Seamless communication throughout the process. I'd like to especially thank Theo who worked diligently throughout the process to keep me informed and answer any questions I had. Yet another agent that doesn't return phone calls, when I chased i'm met with an abrupt attitude and overall disregard for my purchase offer, if I had a property for sale with this agent I would be concerned that they are not getting the best price for it due to the lack of service, sometime an apology for not returning calls is simply not good enough.

Not very good....
Enquired about a rental property which was advertised the same day.
Was told it was too early for a viewing, and that I would be contacted shortly after to arrange a viewing, for a specific time and date. All my details were taken etc...
Waited 5 days, so I called them back, only to be told it had been let a few days ago.
Thanks for making me hold out without even as much as a fone call or an email.....
Seems impossible these days....so another let down of a letting company.
Looks like people mean nothing, and money means everything as usual.

While in the process of purchasing a property through Brown and Co, I encountered issues regarding the legality of the build on the land. As a result, I made the difficult decision to withdraw from the process. However, I was disappointed by the way Brown and Co handled the situation. Despite their own terms, they refused to sell my property and terminated the contract. I found their actions to be unprofessional and childish.

Theo impressed from the first time he showed us around the property that we eventually bought. He was professional, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Very accommodating with arranging viewings, answering queries and chasing up what was needed to secure the sale and purchase.
David valued our house and was also very professional and we felt at ease showing him around our house and very comfortable with his knowledge of property values.

I had a very positive experience with Brown & Co. They are very professionnal.
I was looking for a flat to rent with the possibility to move in ASAP.
I was interested in a flat when I called they told me there was already 2 applications but they would call me if it was not going through the check. I appreciated that Tiffanie called me back (as usually agent would not). Also, as I was looking to move as soon as possible, she quickly liaised with Lesley who was also very responsive and prepared the paper promptly but thoroughly.
All in all, within a week I have been able to move in.

I have recently moved into my new rental apartment, and Brown and Co’s representatives have been brilliant.
From arranging a viewing in a property tailored according to my requirements to assisting me with the whole moving-in process, nothing but professionalism shown throughout my experience.
Particularly Lesley that has pragmatically exceeded all my expectations, and continues to look after both the flat as well as myself!
Probably the best agency that I have come across since I moved in the U.K. six years ago.

It is said that house moving is a stressful experience but, in our case, David Hinton and Theo de Soissons removed most of it in spite of negotiations being conducted close to the September stamp duty deadline.
We chose Brown & Co because of an impressive, measured presentation from David Hinton, who was also on hand on several occasions further along the road with sound advice.
Principally, however, we were superbly looked after by Theo, whose approachability and calmness under persistent questioning from particularly anxious and demanding buyers was impressive. He was prepared to be in touch during weekends when he wasn’t on duty. Difficult to beat that for customer service.

The research he carried out in valuing our property was by far the most comprehensive and considered compared with a number of other notable agents. We dealt with Mason Burrell, who we found very professional and helped us through a very stressful purchase. He couldn't do enough for us, even with regards an issue we were having with our property that we were selling. He was able to navigate the chain, talking to solicitors and other agents in the chain, and find out where the issues were and what state things were in - far better than our estate agent that was handling the sale. Extremely poor service Robert flint carried out 2 rent reviews on 2 properties but both rent reviews were far apart from market valuation, but when contacted for further advise never heard anything from Robert and no one else in the office wanted to look in to the issue or advise further.

I was given a recommendation from my solicitor to use Brown and Co to sell my house as due to ill health I had moved to Lancashire to be with family. My niece did all the phone calls and dealt with Martin and Theo from the Norwich office and true to their word they sold my house for a fabulous price. The quality of information given to us was first rate, the process was smooth, professional and problem free and on a timescale that astounded me. I am blessed to have had such a good team selling my house and making it a hassle free transaction, everything was done when they said it would and the money was in my bank on time and all the worry taken out of selling.
