I don’t normally write a review but I felt people should be aware of the service which I received from slater hogg. My brother and I registered looking for property with slater hogg in newton mearns. The staff in the Ayr Road office where very unhelpful one woman in particular was nothing less than rude to me on the phone and would not listen to what I was saying and was talking over me. I then viewed a house with them and felt they tried everything to put me off the house however I offered and missed out at closing date. I then found out that the offer had fallen through so I called the office to find out if this was the case but they where very unhelpful and never ever got back to me and it was sold to somebody else. I then viewed another property with them and they tried to put me off this one again, I wanted to offer but was told it was sold to a developer the very next day. It was almost like they where doing everything in there Power to prevent me from buying from them. They were very abrupt and short on the phone almost to the point of being smug. Worst experience I have ever had dealing with this office the staff are rude the lady at the viewing was rude and negative. When I did eventually purchase a property through them I went in to pick up my keys and the lady was was so rude no smile just said sign here and have u got your ID and without saying anything handed me the keys. No smile or congratulations or anything. I am now looking to sell some of my portfolio of properties but I would never consider using slater hogg in newton mearns because of how they treat people. I have dealt with clarkston and East Kilbride slater hogg office who are always more than helpful but this office the staff have a very very bad attitude.... Read more
