Seriously avoid...moved into a filthy I mean really grimey flat. Six months later trying to charge me £300 from a renewal. Worse was when l left and they took £200 out my deposit for professional cleaning service. I'm a clean guy the flat had never looked better in probably 20years. Again seriously avoid.

I wont go into the details here but the summary is they took £300 in the end for various (in my opinon) BS reasons, ignoring the fact I hired a professional cleaning company they recommended. I've rented 5 properties in my time and never had charges like this dropped on. I am not a careless tenant.
I have no idea what Move Around are like for landlords, but as a tenant my advice would be to make sure you personally make properties spotless before you leave otherwise this agency will claw chunks out of your deposit. Actually my advice would be to mortgage if you can, because tenancy is just not worth the aggro these days.

I have been renting for around 8 years and have dealt with about 5 different letting agents in that time. Move Around is seriously one of the best I have worked with. In an age where Agents seem be happy to treat tenants like mugs, squeeze every penny out of them with hidden charges and do the absolute bare minimum to help them, Move Around actually make you feel like a valued customer rather than just a rent machine.
Unfortunately my tenancy has had to come to an end due to a decision by the landlord to sell and I am already starting to feel like my new agent is about to screw me over so it is with sadness that I have to stop working with Move Around.
If you are fortunate to find a property you like under Move Around, do not hesitate, they will not be one of your headaches and they will not rip you off.
