NUMBER 53 HEMMING WAY!!! Well Ive never privately rented a property before but I was desperate to find a wheelchair accessible ground floor flat. I called Pure & explained to Nina that I had a buyer for my house so needed somewhere ASAP. Long story short. I viewed a flat that seemed fine although I queried the dirt tiny electric heaters. I was told the heaters were cheap to run & threw out a lot of heat. This has now been checked by a heating company & they’re just cheap plug in heaters that are not enough to heat the size of the flat. The windows are draughty and trying to get something done is impossible. I’m in a wheelchair & they knew this but I wasn’t told my post would be put in an outside box down some steps! It took a month for me to find out why I’d had no mail as another tenant told me & she now gets my mail. It was agreed with the landlord that wood flooring roils be fitted but when I collected the keys cheap vinyl had been put down with brown sealant up the skirting board. There’s mould round the windows & bath & the external door was broken. One of the tenants sent an email as the door was so bad we recently had a syringe left at the bottom of the stairs so someone had got in & taken drugs one night. We have 2 vulnerable people here plus a child but none of us feel safe so we have to make sure our own doors are always locked, I can’t believe any letting agency would treat its tenants so badly. The hallway has no heating at all & the front doors to each flat are not fitted properly. I wish I had used a good agency & not one that ignores my calls & emails.
I’ve just seen that my neighbours ground floor flat is up for rent on Hemming Way! She had (like me) numerous complaints about her flat. Both flats were mouldy and damp and freezing cold in the winter so they always go out to rent in the spring or summer. Does the mould on the walls and windows get treated? NO THE WALLS GRT PAPERED OVER SND PAINTED AND THE WINDOWS GET WIPED DOWN BUT IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY YOU CAN SEE THE BLACK AROUND THE WINDOWS. All windows in both ground floor flats are draughty and my neighbour had several leaks that she had to pay to have fixed. They’re lovely looking flats but you get rushed in and out so you don’t see the problems. My neighbour and I gave up calling Pure as they would say they would get an engineer out but never did. When I left my flat I was rudely told I had to hand the keys back on the day I left. As I was moving to Hertfordshire we wanted to leave early so my partner went to put the keys in an envelope through their letterbox. There is no letterbox or anywhere to leave the keys so he had to wait until they opened. He’s a very polite man and told the lady why he was there and she didn’t even look up from her laptop to give him the courtesy of acknowledging him. Completely awful company!!!!

I don’t actually like to leave bad reviews but in this instance I’m quite upset about the service here.
I enquired about a property to which I had an email about, I responded with our details so that we could either book in for a viewing or be told we can’t view the property in line with their initial assessment of people wanting to view. I heard neither. I emailed again, and called the office.
The attitude of whoever I spoke to in the office left me feeling like a burden. I called and politely said that I’d enquired but not heard anything back, “well I’ve not seen it” “what’s your name and I’ll check”. I provided the date of the email, my name and said who had initially responded to me. No apology for the first response I got and was informed the lady works out of office, they would forward an email saying I’d called and ask what was going on. Once again, nothing.
I’ve now sent three emails about a property that I want to view, plus called twice. Once it went to voicemail and once where I was met with the above.
I can see there’s positive reviews and I’m not saying don’t let a peppery with this company, but my personal experience was quite a let down and unnecessary? If someone isn’t right for the property, then there’s no reason to not say so you don’t leave them hanging.

Just relocated from London to Norwich and can't believe renting a flat with Pure Lettings can be that mind-blowing and seamless - viewing a flat, filling in the application and referencing stuff online, taking the keys in about a week or two and... DONE! Definitely saved us tonnes of hassles on endless calls, or to travel back and forth.
Special dedicated thanks to the lovely and excellent team with Lydia and Angie, who made our relocation and contracting a smooth and nice one. The maintenance team is also very friendly, efficient and professional to fix few glitches (almost instantly on the same day or next!) in our newly-refurbished aging flat. ????????????
It'd even save us the last bit of manual work if the online system can take care of all the utility accounts. But that would be too perfect. ????

