Carlos and his team did a fantastic job. It was a tricky probate sale where the vendors live in Australia, but they pulled out all the stops to ensure fast and effective communication between buyer and seller. They also chased slow solicitors very effectively on our behalf so we could exchange contracts in just 3 weeks. And then to cap it all Carlos successfully negotiated an early departure by the sitting tenant so that we could complete in only 2 weeks! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

I have never left a review for any company on Google. Given my experience with Hastings, I feel I need to share my experience with potential clients.
It was, without a doubt, the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a property management company. Hastings confused our move in date with another client, continually threatened to relist a property we had a deposit on for no valid reason. We were reassigned to a new account manager. They were less than helpful and even hung up on us then pretended not to be in the office when we called back to ask why we were hung up on.
The only way we were able to secure the flat (it took 4 months) was when I contacted the current tenants to get the Lamdlords contact information. Once I spoke with him directly, I learned that very little of our communication had been correctly communicated. I resolved all questions and got the tenancy application moving.
Upon move in the flat was not professionally cleaned and quite filthy. It was still full of furnishings (we rented unfurnished). A list of maintenance items that would normally be tended to before a new tenant moves in remained unattended 3 weeks into the tenancy (and counting) with no confirmation on when they would be addressed.
Property Manager does not keep us updated and does not respond to emails in a timely fashion.
I highly recommend you let your property through another agency. This is without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had. I myself am a Landlord and would never treat potential tenants in such a fashion.

Absolutely worst service I have ever received from an estate agent. Unhelpful, slow, arrogant and incompetent. Fell victim of their own success - avoid at all costs.
Tried to rent out my flat with them. Took two weeks to respond to email asking to market it asap, refused to take keys on Saturday ("our office is only open for consultations on Saturday"), showed the flat to strangers with zero warning twice (catching me sleeping and in the shower), miscalculated my deposit and rent due back four times. All of this while claiming they are "best in class". Highest price and poorest service.
I have leased an apartment in Mayfair through Knight Frank Mayfair. My initial contact was all by email as I was overseas and my dealings were with Gemma. I described my requirements and then when I was in London I met with them and the first apartment they showed me fitted the requirements I had specified perfectly! Knight Frank and Gemma have a thorough knowledge of the Mayfair area and they know which properties are becoming available even before they are available such is their knowledge. I highly recommend them.
Useless branch for maintenance after you rent an apartment. Avoid. Every broker has access to the same properties. Now they are holding back my entire deposit over £25,000 since end November, despite we only have an issue over £2,000 ????

71 days is how long it took Knight Frank to arrange a plumber to repair my shower cabin, making it possible to feel like a human being. I hope all you other KF tenants out there are experiencing better response to your flat issues, than I do. Never again.
Very professional and helpful staff, Nicky and Joshua K., who helped us settle in after a big move from the Far East. The flat is still not perfect, however, Joshua has been very attentive and helpful in responding to our needs. We are still waiting for a few bits, but the property is what we were looking for, after months of search. A highly recommended agent!
Unorganised awful company
Accepted a holding deposit from another viewer who was able to see it. Spoke with rude members of staff who were all useless. I was waiting outside of the property for half an hour and the seats agwnr didn’t turn up. Was ready to put down offer and deposit yesterday, if Jonathan had showed up. Apparently a junior member of staff who booked it one month from date rather than actual date. Offered pathetic apology and nothing of similar style. Manager unreachable as never in the office. Highly disappointed by this service. You would think that as it is their fault the viewing didn’t go through they would allow me to view the property and have equal opportunity. Never ever deal with Jonathan!!!
