They suggested to us properties we might like, and this was how we found a lovely flat we hadn't even considered at first. Very professional management in every way
Polite and considerate keeping us informed every step of the way in letting our property
All of our different tenants have spoken very well of Penyards management manner and communications. Quick to respond to repair problems and extremely considerate if rent payment problems arise.
We have never had our property vacant whilst Penyards have been working for us
Would recommend any landlord or prospective tenant to use Penyards for a helpful and seamless journey to letting or renting

We instructed Kim and the Penyards team after our previous letting agent had been unable to generate any meaningful offers for our rental property after 6 weeks of trying, we instructed them on Friday and on Tuesday morning we had accepted an offer for the full asking price. Kim even hosted an out of hours viewing on the Monday night prior to the offer being made and delayed her social event. I just wish we had found Kim and the Penyards team sooner, an absolutely amazing service from dedicated and diligent employees, Penyards should be very proud, excellent.

Annalise was very attentive and kept following up by phone with potential rental properties and did not just rely on e-mail listings. She was also very knowledgeable on the properties we viewed which was very refreshing compared to other agents who did not know what they were trying let. Penyards were one of the better lettings agents we dealt with in our search for a home.

I've dealt with Penyards Property Management (PPM) twice now this year. Pippa showed me round three properties in February, and Annalise showed me round a property in September. Both times they were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about the properties and local areas. While I didn't end up signing onto any of the properties, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in returning to PPM in the future for help in finding a property to rent. We found Annalise's service very good. It impressed us. She persevered in contacting me to talk about potential properties and arrange viewings, when I know I can be difficult to get hold of. She also showed us several properties in a professional way, with respect for all parties (viewers, tenants and landlords). We have experience of several agents in Winchester while looking for somewhere to rent over the past month. She stood out as one who was putting the effort in. I know this effort hasn't resulted in us renting a property through Penyards on this occasion, but that is because of the properties Penyards have available in the area we ideally want, not because of her. Annalise's service encourages us to use Penyards again in the future as a tenant, landlord or for property sale/purchase.

I have dealt with a number of different estate agents over the years as a renter and have found many of them to be untrustworthy and unprofessional.
Penyards are by far the exception. They are the most professional estate agents I have dealt with to date. They were always very quick to respond to emails and queries. I felt well looked after by them during my tenancy. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Issues with the property were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Charlotte who was my first point of contact was absolutely fantastic and always very helpful. Big thanks to her and her team!

We had a very good experience with Pennyards on the letting side. They were friendly and easy to work with. On the administrative side, everything was smooth, efficient and thorough. Pippa was wonderful to work with. We felt it was a much more personal experience going through the whole process with her, rather than being passed from one agent to the next like some other letting agencies. We are loving our new family home, and wouldn't have found it without Pippa's hard work!

I feel Penyards are the premier lettings agents in Hampshire. They seem to have a class above the majority. Especially in and around Winchester . I have had many dealings with them in the past and found all the staff to be very helpful and genuine. I'm sad to see some negatives in the reviews above (things id suggest staff have no control over!)

NEVER USE PENYARDS.
left us without water in our flat for 5 weeks as well as leaving us in mould. The flat wasn't clean when we arrived but they now are insisting that is was, despite my pictures i took when i arrived that showed mud on carpet and the cooker covered in rust.
their Lettings staff are lazy and did not care, all they did when we went in to let them know that our window was practically caving in because of the moulded wood was go "okay", thrust more food in their gobs or text on their mobiles! And don't even get me started on the narcissist that is 'Tracey'
Anyway, if you want to leave with sanity and happiness just go round the corner and speak to someone else, because these 'sort of humans' are vile and awful and would rather you got sick or had to get stitches because your bedroom ceiling caved in (VERY TRUE, CAN PROVIDE PICTURES) just don't use them, they are AWFUL

We have had a horrible experience dealing with Penyards. We moved into a home we're renting in Hyde just a few short weeks ago. We received housing inventory paperwork the day we moved in and upon review of the documents, they were totally inaccurate. Rooms listed fireplaces and fixtures that weren't present, and many important defects were left out. We identified two basic issues within days which needed fixing and quickly; the oven only heats to 160c, and water in the shower trickles out. It's now been almost four weeks, the issues have not been fixed, and we've constantly had to chase Penyards down for status because of their inability to respond. Calling, emailing and even showing up at their office in person have literally no effect at getting anything done. If you find a house or flat to let that you absolutely love, I would suggest you pass if it involves Penyards. They're completely incompetent.
