Right from meeting Andrew and Sarah both clearly acknowledged the process for moving house and what fees were involved as well as recommending solicitors to us. At all times we felt at ease and if any questions ever arose they were met with promptness and professionalism every time! The house was photographed and looked stunning in the brochure and online which led to a sale pretty much as soon as it went live! The process from selling to completion was swift and a positive experience from start to finish! We can’t thank Hamptons enough for their care and attention throughout the sale of house.

2nd Jun 2024 (15 weeks ago)Hallam at Martin & co is an asset to the company. So knowledgeable, not pushy like a lot of others and very patient. Would always use Martin & co Gloucester for any further property selling & for buying (if possible)

Everything was new and very challenging for us. With the help of the team, we had a soft landing and are now in our new home.

They gave us advice all the way through, suggesting different selling strategies to try and boost viewings and offering wise counsel when offers were received. All the time they were friendly, approachable and encouraging and handled the viewings on our behalf perfectly. Their communication with us could not have been better. Initially we used two agents (a supported move feature of a new housebuilder). We had no viewings at all through the other agent, yet, at the same time, The Property Centre were able to find us interested people. Need I say more!
21st Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)Dreadful renting through them, faulty appliances provided by them refused to be replaced, multiple issues in regards to both water and space heating that refused to be replaced, which is illegal, repeatedly ignored phone calls to chase issues, refused to provide legal paperwork when requested. Glad to be away from them, record all conversations with them and keep copies of all emails incase you need to take legal action, which I'm consulting a legal firm to do so. Don't believe me? Check out the negative reviews and the passive aggressive attitude Farr and Farr present and you'll see what they are really like. [Edit] on top of this, the power supplier were provided incorrect meter readings by Farr and Farr so I've been hit with a £274 bill for a property I haven't lived in for three months
12th Sep 2024 (3 days ago)They appeared knowledgeable and impressive when we first met them but once we signed on that changed. Our property was damaged on the first viewing, they denied anything had happened and refused to take any responsibility. They don't reply to emails or return phonecalls or keep you informed of what is happening. Within the team, one member turned up late to viewings, another is incredibly rude, blunt and has zero manners and one team member lied to my face. They didn't promote our house, despite asking to change the price or change the approach nothing was done. I'd avoid at all costs, unless you believe your house will sell itself without any input from them.

She was very proactive in making recommendations that fitted our brief and ultimately found us a great place that suited our needs. Karl has let out and sold properties for me over the last few years and has always gone above and beyond my expectations... I have always felt confident that he's given me completely honest answers and guidance, rather than what I want to hear, finding him has been like gold dust, when it comes to buying/selling/letting, thank you so much Karl! Amazing job :)
- 2nd Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Staff were initially very helpful and knowledgeable but when our property was put up for sale we were very disappointed. Photos, measurements etc were taken but we did not have the opportunity to check the details before they put the house on the market. The photos were poor. We told them if the garden was too untidy we’d sort anything out at the weekend but that request was ignored.We weren’t told we had any viewings. The first time we knew that the house had been marketed was when a friend told us that he had seen it online through zoopla. We were very upset about it. I raised my grievance on the Monday I felt we had to remove it from the market.

From the beginning has been exceptional in first the presentation and launch of my property as well getting an amazing number of prospective buyers through the door. Once the sale was agreed pretty quickly dear Laura, took over to oversee the legal process always reporting every single detail to me by phone as she liaised with all the solicitors involved.
