I choose Premier Residential Manchester Lettings to rent for my master's study in the UK. I would like to recommend them without reservation.
Renting:
As a foreigner, I encountered barriers in renting an apartment advertised by other agencies as I hadn't been to the UK and couldn't attend the property viewing. Luckily, Premier Residential Lettings embraces foreign tenants and accepted my offer after I saw the video of the property. Adam is always efficient, supportive, and helpful. I appreciate him for helping me to rent my first apartment for my life, even overseas.
Living:
I had lived in the Hill Quays for about one year. It's convenient to go to the city centre (about 20 min), the universities (about 20 min), and groceries (about 3 min). The apartment is a quiet bay even on weekend nights for students struggling with deadlines. I never lost my parcel due to the great parcel management and enjoyed the onsite gym on rainy days. Sam is always kind, helpful, and energy-active. He is the person that made me want to be an apartment manager like him. I still remember that I didn't know how to lock the door and close the windows when I first came to the UK. I appreciate his help in helping me adapt to life here.
Life can be full of unexpectancy. The dishwasher in the apartment accidentally broke down during my tenancy. Luckily, Premier Residential Lettings efficiently replaced the dishwasher with a brand-new one without any charge. They are the best agency I've ever seen.
In short, Premier Residential Lettings made my life in the UK and I miss my life in the Hill Quays so much.

Initially, they were ok, but the busier they got, their service quality declined and their arrogance and unprofessionalism spiralled. This was not just a matter of inconvenience; it eventually threatened my tenants' safety and my welfare. Their lack of adequate responsiveness and failure to address urgent safety concerns, such as exposed wire/s in a bathroom, was alarming.
When I asked repeatedly about the danger of exposed wires in the bathroom, they refused to respond to this. I then requested a few quotes to address the issue immediately. I asked for a repair quote (like-4-like fix) and a quote for a system overhaul to prevent future problems like loose wiring. They ignored my email and then proceeded to send me one quote. After some reminders, it took them three weeks to address this. Even then, they still did not provide the requested quote but sent through estimates for work I was never informed about.
When the previous tenants used my name on their utility bills without permission, PRL did not apologise for failing to safeguard this process and do the appropriate checks. They did not explain why this occurred or attempt to resolve the issue. As a result, I received a hefty bill to my private home address from a debt collection agency for the tenants' unpaid bills. When I asked PRL to handle the situation by informing the debt collection agency of the tenants' move-in and move-out dates, they insisted I do it instead! I pointed out that this was their responsibility as the management agent and that they were explicitly mentioned in the letter from the debt collection agency. Only then did they agree to address the issue, but then failed to inform me of important updates. I later discovered they had received an crucial letter and had not bothered to inform me for a month. It's important to note that being associated with a debt collection agency can significantly damage one's credit. Despite the urgency to resolve the matter, PRL failed to provide me with timely updates on the situation.
In addition to the safety concerns, their unprofessional conduct was seeped in their inappropriate communication, disregard for my instructions, lies and lack of transparency in addressing outstanding matters. Despite my attempts to address these issues, their patronising and dismissive behaviour persisted. They would send condescending emails with a misogynistic tone, where matters I knew a lot about would be 'mansplained' to me. At one point, these emails got so bad that I tried calling them. Because, I didn't' feel that they were doing themselves any favours by sending these emails to a client, I explained that a phone call to discuss the issues might be better than receiving such inappropriate emails. But of course, as usual, they initially refused to answer my calls, further demonstrating their lack of professionalism and respect for my concerns.
I finally terminated their contract because I was tired of their laziness, unprofessionalism and poor customer service. I understand that things can go wrong, but it's how the matter is handled that speaks volumes. There is no point in paying a tenant management company full whack and receiving the bare minimum.
I wasn't initially going to write this review, but upon engaging a new agency, it became apparent that they had overlooked critical safety and maintenance issues. The new agency's thorough inspection revealed a level of negligence that I cannot condone as a property owner concerned for the well-being of my tenants.

