The house was characterful and provided loads of space for our family which comprised 5 adults and 4 children whose ages ranged from 6yrs to 70yrs. There were many rooms to allow us to have "escape" rooms during the stay. The house had good facilities. The garden was also massive and allowed the grandchildren to enjoy the space it provided. They found the campsite an added bonus. The big hit was the swimming pool which was used every day. The depth of pool was ideal for everyone to swim and play. As with all families we had many devices linked to the WiFi and we never encountered problems with its reliability. The house was situated close to Canterbury and had a lovely view over the field to the cathedral. Close by within a short drive were the seaside towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay which are definitely worth a visit. Bloom staff were very helpful and responsive with any queries we raised which allowed us to enjoy the holiday and rest.... Read more

Cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh is in a great location; close to the station and the town is lovely. The cottage has very little storage and few hooks to hang up coats/dressing gowns etc. Also some dangerous elements such as an eye level hook outside the bathroom door which is a health and safety hazard. Also, we had a really bad start to the trip due to the cottage having no thermostat, meaning we couldn’t turn your heating on (the owner controls it). Although it’s June, this summer has been very chilly and both muskeg and my 75 year old mother were freezing after a long and stressful train journey. Stay Cotswolds couldn’t/wouldn’t help at all and stated that they merely market the property and that any issues have to be dealt with by a third party (the property managers). After almost four hours the property managers came to turn the boiler on but in the interim their communication was very poor, abrupt and rude. When I stated that I felt cold I was told that I wasn’t. Very unprofessional. Also, due to there being no thermostat we had to have the heating on ALL of the time.some of the radiator thermostats didn’t work so we couldn’t adjust the heating that way. It would just make sense to install a thermostat as the property advertises that gas central heating is included. (I had to cover the dangerous hook with scotch tape to make it less of a hazard).... Booked Brook cottage for a gathering just before Xmas as we had a party near Eynsham that myself and my family were attending. Thought we’d make the weekend of it and have a proper family gathering in a gorgeous cotsworlds cottage, costing us for 2 nights nearly 1K for 6. For this price tag I was expecting a bit of luxury which, as beautiful as the cottage and surrounding were, luxury it was not. The cottage itself is gorgeous although compact. The Kitchen, well equipped, but lacked the niceties I would have expected, we had salt but no peeper. Just the basic tea and coffee that had been left by previous guests, nothing else. A tiny amount of kindling for the log burner and hardly any logs, the fire had a not been cleaned and the screen was black with tar. The beds were gorgeous as was the bed linen, but the towels were small and very basic. The TV in one of the lounges did not work and the internet was intermittent. There wasn’t even a bar of soap in the upstairs toilet let alone any other toiletries and no hand town in the downstairs loo. As we were attending a party all the ladies wanted to do their make up and check their appearance, which was very hard to do with only one hand mirror in the whole property, plus one full length mirror that was the back splash of the shower. I was very disappointed and don’t think I’d use or recommend anyone using this company. It really was just the little things that had absolutely not be thought through what so ever. Saying that the housekeeper was very communicative and accommodating to our early check. If your staying here, be prepared to bring absolutely everything. I wish I’d book a few rooms in a luxury hotel instead. If these issues were resolved it would simply be outstanding.... Read more

Had a fantastic experience with Stay Cotswold from start to finish. Communication and booking was easy and quick. The property in Fairford was beautiful and in lovely condition. We could tell that they'd thought of the finer details, like providing a fan (necessary for the July heatwave!) and Google smart speaker. Modern amenities in a traditional Cotswold cottage, very comfortable and homely. Communication with our point of contact was faultless. We did have an issue with the bathroom sink that started leaking, but the problem was resolved the same day and didn't disrupt our plans, so absolutely no concerns from us there. Thanks for a great holiday stay. If my partner and I return to The Cotswolds in the future, Stay Cotswold will be our first port of call.... Read more