We were really struggling looking for a house in a Norwich. But Lydia at Pure letting was fab, within hours of enquiring about a house we had arranged a viewing and by the end of the week the contracts were all sorted. Since moving into the house there have been a few minor maintenance things to solve and the team at Pure letting have been really good and quick at responding to our emails.

Have recently rented a flat through Pure Lettings and it has been a seamless and easy process! I became a tenant just under a year ago. I am medically retired and registered as disabled which means I have more needs than the average tenant. Natasha was extremely understanding and helpful when I first rented a property. Since then, Lydia and the other ladies have joined the team and my dealings with them have also been extremely helpful, efficient and pleasently dealt with.
Any problems that have arisen in my time with them have been recognised early and remedied quickly by Lydia and the maintenance staff Joe and Jack.
I have nothing but praise for their whole team. They have shown a humanitarian side to an industry not usually known for it and I'm thankful for their help!

The staff at Pure Lettings who dealt with my move into rented accommodation (Natasha, Lydia, Carl and Trish) were approachable, friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They really did make the moving process easy for me and went above and beyond to put in place all the things I needed. I've found them to be particularly responsive and quick to deal with any issues at the property. They understand what is important to tenants in shared accommodation (e.g. providing good quality cleaners for communal areas - who also happen to be friendly and approachable, and keeping kitchen cooking facilities in good repair).
I would definitely recommend Pure Lettings.

Pure Lettings, well what can I say. Lydia is amazing, she had managed to get me and my partner a place to stay within about a day or two! The morning we did our forms online were all sorted by the afternoon. Then the morning after or so we moved in. We needed a few little things done in the place like a new blind and curtain rail, they managed to get joe the lovely maintenance guy to do the bits within a day. Really can't fault pure lettings at all.

Not a good letting agent. When we moved into the property there were multiple maintenance and cleaning issues that had not been caught and generally took them a long time to sort out maintenance problems. They were overall disorganised and unable to answer basic questions, such as how to get a meter reading from the closed units or where to get a parking permit. When it came to ending our tenancy, they were unresponsive and unhelpful about getting our deposits back, coming up with increasingly unlikely excuses as to why no action had been taken, and only responded when we threatened them with legal repercussions.

probably the WORST letting agency you can go with, they made my boyfriend go from November to January until he moved out with no radiators and offered no support when his electricity bill shot up due to using electric heaters. Not to mention the house was filthy when he moved in, smelly, old and falling apart, rude and unresponsive staff that take millennia to get back to you, never with a helpful solution, and then take your deposit at the end only to not spend the money cleaning up for the next tenants who no doubt will unknowingly move in to a dirty house that claims to have been left clean.

Poor agency. They took a few months to sort out a problem with a violent neighbour in the property, so I spent months on edge and felt unsafe. When I emailed to inform them I was moving, they gave me the option to get my keys cut so they could do viewings. They offered to pay me for this, but they never did, despite me emailing several times reminding them. I felt let down and never received good customer service from them at all.

Have let my house for over 8 years with Pure as the managing agent. Generally they do a good job. Lettings have always been undertaken efficiently. Communications from tenants have been prompt - i.e., when they require repairs or extra information about the contract or property. On the occasions when unexpected issues have arisen, Pure have helped deal with those, looking at legal issues and advising on ways to move forward. Occasionally communications within the office seem to take time as issues are passed between people specified for each task, but the delays are not unwarranted. Overall, I've been happy with how they manage the property.

I use to be employed by this company. I was working in the sales department. The reason why I left was due to being bullied and sworn at on a daily basis by Angela McGhee for no reason. She is the letting manager. I made a serious complaint to the HR department (Heather Bacon) but my complaint was not acknowledged by any manager or senior member of staff. I even have videos to prove this but yet Pure Estate Agent did not want to take anything further. I also witnessed racial comments made to tenants who were from India again I have videos to prove this. This was also part of my complaint but no acknowledgment from anyone above. Due to this I am now depressed and financially effected by the act of Angela McGhee and Phillip Eglen who is the office manager. I have contacted my solicitor which is still in process. I am free to comment and give my opinion.