Hi, from my first telephone interactions with Sam, then the receipt of the most comprehensive registration form via email I have received from any letting agency, to meeting Adam today at the viewing of the apartment my wife and I were interested in, Premier Residential has been, as their name suggests, a ‘premier’ experience. Just superb, and superb because of the personalities of the staff we have encountered and who have helped us. Sam and Adam were interested in us, empathetic to our questions and concerns, and polite, friendly, and professional. Premier Residential and Adam had been recommended to us by a building manager at another premises we visited, and it was by coincidence that he was the agent who oversaw our viewing of the apartment we visited which I had found online. The landlord, who we met briefly, explained too, how pleased they were with Premier Residential’s conducting of their rental initiative, and the trust they had in the company to manage their property once it was let. There’s not a lot left to say with regard to the quality of Premier Residential’s service as a letting agency. Top of the League table in all respects.

From the moment I contacted Premier Residential Lettings in Sept’23, I was impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism. They were always quick to answer my questions and concerns, which was super refreshing compared to the x10 other letting agents I was dealing with at that time. It was a crazy time to rent.
I was particularly impressed with Georgia responding to my questions & when I moved in there was an issue. It was dealt with immediately, no questions, no qualms, in fact she was more proactive than me!
Even during the pre-rent procedures Adam was backing up Georgia while on vacation, same super response. This kind of dedication is rare to find in the letting agents in my view and it made a real difference in my experience.
Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Premier Residential Lettings to anyone looking for a responsive, client-focused letting agent.

Future Tenants, well done. You have a great future ahead for comfortable and well looked after properties. We are renting from Premier Residential Letting nearly 5 yrs and still counting. Sam and Adam are two young and sophisticated individuals who go out of their way to make your renting very pleasant. If you have ever a problem it will be a quick response and very shortly a solution for yr problem. I have rented in my life from many agencies but this is the best so far.

Premier have been managing our rented property for a couple of years now. We moved to Premier after a particularly bad experience with another agent whose managing of our property was appalling. Premier are the exact opposite: efficient, organised, intelligent, they communicate promptly, they reply quickly to emails, they answer questions fully, they deal quickly with problems, and they charge half the price that our previous agents charged! I am wondering what the catch is, but so far there doesn’t seem to be one.

i want to recommend the Premier Residential Lettings, they helped me to found the apartment at beginning, after I move in, if I have facilities broken, they came in the second day and fixed it within a week, this is really nice, becasue I used to rent the apartment from the private landlord, one time the water pipe was broken so water leaking to the floor, i report to the landlord right away, and becasue he is lived in Italy he can't come to fixed the water pipe and also he is too cheap to pay the plumber to came, in the end he asked me to paid £400 for the floor repairs when i move out, it's very unfair and nasty, the previous tenants also have similar situation as me, and I think this kind of thing wont happen in the premier residential letting, and i totally trust and highly recommend them.

Except the building is under construction that no view and wind are in, the building has got good facilities and management.
The building has got a gym, sauna and steaming room. These facilities are kept clean and safety induction is always given for every lodger; common areas, like the corridor carpet are always kept clean.
There was a period the carpark shutter was broken. Management hired security guards to look up the carpark 24 x 7. I feel i can park my motorbike securely in the basement.
Initially my flat had got multiple issues when I moved in, such as heavy doors, broken extractor fan and oven, etc. All problems got fixed by time. I am quite impressed.
Last but not least, you can always find someone to talk to when you have a trouble. One time, I came home with my carpark fob lost after 9pm, I just threw a call to the management, they came to open the carpark shutter immediately.
Honestly, I am very happy with the flat and the management of this building.

Its been almost 2 years since I have been residing in one of their properties and I have never had any bad experiences with the agency. Adam and Sam are always available and have their responses quick.
Very recently I had asked for their help to send someone to check the boiler as there was no hot water. Within an hour I had a plumber call me and inspect the boiler.

Premier have been managing our rented property for about 9 months. We moved to Premier after a particularly bad experience with another agent whose managing of our property was appalling. The experience I've had from them has left me feeling as though they manage my property as if it was their own. They're careful about ensuring repairs are done efficiently, and cost effectively (without having to have repairs). They've also effectively navigated changing tenants with minimum impact to me. And if that wasn't enough, anytime their is a change in legislation that has an impact to me, they warn with in advance, then proactively manage all the associated requirements with no impact to me. Shocking experience with this letting agency so far. Poor customer service and a great lack of communication once you are finally in a contract. Stay clear of Hill Quays apartments, unless you want an experience of being thrown into the deep end in a new flat / building with no guidance what so ever. And oh yeah, if you do have any issues they’ll just imply that you’re lying and begrudgingly deal with you... Most communication comes with a rude and derogatory tone for a reason I do not understand when all tenants are trying to be is polite.
Have some respect and show some decency to your paying customers. This is where people live! Why would you want people to live in an environment where you create unnecessary stress? It’s rude and their service should be brought to light. Shameful that businesses can operate like this really... I know that I am not the only paying customer that feels this way about premier residential lettings.

