Although we are in lockdown, there are a number of food shops on site which are open and need support. It's a very nice area to visit, especially when everything is back to normal. There are a number of eateries, a pub shops etc. There are also a number of boats moored which are lovely to look at. Easy access for wheelchairs in some buildings. An elderly couple on the next table asked for a spray and some tissues and the lady serving was quite rude to them. Interesting part of Faversham, there are boats and shops, a champers bar and a great little cafe cum garden centre serving the largest cakes in the universe. If you like antiques and vintage, there are three or four snazzy little places worth a browse. And as you leave, drop in to The Anchor, old pub with great food and service. An afternoon on Standard quay is an afternoon well spent.... Read more

A litetal maze of serious antique and rummage shops. Parking quite hard as crowded. Lovely cafe for lunches etc. I reckon you could spend the day here n never get bored - whole area under redevelopment so give it a few years and hopefully it will offer more without losing its character.... Historic dockyard that has been rejuvenated into a lovely area with antique and collectables shops. Little cafes and tea room plus Garden Centre. You can see old Thames barges and boat houses. Just a nice place to visit and spend time relaxing. There is also personal grooming units. Not very well advertised or signposted but well worth the effort of finding as it's a short walk from Faversham shopping area. Also great pub ca?led the Anchor.... Read more
