Agree with the below reviews- had repairs dryer, shower and heaters that require fixing since last year! Daniella always making excuses. Had no bedroom heater throughout winter. Shower remains unfixed.
Daniella is so rude and unhelpful. I’ve emailed and called she hangs my calls and doesn’t reply to me emails!!
I’m not even sure if the repairs have been communicated to landlord.
Tenants please stay away not worth the worth the stress.

They are trying to get £350 deposit amount from us which damages not made by us, made by perious tenants. Also they said everything okey after check out, send us report via email. But after 14 days waiting, they decide funny reasons to get £350. Do not trust that company, take videos of every single part before move in and move out like us(including blind and any small scar). Very very disappointing experiance...Also during my tenancy when we try to reach them always listen their voice records.... Read more

Save yourself the hassle and avoid renting though this company.
We had numerous major problems with our apartment from a dodgy drain in the shower, horrible neighbours with noise, and issues with central heating meaning we had to sleep on our sofas some nights, we contacted sherwood on many occasions to get the issues resolved and none of them ever did. Thankfully our tenancy has ended so we have left now, been in contact directly with our landlord instead of using the letting agent and she has informed us that she wasn’t aware of any problems because sherwood didn’t inform her!!

We have just rented for 12 months with problems from day 4 and today we have just spoken to our landlord who didn’t know of the 6 problems we reported just under a year ago from human waste coming up the shower to issues with noise from neighbours

As many others have stated, highly unprofessional and absent.
Very quick in arranging viewings, but never actually following through on the actuality.
Myself and several others turned up to view the same property. I was viewing at 1, with other people's viewings taking place in 15 minute intervals. (1:15, 1:30 etc)
There was nobody there to receive us, and ringing various customer service numbers led to voicemail.
One of those who'd came to view the property was given an incorrect apartment number. The lady living in said apartment was mortified at the sight of 10 or so people standing outside her front door.
After all of us trying, we eventually gave up and went home. I was lucky I had another viewing closeby, but others had come from quite a distance only to be stood up. A lot of cost on public transport bearing no fruit must have been frustrating.
Please avoid and just stick to reputable chain agents if you can.... Read more

Last week, I called and asked to view one of their properties at Holland street- the lady told me she would give me a call back right after but she never did. Then came the weekend so I had to leave it. I tried to get in touch for the past 2 days, but no one was picking up, nor did anyone bother to answer my voicemails. I finally got through and asked to view 2 of their properties- 1 on Holland street and 1 on Vivan Avenue, to which they responded saying I could view them today at 1:15 and 2:30. The whole day went by and they failed to contact me. Today morning, I rang them around 15 times as I urgently needed the information in order to figure out my transportation. After sending several automated messages saying they could not reply, they then messaged me with the 2 addresses and timings of 12:15 and 12:30 (which was different from what I had been told on the phone yesterday). I let that go and left in a rush to make it to the viewings even though this was not the time they had told me the day before.
When I got to the first viewing, there was no one in sight and I waited for around 10 minutes before calling them because I was worried I would be late for my next viewing which was just 15 minutes later. Finally, someone picked up and said in a slightly irritated tone that she was unable to answer calls as she was in an appointment. Though understandable, it is shocking that the entire agency is operating through one phone number and if one person is busy, no one else is able to communicate to their clients! There was a failure to communicate that they would be late and I was left waiting for a good 15 minutes. I finally viewed the place and the lady said her next viewing was with me too so she should wait for me. I went to the next address and waited for a good 15 minutes and realised they had given me the INCORRECT ADDRESS. I rang them and told them that I had a viewing at Vivian Avenue but they sent me an address for St Anns Way. The lady immediately snapped rudely and when I tried explaining to her that it had been a major inconvenience, she said "well what do you want me to do about that now?" I was so taken aback by her tone and comment as this is no way to speak to a customer. I replied saying "you do not need to be rude to me" and she said "well you're being rude to me." I don't know how telling her that she had inconvenienced me by sending the wrong address was rude, however, as I went onto say "I'm sure you can appreciate how poor the communication has been on your end-" she HUNG UP. Absolutely shocking and vile behaviour. I sent them a message saying that there was no need to hang up. She didn't reply or acknowledge it, nor did she apologise- she simply sent me the address. Frankly, it's quite embarrassing and immature because if you cannot carry out adequate and polite customer service, why are you in this business? I did not go to that viewing because I would rather not waste my time and energy dealing with rude people that do not know how to carry out a service.
I wish I knew their names- unfortunately I don't. However, I know that there are only 3 people working in the agency right now so I would advise you to stay clear of all of them as they all seem incompetent and incapable of politely communicating with customers.... Read more

Problem after problem throughout our entire tenancy. Staff can’t resolve anything, every problem we had, including a damp and mouldy flat had to be resolved ourselves. Tried to charge £120 from our deposit for paint, even though there wasn’t a mark on the wall (that wasn’t already there). Now we’ve moved out and they’re opening our mail that has been delivered there and won’t return it. Honestly, save yourself a lot of stress and rent from a different agency.... Read more

Coming into my third week with a broken shower and limited response from the agency. 3 months with a broken fire alarm.
Combined with squatters on the top floor occasionally flooding the apartments below with parcels that are left outside going missing. Worst agency I've been with my 13 years of renting... Read more

Very unprofessional. communication, if I can even call it that, is at the lowest point possible with me having to initiate almost everything from contracts, to move in dates. They only respond quickly when money is at stake. If there is no financial motive they will ghost tenants for days. They are very quick to start sanctioning tenants whenever possible even for their own mistakes.
Generally, this company is a group of the most money hungry, incompetent and lazy people I have ever had the chance to know, unfortunatelly.
We were promised a move in to a flat for which we paid up front on October 7th, it is now November 5th and the employees are ghosting our emails for 3rd day now (3 working days in a row). Each week they postpone it by a week, this will be the 5th week now.
The manager herself even messaged us barely 2 hours before one of the scheduled move ins 2 weeks ago when we were already on a train on our way to the promised flat that she can't make it for whatever reason she just made up, wasting a lot of our time, money and just generally acting like we are nothing more than dirt to her, not even worth a 2 minute email to let us know that the property is not ready a day prior.
Do not let or sign a contract with these people under any circumstances unless you seek financial loss... Read more

Booked a viewing for some flats available to rent in west bridgeford, was very easy to book and staff seemed nice, an appointment confirmation email was sent to me with the time and date.
Although when we arrived to view the property no one showed up, we called several times, left voice mails and emails but after half an hour of waiting we realised no one was coming.
