Brien and the team at Snow Walker are exceptional. Purchasing a period property, or any for that matter, is labelled as a stressful experience.
I'd disagree with that on the basis that if you have the right professionals supporting you, it's a breeze. And that's exactly how Brien and the team make you feel.
I first commissioned Brien in Autumn 2023 for a full survey and it didn't disappoint. Your report will include everything you need to know and more. You'll then get their expertise to ensure you've interpreted the contents correctly and feel armed with the right knowledge.
He dispenses facts with ease and has been so responsive to any questions. So now feels like the right time to mention the service. In a world of fast transactions and non-human service, every firm can learn a thing or two from Snow Walker. It's personal, it's consistent and reliable.
Don't even think about appointing another firm, if you're reading this, you've found the best of the best. I should know as I'd already worked with another surveyor prior to finding Brien. They're in a league of their own. Work with them.

Snow Walker Surveyors provided an excellent service. It was very reassuring knowing their extensive expertise in dealing with period properties. They were quick and efficient in organising the survey and provided a detailed room by room account of their findings. A bonus was finding out about all the history of the place, fascinating. I contacted them again, speaking with Mr Walker, about what I perceived to be a fault with another property, my home. I would highly recommend Snow Walker if you are considering a survey on any type of property. Communication has been easy and efficient from start to finish. Timescales for completing work has been swift and reliable. The finished report was detailed, enlightening and more than we could have asked for. The follow up service has also been above and beyond, with what otherwise may have been a tricky purchase! Thank you to the whole team (but especially Brien!).

Brien, Michelle and the team at Snow Walker made the whole experience of organising a survey easy and even enjoyable! Brien has a fantastic wealth of experience and knowledge. The survey took place within 2 weeks of booking and we received a very comprehensive report within a few days afterwards together with some very helpful phone calls to expand on the information provided. I would highly recommend to anyone purchasing a listed building.
