We cannot rate Simpsons in Burton Latimer high enough, especially Karl the Manager. They went over and beyond in terms of coordinating solicitors and keeping us informed every step of the way. Professional, kind and honest. Totally changed my opinion on Estate Agents!!

We initially found a house we really liked through S&P while contemplating moving and selling ours.
Once we felt the house was right after viewing, we discussed the option of obtaining a valuation from S&P.
I found them to be very engaging, informative and experts with knowledge of the market and how we can consolidate buying and selling with ease with just one estate agent.
All the colleagues I engaged with were friendly and very helpful, especially Kerrie, Helen, Karl and Peggy.
We managed to sell and buy our new home and complete within 10 weeks and S&P definitely helped with this to make it stress free and easy.

Very professional and kept us up to date. Were extremely sensitive to a difficult situation but managed to keep everyone happy. Couldn't be more helpful if they tried. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they sadly recommend Premier Property Lawyers who sadly let the side down. I think Simpsons should consider recommending somebody else, there are plenty of decent local firms they could support.

It was a refreshing experience to deal with both Josh and Claire from this office. They were both professional, patient, knowledgeable and and very personable. One of the key requirements for any buyer or seller is good communication and this is where they excelled in particular. We are very grateful for their help in securing Mum a new home. Will definitely recommend.

Myself and my wife bought our first house through simpsons so when they told us if you're ever looking to sell to use them as we would get a good deal. So when it came to selling our house, they were decent in what percentage they would take, wasnt great, but it was ok. Our house went on the market just before covid hit. Tom at the time was looking after us, doing the majority of the viewings. Though our house had room for 3 cars on the driveway people were put off by the amount of cars on the road, (we were in lockdown everyone was stuck at home, there would be more cars parked on the road), in the end we had an offer, we accepted, but then 4 hours later it all fell apart. They never vetted the buyer. So the house goes back on the market. So we have a few viewers, but simpsons never give or tell you what they thought, you were constantly ringing them for feedback or news.
So a few weeks pass during lockdown, simpons tell us that an investor wants to the buy the house so they can subsequently rent it out. We were told that they were ready to go, mortage was in place, everything sorted. The house we were buying had no chain. So that's no chain above us or below us. Simpsons tell us if we accept a little less on the house things would move quickly and everything will be done a dusted within a month, 2 months max.
But the investor company hired some awfull low leveled solicitor firm in Kettering for the conveyancing that it dragged the house sale out for 5 months! Simpons never bothered to chase the solictor firm or the buyers because they were scared of them. They were petrified of this rubbish solicitor firm. So the house we were buying the seller almost pulled out of selling to us, due to simpons incompetence to tackle the issue. In the end we had to pay the offset costs to the seller of the house we were buying to keep them Sweet and not put their house on back on the market. As we kept assuring them the house was going through, because simpons were telling us it will go through any day, we heard that for about 2 months. Simpsons had no idea what was going on because it turns out nobody bothered to chase it.
Turns out Tom had left (or fired, who knows, he was a nice chap). So we almost lost our dream house because of the lack of communication and their cowardice to chase the buyers and their solictors.
I always told myself I would never use connels again, but I'm afraid simpons in Burton Latimer will be added to that list. You got to do better guys, sort your communication out and don't be afraid to chase people, your being paid alot of money. Honestly this time you were not value for money. So in the end we sold our house far cheaper than what was advertised, on the say so of simpons and then we had to pay extra costs to keep a seller happy, because they were too afraid.
2 stars because we got there in the end. Sorry I would never use your firm again.

We have dealt with Josh on our purchase and he has been absolutely fantastic. The viewing was organised within a matter of hours. Josh was very knowledgeable about the property, the local area and has obviously studied the finer details to be able to answer any questions we had. Josh has been efficient, friendly and incredibly professional throughout. Josh dealt with my queries and concerns very well and was happy to help at any point in the transaction.
I could not recommend Simpson and Partners enough and thank you to Josh in particular!

Jemma and Tom Chapmen are both as useless as each other. They blank calls, lie to increase offers so they make more money.
Throughout a house transaction early this year they lied stating there was a higher offer made and we should think about increasing our offer. This was after our offer was excepted and a week before we exchange contracts.
There was never a higher offer made and this was only brought to light when the seller came to collect post after the sale went through.
Since this has happen I’ve been telling family and friends what has happened and they have heard similar things too and people falling for it and increasing their offer, I didn’t fall for it.
I will never use this estate agent again and if you are thinking about using one I’d advise going else where.
I would give a 0 star but 1 is the lowest

We bought our house originally with Simpson and Partners and had a very good experience so we chose then to sell our house. They were extremely professional from start to finish and our property was on the market quickly. Within days we had several views and an offer which was great. Throughout the process Simpson and Partners (especially Tom) kept us informed on the sale of our property and helped deal with all of the issues that arose quickly. Tom is friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We would recommend Simpson and Partners and they were by far the best Estate Agent in the chain.

Terrible!
We put a offer in on a house we liked ( a very reasonable offer might I add) to which Ian Wood said he would put forward to the vendor . We heard absolutely nothing back so we tried to chase Ian up by phoning to which we were told we would get a call back . We have heard absolutely nothing since which is so unprofessional!
LEGALLY all offers must be put forward to the vendor ,I do not trust Ian did this at all. Of course I understand houses come and go in the buying market that’s all part of the process but you would of expected a courtesy call at least.
We have a call log of the the times we have tried to contact Simpson and partner regarding this. All of which has been fobbed off or ignored.
I feel terribly sorry for the poor people who have paid good money to sell there house with Simpson and partners , ignoring and not communicating with potential buyers is absolutely terrible .
You only have to look at the Kettering branch reviews also to see there awful reputation ... saids it all .