I'm looking to relocate my office and saw a large banner advert outside Pure Lettings advertising their serviced offices so I gave them a call.
The person that answered the phone said that she didn't know about the serviced offices but a colleague would call me back - a week later and still no call back. What a waste of time - why even bother advertising if making a follow up phone call is too much trouble?

I've rented a property off of them for 3 years now. Here are my thoughts.
When I moved into the property it hadn't been cleaned, it was disgusting. One one of 4 storage heaters actually worked and the place hadn't been renovated in a very, very long time. I recently had my tenancy terminated under housing section 22, which is a no fault termination, I was on a rolling contract meaning the landlord can ask for the property back whenever they wish. This was my first time living in a place on my own. I wasn't made aware of this, nor was I approached at any point to renew the contract. When speaking to a member of their staff about it, clearly upset, they were antagonist, offensive and lacked any people skills, the woman was humming down the phone while I was clearly upset as if she was having the best day ever. I have since approached them via phone and email in an attempt to arrange a more fixed term contract.. My emails have been ignored for 4 days and when I was told the right person would ring me back, they haven't, in the last 4 days. I haven't had assistance looking for a new place, I haven't had an apologies or condolences. They don't care about you the tenant, only themselves. They took now illegal admin fees from me, to do what? I had a problem with rats in which they ate through my floorboards, did they come fix them? No. Avoid these people at all cost, they are not there for you, they don't care, they won't help and they will do the bare minimum they can get away with, and considering they are estate agents, that is next to nothing. Avoid. They haven't even provided a basic service of other options that might be suitable. I should also clarify, I never missed a months rent, asked them to do any work on the flat, outside of the rat issue, and had no complaints against me.

He had even waited for my viewing appointment even though i was significantly late, which i am very grateful for. I was able to move into my property flawlessly because of his efficiency.

Having expressed an interest in viewing a property we called an rearranged when the Tennant was unable to be contacted. Then after travelling into Norwich with the express purpose of viewing the property we were left waiting over 15 minutes after the agent was due. After trying to contact the Norwich office unsuccessfully over 8 times and getting no response (despite claiming to be open on Saturday) we called Abbot fox instead who kindly informed us that the property had been let agreed. We waited in all morning until 10am so they had ample time to contact us on either my home or mobile number but we received nothing whatsoever. I am saddened by this experience and will be searching through an alternative agency now as this has upset both myself and my prospective flatmate by wasting our time and money.

My partner and I had a great experience with Pure, couldn't fault them at all.
Communication was brilliant, they kept us in the loop with everything that was happening as soon as there was any updates.
Charlie Punchard was assigned to us and was very friendly, at times when our solicitor was rather useless he was very helpful, hastening them on a regular basis and trying to get everything through as quick as possible.
We would definitely without a doubt recommend using them. couldn't have asked any more of them.

My partner and I made an offer on a property in Norwich February 7th this year,. The offer was accepted, we paid solicitors costs, 8 months later we are still no further forward, there has been no response from Pure despite calls and emails to them,, we asked for a second viewing of the property in July, Andrew came out, he was rude and arrogant saying he didn't have time to show us around, could we hurry up as he needed to be elsewhere! We were in and out of the property in 5 minutes.
We have called Pure numberous times during the 8 months, we have been told the person we need to speak to is out of the office, messages have been left, no calls came back.when asking for the office manager we have been put through to 3 different people who all claim to be the office manager! On one occasion . we explained our situation to Tiffany she promised to chase this up ASAP and provide information about an alternative property a week later instead of a call we received a text to say she had spoken to the vendor and would get back to me ASAP, the alternative property was now going to be let as the seller had financial issues, the text was recieved August 13th, it is now October 19th we have heard nothing since despite calling the office and leaving messages., Tiffany blatantly lied about the alternative property as a sold sign was put up 5 weeks later.
Pure advised us to use Rogers and Norton Solicitors they are also impossible to get hold of always an answerphone when you call, despite leaving messages , no response.
The whole experience has been shockingly poor. Pure staff have been arrogant and rude, no customer service skills, never returning calls, .8 months later, £400 out of pocket, we have no idea what is going on. Definitely wouldn't use Pure again or view anorher property if PURE estate agents were selling it .

