Having been bequeathed a property in Scotland, when I no longer live there, could have been extremely problematic. However from the first contact with Claire and then Gareth, who assisted throughout the whole process, I could not have wished for a better outcome. The house survey report, the EPC, marketing, pictures and drone pictures were all organised by Gareth - this was all undertaken via telephone discussions with Slater Hogg. Continual contact was maintained throughout the process. I always felt that Slater Hogg valued my business and due to the circumstances (me not living in Scotland) I believe that Claire and Gareth went beyond normal expectations to overcome difficulties that may have arisen due to the distance between me and the property.<br>Slater Hogg and Howison have been exceptional and I would not hesitate in recommending them to others and to Gareth I would say thank you - I truly appreciate your efforts on my behalf.

Stop hassling me! I made an enquiry with getagent to compare local estate agents. Over the next 18 hours I received three calls from different people at SHH. The most recent one saying "you requested a valuation, let's get you booked in". Erm, no I didn't and I don't appreciate being hassled and gaslighted while I'm having my breakfast.<br><br>01 October update: @Lucy, responding to your reply, why are you asking for me to provide details? You know my name and if you have a half-decent CRM system you should be able to identify who called me and when. Why do you expect me to do the work for you when I no longer care about giving you my business?

I used Slater Hogg to market and manage a flat rental for around 12 months. Communication was consistently poor. The branch and wider teams seemed unable to coordinate, leaving me to chase basic updates repeatedly.<br><br>Even my formal complaint required repeated chasing. The case is now closed and I received some compensation, but there was little accountability and no meaningful apology. I would strongly advise other landlords to look elsewhere.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.<br><br>I had a viewing booked for today at 4:40 PM. I arrived around 4:30 PM and waited outside for approximately 30 minutes, but nobody showed up.<br><br>I then went to the office to find out what was going on. The staff there called the person who was apparently supposed to be handling the viewing, only to be told that there was no viewing booked for me today.<br><br>What makes this even more frustrating is that I had already spoken to them about this viewing beforehand, and I also received a call from them this morning confirming that my viewing was at 4:40 PM today.<br><br>So I travelled there, waited outside for half an hour, and then had to go to their office myself just to be told that apparently there was no appointment. This was a complete waste of my time and extremely frustrating.<br><br>If you can’t manage your own viewing appointments or communicate properly with customers, at least have the professionalism to let people know rather than making them travel and stand outside waiting for someone who isn’t coming.<br><br>Very poor communication, organisation and customer service. I would seriously think twice before dealing with this company.

Horrific experience, 15 years in property letting and I never experienced such a poor level of service before. Not responding to emails or phone calls, stop paying rents without notice or explanation, they seem to think Tenants were their clients when I was the one paying their fees... Totally unprofessional

I had an excellent experience with Slater Hogg Bishopbriggs. From start to finish, the service and communication were outstanding. A special mention has to go to Kim, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. She kept me informed every step of the way, was always quick to respond, had a clear strategy and made everything feel smooth and stress-free.
Overall, a brilliant service and a genuinely positive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and effective estate agent.
