Initial experience is great and very professional but our experience at the end of tenancy was terrible. We were charged around £400 for damages for stuff which was by previous tenants and while some of it was mentioned in the check in report, some of the stuff was never mentioned. Our fault we didn't look in to too much detail in check in report as we had an understanding with the staff at knight Frank maintenance but she left and the new staff Heather didn't budge. She didn't bother comparing check in and check out reports and we had to eventually pay as we didn't want to get in to the hassle. The amounts they charge are over priced, for instance key replacement for the window was charged at £75. Our rent refund calculations were not accounted for and after several polite reminders they looked in to it.

Morgan Randall - Canary Wharf

Tim (Timothy) from the Canary wharf office was the most amazing letting agent I have ever met. Despite being new in the Morgan Randall community, he provides an exceptional service not only with finding the right property for you but also with his "can do" attitude while prioritising your needs. In addition to that, unlike most letting agents, he doesn't build an ice wall between the clients but grasps them with his friendliness and warmth which is exceptional as the majority of the letting agents wouldn't go beyond phone spamming, calling you up many times once you make an inquiry but doesn't go out of their way to actively engage with you to find you the perfect place. Mostly you don't even remember their names. Tim builds the human connection first and then tends your property needs thus makes himself approachable and easy to talk to rather than a phone spammer. It's too bad for anyone looking for a property in Canary Wharf as he will be transferring to Shoreditch office (good news for the ones looking to rent around there). However if you act quick enough, you could get a chance to catch him to find you a new property in Canary Wharf before he leaves for the Shoreditch office.

By far the worst customer service that I’ve ever come across. We have lived in the property for almost 2 weeks now and still have not received the correct keys. They gave us one of keys and told us we had to get more cut because we moved in late! What is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! After complaining there eventually gave us another set but then the lobby key did not work! I was informed by the landlord that she had told them that they had to get the lobby key done by a specialist key cutter, they obviously didn’t listen to a word of that. We currently still do not have keys when I messaged them about it, I was told I had to return the keys because they were a lot of money! You can understand why it’s the worst customer service I have ever come across. They did not apologise for giving us the wrong set of keys they have not said that they are going to get more cut even though it is in the contract. The complete absurdity of this whole situation irritates the hell out of me! That I can’t even get into the property that I’m paying for. But there is more! When we moved into the property of the hot water wasn’t working! It is still not working we have to get a new boiler! They said they checked it a couple days before we move in but the way the company is managed I very much doubt they did. We also have problems with the furniture that is unusable! The table in the living room is completely wonky the chairs scrape against the wooden floor, so at the minute I’m eating my dinner on the sofa. Until my order comes through on Amazon because God knows they are not going to get any new ones. Our double bed in our room has got wheels so every time we get on it I feel like I’m dancing on ice! The shower head is completely screwed! The doors to balcony do not open! I could probably go on for days! Yeah so a long story short you are probably best off not using this company. Save yourself the stress and knew someone else I wish I did.

I had very complicated case which i need refinance from current property to purchase another property with few constraints,however it was successfully completed at the end. I was glad with result. Despicable. They lie on viewings, pressure you into signing and take advantage of any and all weaknesses you have. I was having problems with my health and wanted to move out of my joint tenancy, which they initially said was impossible, then they said with a little more badgering that it actually was but the household didn't meet these insane requirements of how much the household income or guarantor income needed to be, something that wasn't written or agreed to, or even MENTIONED before. Didn't respond to any complaints and are now worming their way out of discipline by the property ombudsman with an email I sent 6 months later agreeing to terms to do with something completely different. I've ended up sectioned because of their treatment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I can only speak highly of the service from CBRE, a service I've been using for over 15 years, across it's range of services, from rentals, to purchase, to lettings, Commercial property and more. There are always niggles in this business, but what sets CBRE apart is their communication skills which highlights their professionality. If there's anything you don't understand, or are unhappy with there's always someone who is willing to assist, explain or rectify any issue and they have always got things sorted. I was apprehensive when Alan Selby was taken over by CBRE, but they've done well to maintain that family business style ethos. I like dealing with experienced professionals and a special shout out to Samuel who has has given much assistance and trusted advice over the years. It's people who make a business and that's why CBRE shine. Thank you !

We trusted CBRE with letting our property, they duly "found" a tenant ( someone known to them was the expression they used). That's where the problems started....contractors allowed into our property without prior consultation or permissions before the tenancy commenced.....7 attempts at writing an inventory after the tenants had redecorated....when you dare to raise your head over the parapet and complain about this you are treated as though you are the problem....at least 4 different people have "managed" our property since February 2015....even though we were told we would have one designated person to deal with.... an auspicious start to what should have been a professional relationship. Tenant eventually left, CBRE organised for property to be cleaned. I returned only to find urine stains on the floor in the house bathroom. I get the feeling from my dealing with staff at CBRE that I was being fussy about finding urine stains on a tiled floor, in a room that had been cleaned. New agent, new tenants but I am having to pay for a professional clean!!
