Oasis Properties - Avoid if possible. Financially exploitative, with unexpected fees and attempts to raise rent even after signing contracts. Maintenance is a nightmare - expect delays and a lack of urgency until a new tenant is found. Overall, a stressful and frustrating experience. Look elsewhere for better value and peace of mind.

I had an appointment today at 12:00pm to view a property on Ducie Street with Claire Heaton, everything was clearly confirmed through emails. When I arrived at the address we agreed on, on time, I found myself waiting and calling the agency multiple times, using the two different numbers provided, left two voice messages, then at 12:25 decided to go to the agency to see if someone could help me there.
When arriving by the agency, Claire finally phones me and claimed that someone called the agency this morning to cancel the viewing, thinking it was me! She then refused to take me back to the property to view it and suggested a much later viewing time, not willing to meet me halfway in order to fix her obvious mistake when I had to take some time off work myself.
Claire wasted my time, her attitude towards business was extremely unhelpful and I intend to make more people aware about her highly unprofessional behaviour.

Terribly communicators. Contacted to view an apartment I was willing to put a deposit down on without viewing it as I knew it was what I wanted. Was told viewings were not taking place for a week and I couldn’t hold the property without having one. Two days later the property is Let Agreed…

Started off great! Oasis Living responded to all of our emails when things needed fixing, etc. over the course of our tenancy. Unfortunately, we had a chunk of our deposit taken and would have had more taken if we had not disputed. Before/when moving in, we were told not to worry about the carpets, as they’re in need of replacement, yet some of our deposit has gone to cleaning them. In addition, despite cleaning the property before leaving, another bit of our deposit has gone on a professional clean. Cleaning the property professionally should be something they should have paid for themselves, as we left the property as clean as we could possibly get it by ourselves. Really disappointed, and such a letdown! Please do better.

Some of the deposit went on cleaning the carpets, which we were told when moving in we didn’t need to worry about as they were going to be replaced after moving out. A big reason for the carpets being so dirty was the pipes in the kitchen leaking gross water everywhere - something we had no control over and was likely due to the pipes being so old. Additionally, despite the fact that we cleaned to the best of our ability before leaving, some more of our deposit went on a professional clean, which should have been their responsibility! Really annoyed and would not recommend.

I've been working with Oasis Living for nearly some 6+ months now, following a very positive recommendation from a colleague of mine.
I can wholeheartedly recommend them, both Claire and Laura are incredibly approachable, professional, and not afraid to go above and beyond - something that is sadly quite rare in this industry. Laura was happy to talk me through all the steps that were needed, and the service has been quick, easy, adaptable, and completely hassle free.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for an estate or lettings agent!

Top class estate agents. I received a professional yet personable service. Laura especially was always approachable and responsive. I was nervous about reporting the breakdown of some major appliances (washing machine and boiler), but there was no need. They were replaced within a week or so of reporting. No endless contractors sent to get the cheapest quote just a speedy and fuss-free approach to resolve. Never had this experience with previous agents! Makes such a difference to be trusted as a tenant and treated with mutual respect. Thanks Oasis Living for a great experience!

Laura was always responsive and understanding of our difficult situation (we lived above a nightclub which became extremely disruptive). Maintenance of the flat could have been better, though we were generally very pleased with our time

Oasis Living are freindly, knowledgeable and straight to the point. Both Claire and Laura are really knowledgeable and attend to your needs. Claire always makes us the perfect brew when we visit!! Rates and fees are cheaper than most of letting agents in the city centre too. Great location in Castlefield. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication over the past years. Myself and my partner have been renting the same flat from Oasis Living for 12 years and have just bought our own house so are reluctantly leaving. Part of the reason why we have stayed in the same place for the duration is because we were so happy with the service and support that we have received from Claire and the team throughout the duration of our tenancy.
We would highly recommend renting from Oasis Living.

I rented a property with Oasis for two years. Friendly staff, always very prompt to respond to emails and queries and deal with any repairs etc. Fees are a lot mot reasonable than with other agencies too. After my landlord put my flat up for sale they were very helpful in keeping me in the loop and offered to help me find a new place (even suggesting ones not on their books) and offering to help store my furniture when I moved out.

i would strongly advise against moving into one of oasis livings properties, they are rude, arrogant , useless and most of all liers! When you mail over a problem they either completely ignore you or keep making excuses on how they can't fix it, I lost my deposit because of mold on my window ledge like that ain't even my fault, how about you fix the Windows seals so you don't have a reoccurring mild problem??? Overall bad experience would never use these again and strongly recommend you don't