LANDLORDS AVOID!!!!
This is the worst letting agency I have ever been involved with. As a Landlord I would never go anywhere near them again! They charge a monthly fee of 10-11% and do absolutely nothing for it. The managers change every other week and they can’t seem to keep hold of any office staff. The place is a joke! No inspections for properties are ever sorted or organised. Property is far from safe and protected in the hands of this incompetent agency. All I can say is it’s been a headache from start to finish. I feel robbed of the money they have taken from me over the past few years. What a shambolic operation.

Very disappointed, after waiting four months on a offer that was accepted on a house we had 0 phone calls on how things are going. Every time we called our estate agent he was always “busy” even though we could hear him in the background. Everytime they say they will call you back you've got a better chance of getting blood out of stone. So frustrating having to work with these people. Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy.

Girlfriend paid £220 application fee for a room. On the day before she planned to move in, the agent rang and said that there was a problem and that the room was not available. He did however offer an alternative in the red light district (Did he wait to tell her so she'd be almost forced to take the room, we’ll never know, did he think because he was dealing with an east European he could get away with denying someone their rights?). After refusing the room she asked for her money back, agent said that if she wasn't taking the room the money is theirs.
Where the agent was useless the manager was at least concerned about the companies online reputation (I had written a review by then). He stated that obviously if the room was not available the application fee is refundable and when I asked said that the agent was to be corrected on his actions. I said that my girlfriend would contact the next day to supply the card details to process the refund. Following day the manager was not in, was not taking calls or emails, and hadn't told anyone that we were getting the application fee back. Was finally resolved the next day and refund received.

Whoever came to my viewing was apparently a 'cover' to the guy I'd arranged it with, didn't know the flat number, or have the key or code number to get in. Complete waste of my time. Low organisational levels it seems.

We had an excellent experience using Pure to sell our bungalow. From our first contact everything was handled quickly and professionally. Only interested in application fees, not helpful in the slightest having to chase up everyday when was told they would inform me and keep me up to date. One email wrote after full application was put in a few days later, have you paid the £30 fee which was obviously there only concern. Postponing letting to accumulate as many applications as possible.

We completed a purchase through Andrew @ Pure in Norwich this week. It was a great experience.
Andrew kept me in the loop all the way through. I had constant questions which he responded back as quick as poss. The sale went through very quickly as we all wanted to beat the new BTL stamp duty. This was achieved with ease.
I would recommend Pure to anyone who appreciate good communication and a professional manner.

I live in one of their houses almost 2 years now, the only reason I still stay is that I don't have enough money to move out... It is supoose to be non smoking property but everyone smokes in the common areas, someone is stealing my food, and no one is resoecting the common areas and everything is very dirty, we have a cleaner that is supposed to come once a weak but she comes once a month, nothing works as it should and we are 8 people in the house and I hsve called pure countless of times to complain and they always say they will come to help and they do nothing... very aweful agency and they don't care for their tenants, once I forgot to pay my rent for 1 day and they called me 3 times, so when it's about money they care, but when it's about our rights as tenants they are nowhere to be found...

Paid £150 to reserve my chosen flat rental till moving date, have now been told that there is a problem with the flat but offered an alternative fairly nearby. Would have liked to have been offered the deposit back, I should have asked pure for £150 to secure me as a tenant.

Very poor service and demand incredibly high fees up front - complete inability to organise viewings, return phonecalls or accept responsibility for their mistakes. Turned up for a viewing at a property and the current occupants had not been informed, ended up liaising with the landlord/occupants directly in order to get anything done. Will not be making any applications for properties managed by Pure now or in the future as a result.