One of the best letting agent in Manchester! I've had a great experience with the agency; all my questions were answered, I wasn't charged any extra/additional fees, contracts were signed digitally and prompt responses from the friendly team. All my requests were attended to in full capacity and all repairs/services are attended to immediately.
Premier Residential Lettings has definitely raised the bar and other agents have a lot to learn from such an agency.

A good letting agency, extremely happy with the service both before my tenancy started, with the application process etc and also during the tenancy period. Application rates were also lower than any other agencies I've used.
The maintenance service has been great.
Customer care is one of among the best I've seen in Manchester.

I have been a tenant with PRL since February this year and since living here they have been great, any problems get sorted straight away. I was really struggling to find somewhere to rent before I came across these as I was looking to move from the opposite side of Manchester so I struggled to view properties as they would get took before I got the chance. I Found my flat and from day one Adam turner was fantastic doing everything he could to get everything sorted as quick as possible as I had a deadline to move out of my previous property I was in. I couldn't recommend them enough and the cheapest I found.

I used premier lettings this month while I was looking for an apartment to rent. Adam was absolutely fantastic and so helpful. He kept me posted daily with all progress of the apartment and when it was going to be ready, and once ready all of the paperwork was sent over so quickly and was really easy to fill in. I have recently moved into a flat with PRL, with it being my first letting agent I am very happy with the service I have experienced! Compared to friends and family experiences I feel that PRL is far above other letting agents in terms of quality and service.
Adam especially will go above and beyond to sort out my problems and queries, response time via email or text is very very quick and it's always reassuring to know when I have a problem it is always sorted very quickly and efficiently. With it being my first home aswell Adam is very helpful with any questions I may ask at all, always responding politely and quickly. Couldn't praise them enough!

The first day I went for viewings, I fell in love with place straight away and as soon as I let Adam knows he's one of the agency that showed me the flat on my viewing day and my application to get the flat began straight away. I get very quick response from him and he helped me a lot in making sure I get the place which am living right now. The flat also have handyman which Adam gave me his number, the handyman has being very helpful. He has helped me fix and installed my furnitures, he's always happy to help me when I called him. The flat is very quite, clean and cosy, every one I have meant living there so far has being really nice. One of the guys that is living even helped me to carry some of stuffs when he notice that I needed help. Very convenient area to live, regular transportation and has a lot of shops around .I would highly

Since moving into my flat three months ago I have found Premier Residential Lettings to be really helpful. If I have ever had any questions about my flat, they've been answered the same day. This was particularly useful when my washing machine broke and the company sent someone round to look at it that day. When I signed up to take the flat, the paperwork was completed really quickly which helped make the moving process much easier.

Incredibly hands on lettings agent. Fast response times and a 'make it personal' approach to dealing with tenants. Had a small fault and my boiler which was marked as an "Urgent job" after one email and the repair man came over to my flat within a couple of days to sort it out.
Great value initial lettings fees and reasonable rents rates. All in all a very good service!

I will say I'm defintelt very happy with the level of proffessionalism shown in property management. It is sincerely the best property service I have ever recieved. My property even has a nice day to day caretaker always onsite, unlike other properties I have lived. Any problems are solved immediately which makes a good property agent. Good value for rent, good reputation for the company. At the end of the day, what matters is that we are all happy

We cannot think of anything that could have made Premier's service better.Their overture to us to change agents was very convincing including cheaper fees and some in house jobs being offered free.They turnede out to be true to their word and more.The transition was very smooth with none of the usual shenanigans about keys. Whenever anything arises there is always an immediate response to emails and problems fixed straightaway and full timely update given.We look forward to many trouble free years with Sam and Adam.

I couldn't recommend Premier Residential Letting enough! I decided to move on my own to Manchester after 7 years in West Yorkshire, so you can only imagine how daunting it can be to moving to a complete different place but PRL and especially Adam Turner have been absolutely wonderful in helping me move, from the first viewing to the signing of the contract. They are always available for you if you have any questions or requests. If you are a tenant looking to rent somewhere from a professional estate agent, just use PRL :)
