A great agency and use modern ways of communication. Estate agents can sometimes be stuck in their own ways but Jamie was fantastic and we used WhatsApp for quick updates. It’s such a small thing but it does make a difference when you want to move fast. I had to change some do their T&Cs but they were flexible and accommodated my needs. Highly recommend.

My wife and I successfully sold our two bedroom flat in London this year. Huttons & Partners were our agents, and were absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process from beginning to end. In particular Nick, who guided us through the entire process and was our main port of call. Jamie was also fantastic, who was our initial point of contact when we first decided to put our flat on the market. Unlike the other agents we approached, we felt immediate trust.
Real estate agents often get a bad rap in London, but I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Trustworthy, highly professional, proactive and excellent with communication. If you are looking to sell your flat in London, go with Huttons & Partners. They’re the best.

I contacted Jamie at Huttons & Partners to sell my late mother's leasehold flat at the end of January 2024 after having a second sale with another estate agent fall through.
The sale proved to be a difficult one but Jamie and then Claire and Jinny in the sales progression team worked tirelessly to ensure that the sale remained on track and eventually completed on 27th August 2024.
I would not hesitate to recommend Huttons and Partners.

I went as a prospective buyer at a two bedroom sub-penthouse.
There were some things he could have done better. He totally failed to mention that lease had ground linked RPI. This means that the ground rent could go up perhaps by 50% every 10 years, given the circumstances. He wrongly told me that the ground rent will only go up by 12 months' worth of RPI, eg around 8%. However, in reality, the ground rent will go up by RPI over the whole of the last 10 years, which could be around 50%. The implications are that the lease turns into an AST and the increasing ground rent has an adverse impact on the property's valuation.
He went onto say that this ground rent clause could get removed from the lease by getting a deed of variation. He said this would cost only between £2k and £4k. Again, not true. I know that a deed of variation is very expensive and would cost well over £10,000. The person would have to pay their own legal fees and the freeholder's legal fees, in addition to the expensive premium.

Absolutely unprofessional and rude. Do not trust that their agents can put forward your offer. They have miscommunicated with their landlord which ultimately cost us our potential flat. Do not rely on them in your search and keep your other options open. Even if they make a mistake you will be blamed for it. I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

Jamie is an absolute rockstar. Very professional, pretty much always available and always willing to lend a hand to simplify things. He dealt with the sale of a shared ownership flat sold at 100%. Secured a buyer within the first three weeks, and gave me a precise roadmap from day 1. if it wasn’t for the conveyancing from the buyer which pretty much took ages, we would have managed to stick to it perfectly. My experience isn't alright at all, first have the agent introduce a handy man came in group of 3, while I talked with one the others are damaging the thing inside the flat... well. They asked me to put down £2k for deposit but then play nasty, although it says cash buy but somehow I arrange the mortgage to have surveyor comes, and Jamie refuse to let them do the survey! No matter you are buyer or seller, avoid this agency as possible

Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars due to the nightmarish experience with the sellers' solicitors throughout the entire process. Their questionable practices have made the situation incredibly challenging, potentially necessitating legal intervention, which only exacerbates the issue. While it's true that sellers have the autonomy to choose their solicitors, it's reasonable to expect processes in place to ensure they select reputable ones, especially considering the control exerted over buyers to prevent withdrawal before the exchange.
On a positive note, Nick/Jamie provided exceptional support and assistance throughout the entire process, even extending his help beyond completion. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to others and would certainly engage with them again in the future, terms and conditions apply*.

From the outset I only really dealt with Jamie, always personable and swift to respond.
The sale of my property had complications but I was dealt with courtesy and honesty that eased the more trying moments.
In the end a successful outcome was achieved. For which I am delighted.

The clear & constant communication really helped clarify a lot of things and they were always on hand to help with anything and Jamie went out of his way to ensure that all needs were met.
