Sam Spence is a very good agent. I used him after some of the bigger agencies failed to sell my mother’s house in Mortlake. Sam clinch a deal and held onto it throughout a turbulent housing market. I then used him to sell my flat in north London which we have just completed on. He got a great price and got the job done. I’m very impressed. He has good people skills. He is a lovely and intelligent chap. Great communication and acts 24/7. He is alot more hands on and experienced than the bigger agencies who tend to use less experienced staff to sell once a contact has been signed. I've worked with a few really good estate agents but Sam is a cut above the rest. I was buying a property through Sam and even though he was representing the seller I felt fully supported by him all the way through. His aim was to make sure everyone was happy with the deal which can often be something that is overlooked. There were a lot of problems and hurdles that arose through the purchase and Sam remained on top of it throughout, he kept a cool head, was the voice of reason and got stuff done - which I appreciated even more given none of it was caused by him! Sam was the agent on our house purchase. The whole process took over 6 months and was a rollercoaster (kwasi budget impact, markets, renegotiations, missing documents, etc). Sam was transparent and pragmatic (the adult in the room!) while listening to both side’s concerns. He remained patient and worked tirelessly to find solutions. He selflessly made himself available 24/7 which was very helpful for working professionals. We found him very personable. Without his efforts this purchase would have fallen through. Even after the purchase was concluded, he made himself available for issues we encountered. He knows the Richmond/Sheen/Kew area very well and we highly recommend him. Moreover he has all the contacts (eg solicitors - we went with his recommendation when we had to switch solicitors - which in hindsight we should have done from day 1). Keep up the good work Sam!... Sam is diligent, honest and reliable. Unusual traits in estate agents based upon our experience. After multiple agents with little or no progress Sam worked hard to get viewings with people who were genuinely interested in our property. We sold and then completed in June 2022. I'd recommend Sam ahead of any of the agents in the area. He also stepped up and supported the purchase of our next property without hesitation and provided some great advice as part of the process. Great experience selling our house with SPENCE! We initially put our house on the market a year ago with one of the big estate agency chains and really felt that we fell through the cracks. We re-launched our house in the new year with SPENCE and what a different experience it was! A completely personalised and bespoke service from start to finish. Unlike with other estate agencies, where you meet the senior people only at valuation, Sam, the director, was involved in everything from being around when the pictures were taken to doing the viewings himself and sorting out the sale after we accepted an offer. And it really showed in the results - the pictures were fantastic, we had several offers after the first weekend of viewings and everyone in the chain felt well looked after during the sale. He even found us our dream house in the process. You can tell that Sam has a wealth of experience in the industry but he is also a very nice, approachable guy who constantly and tirelessly walked the extra mile for us as well as for our buyers.
