Dean, Elaine and team have been wonderful throughout this process: responsive with any queries from us, and in immediate contact with anything we needed to know about; fantastic at tracking and chasing progress and actions needed with all involved parties to make this all happen; above and beyond with sorting out issues we had with our probate property as myself and my brother live at a distance.

I honestly cannot recommend Robert Michael Estate Agents enough. They always answer their phones, and respond to queries promptly. The team are very friendly and clearly very experienced, I would say they've exceeded my expectations of the service expected from an estate agency. I would certainly use them again.

I have been with Robert Michael Estate Agents for years now and I can honestly say that I have never ever been disappointed in there service. I give them a full 5 stars, and no I am not a family member in any which way or form. I am just an ordinary tenant who has been very happy with them indeed. Never have I been let down by them in any way, they are very reliable, honest and very trustworthy in every respect. My landlord of 26yrs now is absolutely fantastic and I couldn't wish for a better one . I have every faith in this company and my landlord too. Oh and the 5 stars I am giving is from a person with an absolute genuine smile . they are also Easily to contact in an emergency too. All of there staff and the people who do all there maintenance work as well are all so very friendly. Like I say I have been a tenant for 26yrs and I will continue to be there tenant , I couldn't ask for a better Estate Agents .

We have been a tenant through Robert Michael's for many years now, after our landlord moved across to this Estate Agent. We have always found RM to be extremely helpful supportive and easy to deal with. We have actually been with our Landlord in the same property for 12 years, and have a great landlord/ tenant relationship. Any issues are quickly dealt with in a professional, speedy manner. You would have to go a long way to find better treatment from an agent / landlord. There is also continuity of staff and we still have the same Agent dealing with us as we did on day one of RM taking over the management of the property. Would highly recommend this Agent.

I have worked in housing compliance and have seen many so called agents. This bunch is a textbook example of shady, profit motivated characters who will say and do anything for profit but have no idea what they are doing and will not move a finger to help if you need anything.

All those 5 star reviews must be from the family members, they have no substance and must be written by estate agents according to language used. Estate agents have even reinvented English language and given new opposite meaning to many words such as spacious, modern and sought after location and many more. Can they ever be trusted, you decide. In the same way I have never met a single honest and genuine estate agent, convincing yes, conniving, definitely, but those traits have nothing to do with honesty, anyone can promise, some more convincing than others but those are the ones to watch out for.
I have been dealing with this bunch a few years, not by choice. Not once they have kept their promise, not once they have been honest.
If you are a landlord with them you are exposing your self to litigation and not only your reputation will be at risk. You will be skilfully overcharged for extremely poor quality work done by family members of this so called family firm, more like a Soprano type family.
If you are a tenant then forget your privacy, your rights, they do not respect property law because they have no clue what it is, they operate on the simple principle - if they have never hear of the law, then it does not exist in their world. If you have any dispute it is pointless.
They are a family firm just like cosa nostra, they will support, cover and lie for each other, and make you doubt human kind, if you have a problem with one of them you have a problem with all of them. They will subcontract any repairs to incompetent family members and make sure they rip off the landlord in a very gracious way that he will almost feel grateful.
If you are a tenant they will own you and make sure you know about it, because they will make your life miserable if you dare to dispute anything of claim your rights, remember they decide their own rules and do not adhere to any laws.

So yes all in all it is a great small family business they all can smile and sound very professional, as long as you do not ask for anything and agree with all they say, pay for your own repairs and be grateful they to be their tenant they will be good as gold.
Those who left 5 stars just one question, was smiling all you needed because anyone can smile, look :)
Mine is a genuine verifiable review after years of experience, I have seen and dealt with many landlords and agencies, I tend not to leave negative reviews unless it is absolutely necessary and in public interests like it is in this case, the choice is yours but you do not have to suffer there are plenty agencies who actually are compliant with consumer rights, do your own research before making a mistake, I never chose them it was a transfer of property so I inherited this nightmare.

I ha ve used Robert Michael a couple of times over the last 10 years and have never had anything less than A1 service. I originally used them as my parents bought and sold through them some 30 plus years ago, they are a long standing and well regarded business in the local community. I’m not someone who is easily impressed, however I give credit where credit is due and I would not hesitate to recommend Dean and his team for both estate agency and rentals having had personal experience of both sides of the business. Keep up the good work!

Amazing service very friendly and professional and will always go out of their way to help you the best they can. When I moved into my flat the previous tenants hadn’t had the carpets cleaned or the oven cleaned so they had this done ASAP the also had the hallway walls painted as there were a lot of scuffs from previous tenants. On leaving the flat they returned my full deposit even though there were a few scuffs to the walls and explained it was general wear and tear.
To the guy with the review terrible review about deposit back... it is stipulated in your contract that the carpets and oven has to be PROFESSIONALLY Cleaned as do contracts for all their tenants and if this isn’t done then the fee for hiring people to do this WILL be taken from your deposit... that is why they take a deposit.
This is not a reflection on them as estate agents and are in forcing the contract for the properties they are leasing on behalf of other people.
As said above they are professional, friendly and all around lovely people. Would and do recommend them to everyone!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS ESTATE AGENT THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, AND ALSO WILL CLAIM ANYTHING THEY CAN FROM YOUR DEPOSIT, THEY COULD NOT GET ANYTHING AS ALL THE PAINTING AND JOBS THEY ASKED WAS DONE SO THEY PICKED UP A TINY BIT OF CLEANING, AND ARE NOW TRYING TO CLAIM IT OUT OF THE DEPOSIT.

Can’t fault Dean and his team. His valuation was spot on and sent numerous viewers. Even did a couple of the viewings when we were busy.
During the sale of our property they went above and beyond including chasing solicitors and the other estate agent, to minimise our stress.
Fantastic service for a comparatively small, fixed outlay, very friendly, professional and efficient throughout our dealings.
Don’t get ripped off with other agents charging up to nearly 2% (note they don’t include vat either). Dean was completely up front and at a price that even shocked our solicitor who said it was a long time since his bill was higher than the estate agents.
