I telephone late last Saturday (27.4.19) enquiring about a cottage for rent in Somerton; knowing they were closed I left a voicemail. I telephoned again on Monday morning and spoke to Luke in sales who said he would pass my message on and get 'lettings' to call me back. I'm still waiting (2.5.19)!!!!! You obviously don't want to rent properties out! Or are you more interested in Sales???? Are us mortals who cannot afford to buy less important than those that can????... Read more

As a first time buyer, the staff at Palmer Snell in Somerton were great. I had no idea what I was doing or what I had to do. Gabby and her team helped me through the whole process and answered any and all of my silly questions and helped when ever I needed help. They were great at keeping me up to date on the progress of my purchase and updating me at every stage. Always available to talk when needed. I also used Countrywide through Palmer Snell. Luke was brilliant at making everything clear and easy for me to understand and again keeping me updated at all times, helping me go through my options and helping me to take the best route for my personal situation and making the whole process a whole lot easier and less stressful! Not only that but I really wanted to be in by Christmas and they made it happen! They went the extra mile to make sure everything was getting done so I completed as soon as possible and so, I got to spend my first Christmas in my own home! Thank you so much to you all! Popped in to buy some Panto tickets yesterday, the lady that served me was charming and very helpful. I did have to wait a few minutes, as she was helping a customer at the time, but I didn't mind as it is was only Panto tickets. After all, it is an Estate Agents, not a Box Office.... Read more

I only went to buy tickets for the local panto... not to use this company - not that I would now based on my experience! Rude lady was very abrupt and did not even acknowledge my presence whilst I waited to buy tickets. If you cannot provide polite curious staff who are happy to take 2 minutes of their day to give tickets, then why agree to sell the tickets? Just let someone else sell them next time to save people the unpleasant experience of having to come in here.... Read more

Im not a customer of Palmer Snell, but I went into the Somerton branch today (07.02.18) to buy tickets for our local panto. There was only one member of staff present (a young lady), who was serving a gentleman who I believe was looking to buy a home. I wasnt acknowleged upon arrival (which is basic retail principles) and was ignored for a long length of time up until the point where I had to ask her if I could quicky buy tickets. The kind gentleman who she was serving said that he wouldnt mind as buying tickets would be quick process. The Palmer and Snells represetative shocking reply was "this is our priority, this is my full time job; so you will have to wait" this was in such a rude manner. I understand that you were serving a potential home buyer, however if this is your standard customer service practice within your company, I would advise all customers to avoid Palmer Snell Somerton. We will certainly not be buying our home through your company later this year.... Read more

Used Palmer Snell earlier this year, surprised the actual deal completed, Most dispointing that I was told if I did not meet there in house mortgage advisor (countrywide) my offer would not be put to the vendor. Countrywide mortgage advisor and service offered was a complete waste of money, please do not be tricked into wasting your time with an appointment, what you will be offered will be free of charge from your bank, it won't be until your second appointment you will be explained several fees payable. All in all a poor experience which I would not recommend.... Read more
