Useless branch for maintenance after you rent an apartment. Avoid. If you scroll through the reviews you will see, that most are from people, who have done this single review only. 11.8.2018 - Today I have updated my review from 0 to 1 star. This because Knight Frank, after 71 days, finally managed to send a plumber to repair my shower cabin, making it possible to feel like a human being. I hope all you other KF tenants out there are experiencing better response to your flat issues, than I do :)

It started out so good, but quickly sped downhill... TL;DR: They're nice on the way in, but shifty on the way out. THE GOOD: If you're only using them as a lettings agent, Leo Newman are all right (if expensive). They worked with us on the deposit (being new to the UK, it's hard to move money around). They provided a decent flat at an affordable rent (once I counter offered, that is). THE BAD: Leo Newman were also our property management company, so we had consistent run-arounds to get simple repairs performed. They did (eventually) fix things, such as the leak in the kitchen ceiling, but only after an exhaustive back and forth where they ask you to photograph what's wrong. THE UGLY: This is where it gets nasty. When our tenancy agreement came due after a year, they wanted to jack up the rent by 20%. Since the flat wasn't worth what they were asking, we countered with a more reasonable 2%. We were exemplary tenants; never late with rent, quiet, clean, and generally good neighbours. It took them weeks to accept our offer, but in the meantime we found a better flat in a nicer neighbourhood for just a bit more money. On moving in, we paid an additional deposit due to our small cat, bringing the total to £1500. Moving out, we followed all of their conditions to the letter, even to getting a professional deep cleaning. The only hitch was accessing our electrical account, which was paid on standing debit. I couldn't get into the account to show the £0 balance, but did give them the debit as proof of payment. That wasn't good enough, so they've withheld my £1500 deposit FOR WEEKS (this is in direct violation of the DPS, which states that funds can't be arbitrarily withheld and only the amount in dispute can be claimed, NOT the whole amount, and that the landlord has to show cause).

I have used LDG a number of times for both sales and lettings. All of the team have been excellent from the receptionist to the partners. They have detailed local knowledge of the Fitzrovia market and use this to get sales agreed at good prices quickly and efficiently. Ben Everest and OIiver Evans dealt with my last sale and they were both excellent. Oliver went the extra mile in helping out with a couple of things near completion which was greatly appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend.

Pls don’t expect any “service” for those service apartment ... I had an infestation of pest, their answer on Saturday morning was I’ll see you Tuesday morning after bank holiday ... I warm them of a faulty staircase they waited for my friend to fall with staircase, risking his life to actually repair the staircase... if you are not the like of a life adventure please AVOID ...

My wife and I stumbled on this place for lunch at the end of Section 4 of the London Capital Walk. The food quality was high with many vegetarian & vegan options and the prices were very reasonable for such. Though I didn't sample, the beer selection looked extensive and interesting. Decor was tasteful & there we no TVs in the bright, front main section. Recommended. Would love to try in the evening if I lived nearer.
