We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. All round excellent service from Michelle and her team in the lettings department. Harry Crisp gets an extra shout out for going above and beyond, offering to personally go and run a hoover to clear up any debris, prior to tenants checking in. It has been a pleasure dealing with Michelle, and Harry as they have been very efficient, and speedy replying to communications, and helpful in advising on landlord issues. We are very impressed by their service, and happy we have made the jump from a different lettings agency.

What a fantastic service and Team.
Jon Lacey was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, making everything easy and straightforward, and being a very human contact for selling during Covid lock-down. No hard selling or empty promises, just good solid facts that he made good on.
Communication was excellent throughout, including the extended decision making period, the process was clear and easy and Jon, himself, went above and beyond to ensure that all parties remained happy throughout. Excellent value for money.

Incredibly poor service received from Savills Winchester Letting team. No expedience to let the property, poor vetting of future tenants, viewings cancelled with no notice. Lack lustre viewings when they did take place, little or no knowledge of the surrounding areas. Very poor service all around and rude attitude towards tenants. Also very hard to get through to them on the telephone. Poor Management with dishonest staff who consistently lie to clients. Completely inept in letting a property which given the quality and condition could quite easily let itself! Poor time keeping and organisation in the office. Overall poor level of service and would not recommend the lettings team!

Im sure the vendor will share my views in the fact that if it hadn't of been for Steven's proactive approach and determination then the deal may not have completed anytime soon.

Excellent and a very professional service from all members of the Sales and Support Teams operating from an impressive office environment. Found the perfect client to purchase our property in what at the time was a difficult market due to BREXIT and other factors. Competitive costs of sale, well earned. The most outstanding aspect apart from their well proven reputation as an Estate Agent was the regular almost daily updates as to what was actually happening within the sales process and kept us reliably informed at all stages. This level of client communication was exceptional and in our experience of having moved house several times was indeed the most impressive element of their high quality service levels. We have had a very positive experience with Savills Winchester with the sale of our home. In what has been largely considered a testing time to sell property they were extremely efficient in getting viewings through the door and subsequently negotiating a proceedable offer within a couple of weeks of marketing the house. Giles Muddle and Haley Prescott were excellent to deal with on a daily basis and were very helpful both before and after exchange. We cannot recommend them enough and we wouldn't hesitate using Savills again in the future.

Savills Winchester sold my property quickly and smoothly between September and December 2018. Steven and Lindsay called the market correctly and realistically from the outset. I was very comfortable that they would market the house discretely to active buyers. Communication was excellent throughout; they did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. This was a time with stamp duty at 12% and the uncertainty of Brexit, together reducing the number of serious buyers and increasing the attractivess of staying with a current property and investing in improving or enlarging it. Savills demonstrated true expertise, understanding of their local market and a deft human approach.

Warning if you are renting through Savills....(also note that many of the reviews are from one reviewers who reviewed only once.)
Initially we were happy with Savills until we came to the landlord wanting to move in and the contract hadn't been written correctly. We had 3 months to run but, as a large favour, we agreed to look for a house and found one we liked. We agreed to move during the school holidays and our busiest time of year for work. At the end of tenancy, they employed a different inventory clerk on the way out - to cut a long story short the exit inventory bore little relation to the inbound. The house was cleaned to a very high standard yet, despite getting Savills off the hook, they and the landlord withheld over £1000 for a small 3 bedroom cottage, sighting tiny marks and scratches which to any one else would have been wear and tear. We are of course going to the ombudsman but for anyone renting from Savills, make sure you read the contract and do not sign an inventory until you have gone through every page and agreed that its the same clerk on the way out or they will take your money and waste a huge amount of time. I will never use this company again in anyway...extremely unprofessional. Michelle Quinn the lettings manager should be ashamed of herself and the landlord David Roberts for ungentlemanly behavior

Not only is she knowledgeable about the properties and areas she also comes across incredibly empathetic to what finding a property means - that it is about finding a home during a time when lots of other things are usually also in transition.
