I think that, should Maddie and Kate decide to do it, they’d walk across oceans no problem at all. Backstory is: I asked Maddie to do a simple thing, but something I’ve found to be beyond the capability of the estate agents of my experience – please find my tenants a new rental, and please treat my tenants with dignity and respect. Start to finish it took Maddie 30 days. There were hiccups – new landlady changed her mind a week before move date, for instance. That’s where Kate stepped in and waved some sort of estate agents’ magic wand, landlady changed her mind back to where it should’ve been and tenants have a new home. Kate and Maddie both were always a pleasure to deal with, taking a joined-up approach to sorting out the hiccups and keeping me informed at every stage. Happy days. Watch this space for the continuing tale of my rental property!!! Hint: there’s a sale involved and yes, Parkland Estates have been asked to handle it for me.... Read more

Avoid at all costs. Provide next to no help in the rental process. They want you to pay the agency fee and have no intention to get you moved into a place. Getting the correct information is like drawing blood from a stone. They will just give you any answer to appease you. AVOID these parasites. The state of the rental industry in this country is a joke.... Read more

Total nightmare staff don't communicate was renting a property thro them when we decided to look for a different letting agent and checks where being done parklands told them I wasn't one of there tenants and could give a reference thay do house inspection at random dates thay even let them selfs in once when my wife was in shower some of staff r rude and also would tell us one story then landlord a different one I would rather live in a tent than go to them again we put new carpets in there and decorated all the way through but il b honest I'm not expecting to get out deposit back ??????????... Our experience was shocking from start to finish, with move in date being cancelled 20 minutes before removal firm turned up. Would have pulled out but they hold you hostage by taking cash off you as soon as you apply for a property. Complaints letter going in.... Read more

Do not use this estate agent. They do not give a damn. Found whole rental experience very very stressful. Very nice people until you sign on dotted line........ They are devoid of the truth!! I can't recommend this agency highly enough! To be honest selling my little property wasn't a massive earner for them, but it still felt like they mobilised an army for me. All the staff have been friendly, courteous and uber-efficient. Within 24 hours of choosing Parklands my home was like Piccadilly Circus with viewings, and the staff had obviously done a great job of sorting the serious prospects from the window-shoppers so I didn't have to deal with time-wasters. Amazingly, Tom in the Ramsgate branch found a buyer for me WITHIN FOUR DAYS. I'd choose Parklands every time.... Read more
