As a professional in this industry I think the biggest mistake people make when selling their property, is that they choose the brand, opposed to the person that is actually going to be dealing with what is one of the most stressful experiences we go through in our lifetime. This is why I chose Claire, at Bairstows. Claire is conscientious, empathetic, efficient and above all somebody who genuinely cares about her customers. Unfortunately we were in a chain with Miles and Barr, and I can honestly say that they were the complete opposite. I could go on for hours about how bad Miles & Barr were; but this review is to say how fantastic Claire and her team were. Fantastic service from both Maria and Clare. We went into the branch to inquire about one house and Maria also mentioned another about to come to market. We viewed the house, which was lovely and made an offer but were beaten by a better offer. Undeterred, Maria contacted us the next day and told us the good news that she had negotiated with a one time potential vendor on the same street, and that they were happy to bring the house back on the market. Clare arranged that I could view the house, immediately after she had valued it, and then ensured that my wife was also able to see it the same day. We put an offer which was immediately accepted and so we are now headed to our dream house. Thank you so much Maria and Clare for being so proactive.... Read more

We used Bairstow Eves for the sale of our property, not only did they sell it on the first viewing, I cannot recommend the team enough especially Claire and Michael. They came back to me so efficiently and quickly putting me at ease the whole way through. I think it is so hard to find an agent who is proactive and good communication and Bairstow Eves ticked every box for me. Claire the manager is caring, compassionate and excellent at her job. Bairstows was the only agent that called us about properties and pro actively rang ours out and let us know about new properties coming up. Myself and my partner have been renting a property through Bairstow eves for 2 years now. We have recently bought a property but would like to say that Chance and Carina were amazing throughout our 2 year tenancy. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and if we needed anything they were always so quick to sort it out! Lovely ladies and so good at what they do. Compared to others, Bairstow eves in Folkestone has been our favourite estate agents and we would highly recommend others to go through them in the future as from our experience I can almost guarantee you will never come across any issues or problems. very disappointing. we decided to see some apartments but the agent did not want to respond to the mail or messages after the first meeting with us. it was simpler to say that she does not want to help us or that she does not like our face. and also i told her, we work and we have all the documents, the only disadvantage is that we are not British citizens.
