From start to finish Slater Hogg West End made things really easy for us. Special shout to to Aidan! We initially contacted him in 2022 to sell our house but had to postpone due to planning our wedding. I contacted Aidan again in 2024 and he remembered me immediately. They are nightmare . They don’t care extremely unprofessional. Had an appointment with them and after that no email no contact . They are not picking up calls for days . If don’t believe call there office . I have seen there staff chatting all day and laughing but not picking up calls . It’s a complete joke . Extremely frustrating and disappointing. Don’t waist your time with them you better go another property agent .

We had a wonderful experience in securing a rental property with Laura. With the current competition we had a few disappointments of flats falling through, and our having a dog added to the difficulty. After viewing a property with Laura though our luck changed and everything moved forward smoothly - she was really friendly and easy to deal with, and helped us to negotiate with the landlord. I was not living in Glasgow, so they had to find tradesman when there was any problem in the flat. They did it, and prices were always fair.
If you live away, choose the "all inclusive" package for renting, worth the small extra fee to avoid headaches.

Aidan and Lisa did a great job of marketing and selling our flat, with the sale just finalised today. Their help and advice was particularly vital as we live more than 3 hours drive away from Glasgow and could not be present for viewings etc. At the start they advised on the presentation of the property and at the end organized the clearance of furniture and other items not wanted by the purchaser at short notice. Tried on numerous occasions to find an email address to ask a couple of questions, then having failed to be able to do that, sent their feedback form, which the web site said couldn't be delivered, tried putting in the address of the house, which came up automatically to find a branch, the web site said couldn't locate the address, tried putting Glasgow to find a branch and it says none in Glasgow. Very frustrating, will go to another estate agent that has a user friendly web site and allows email contact

I viewed a property and was called for Feedback afterwards by Elaine, although it wasn't for me she listened to my requirements (which were quite specific) and assured me that she would 'find me something ideal'. It was my first conversation with her but she did call me a few days later with basically exactly what I was looking for. I was very lucky as we got the apartment and got the keys only today. I only viewed two properties in total during my search and the second as Elaine promised was perfect for me and what I was looking for. Terrible experience with Slater Hogg & Howison. Arranged a viewing. On a day it was snowing but we still trekked through the weather to the property to view. Arrived before the viewing time. No one at the property. Waited until viewing time, still no one at property. Called the staff member arranged viewing with us. No answer. The answer phone simply went straight to 'beep' with no recorded message whatsoever. Called the branch. No answer. Waited for another 30 mins at the property, tried many more times ringing the bell and calling phone numbers. No answer at all. Extremely unprofessional!
My partner really liked the property, so she tried getting in touch again by going to agency's official website to request a new viewing. Never got any reply. Extremely unprofessional!

Recently let out a property in Fort William through Slater Hogg Lettings on Byres Road. Despite the distance the team did a fantastic job organising the rental of the property. From start to finish I had a new tenant within 3 weeks! Fantastic effort from Natasha in particular who was swift at coming back to me and managed to get the property let whilst I was on holiday. Would highly recommend!

The lady I dealt with was lovely very friendly and professional, certainly knows her stuff!! Maybe I've been lucky but every time I have needed to call the branch if she is not available she always gets right back to me or one of her colleagues offer to help. Can't really fault

Complete lack of professional, kindness, problem solving skills, assistance, you name it. They never pick up the phone and you have to go to the office just to realise they always are available and there is no reason why they don't answer the phone. If you have any problem can be sure that it's not going to be fixed until one or two months. They have withdrawn a monthly rent from my bank account when I was no longer the tenant and I'm still waiting for refounding.

Tried to book numerous flats through this agency- but they would not answer any calls and when we tried to go into the office they were not very helpful and incredibly disrespectful. I would strongly advise against this company.

Avoid this letting agent as possible as you can. Totally unprofessional !!! I had a bad experience with them.
You can try by your self but I don't recommend this office at all. I could do a half star if I can.
