Terrible experience with Oppida. Fine when we lived in the property, awful afterwards when dealing with our deposit. Not only did they not give us our deposit back for a long time, when they finally sent us the deposit breakdown, they attempted to take over half of the deposit for repairs that were not our responsibility. When asking them to return undisputed funds so we could take the remainder to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, they refused to do so, leaving us without any money from them for over four months, despite it being UNDISPUTED and therefore our own money. Thankfully, we were aware of our rights, took our case to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and received a large portion of our deposit back in the end. I would be very cautious of Oppida and ensure you communicate solely through emails to ensure you have proof if needed.... Read more

These cowboys of estate agencies industry think they can do whatever they wish. They are incompetent, arrogant and don't know the law they operate within. They cost me a lot of time, money and effort due to a misrepresentation they did. Thankfully Ombudsman has now forced them to repay me part of the money. The other part will soon be recovered through court. Avoid them at all cost if you don't want to be ripped off.... Read more

Useless agency who then lied in their appraisal of the property in the end when they charged us money when their own staff agreed they had no right to appraise the property as they had not seen it at the start of tenancy, I would never use them. Their service for setting up house viewings was ill organised and their staff had no sales acumen to the point that the person who finally let it I had to sell it to them myself. When I complained they used broken record technique to get me off the phone which was flagrantly disrespectful.... Read more

After 1 year that i thankfully don t deal with this agency anymore, I still believe they abused of power as they where constantly starving for money, what they practically do? watch football and be o socials e try to invent ways of stealing by the law !!... Read more
