Each member of staff we dealt with could not have been more helpful or more knowledgeable about the housing market in our area…..Newton Mearns and Rouken Glen. Their daily contact when selling our former home was greatly appreciated and Daniel’s quick intervention enabled us to procure our present home. We dealt chiefly with Cindy and Daniel and less often with Gaye and all encounters were so reassuring and of a personal interest in us.
Moving house IS stressful and Nicol did everything possible to reduce this…….we would recommend them most highly and would ask you to consider placing your buy/sell business with this professional, caring and efficient company.

It’s taken me 6 months since our move to get round to writing this, which isn’t great considering the EXCELLENT experience we had moving with Nicols. Arlene, Gaye and Daniel dealt with both our purchase and sale.. and the sale of other houses in our chain.
Daniel lead with the initial visit to our house prior to putting it on the market and couldn’t have been anymore helpful and supportive. We were delighted with the quality of the marketing materials and virtual tour video. We had 35+ viewings which Arlene organised seamlessly for us, and even undertook some of the viewings on our behalf when we couldn’t. Gaye lead with our purchase and was happy to progress queries and contact between us and the vendor. Arlene gave me regular updates on how the sales chain was progressing and it was such a blessing to have Nicols as the lead contact for all the sales
I felt quite sad not getting to chat with the team after the sales successfully concluded and keys were handed over. They became our friends during the whole process. Recently sold my house with Nicol Estate Agents and Arlene was absolutelly great. Lined up a raft of interested parties and ended up selling to the 2nd person to view the house. Arlene was always on hand, doing twice daily check ins with us to see how viewings and everything were going. Once house sold was also on hand to be 3rd party between ourselves and buyers which helped us organise the sale of a few other bits and bobs from around the house.

At the outset our intention was to obtain valuations from three agents. We selected Nicol first on the basis of two things - the quality of their website and the rate they sold other properties in the area. After an initial discussion with Daniel Cohen we decided to look no further. It would be hard to fault the team on any level. First an excellent brochure was produced.The photographer was highly skilled and thorough, even returning to improve on poor outside images affected by recent light snowfall. Daniel drew up an excellent plan layout and sent a draft of the whole brochure for our approval before printing. Gaye and her colleagues provided excellent support throughout the viewing process, remaining in almost constant communication, always following up and promptly informing us of viewers' opinions and likely offers. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nicol as agents, and indeed have already done so in response to an enquiry from a former neighbour. I could only wish that the agents we used in our ongoing purchase would emulate the Nicol standard.

Possibly one of the lesser known estate agents in this area but we were impressed with their service when selling our house. Brilliant personal interaction and they operate as a team. The photographs of our property were really good and they made up a great sales brochure. Our house is now sold but if we had to sell again we would use Nichol without doubt.
