Both Jordan and Kirsty have been so helpful to us during our search for a home to buy. We found a property we were hoping to secure but had a property to sell meanwhile. Jordan kept in contact with us weekly to see how things were going and was then able to provide that feedback to his vendor and help keep the channels of communication open. We had the worst experience with Stephen and chancelers carterton. At the moment we are submitting a complaint and if not satisfactory will go to the ombudsman. We were told all viewings were vetted. Total joke. 4 out of 7 viewings in 3 weeks were not even on the market.was told no.need for open day. 2 weeks waisted on an offer of buyers who were not on the market. Signed in to 24 week contract without it being made clear. Was told" what do you expect me to do if there is not interest". In 7 days with a bank holiday in middle connells had an open day.10 viewings. 3 offers. 2 were asking price which was 10.000 more than chancellors. incompetent and arrogant. Stay clear. Would give no stars if I could

He was absolutely excellent at getting a grip of the situation, having a very honest conversation about what the best strategy was with the sale and pricing accordingly. I met the Senior Sales Manager Mr Ian Henry at the property and he was polite, professional and friendly, keeping up the required Covid _19 conditions that we all must respect., His introduction to the property showed that he had done his homework, and Ian could answer any of our questions with ease, to reassure my family, and whilst my daughter was unable to visit on the first date"to pick her room" Ian has kindly arranged a second visit to make my entire family happy with the move and subsequent purchase. I can only comment on the sales team in Carterton office. The communication is shockingly bad. They struggle to return phone calls and its very hard to get through as people are frequenly 'not in the office'. They struggle to answer to questions about a property or have a clear meaningful conversation with buyers about their situation and expectation which is very bad when you are in the chain. They just come across like clueless people who run around like headless chickens. Their feedback is very poor based on some repetative questions and it is mainly aimed at the seller to reduce the price as soon as possible. They are very pushy at that. Very disappointed with the service.

Me & my partner recently purchased our first house with Chancellors and it wasn't the greatest of experiences however it did end well.
First of all we had viewing with Simon who we both thought was very unprofessional, rude & had absolutely no idea on any questions that we asked on the first few viewings on the property and whenever we asked him to find out this information, we would never hear anything back meaning we would then have to chase, and chase for answers and would argue with us when we then got through to him.
One day we rang to do just that, to find that Simon had moved to another store, we no longer had a main contact at Chancellors and we had no idea who to speak to, when we did finally find out who to contact, they then left in a matter of weeks, we AGAIN didn't know who to contact, we rang up numerous times asking who we need to speak to, at this point Ben took over our purchase, and he was very helpful and answered our queries and helped us in every way we could and he took us all the way up to completion along with the assistance from head office, this ended our experience with Chancellors on a better note, i just wish we had dealt with Ben throughout the whole purchase.
For us, Ben has single handedly saved this from being a one star! Ben, Thank you.

Me and my girlfriend are first time buyers and weren't really sure of the whole process of buying a house. Liza showed us a couple of properties and was really knowledgable and answered all of our questions. Liza was happy to show us properties at short notice which was very helpful with our work situation and she was very punctual at reply to any emails we sent. We are in the process of purchasing a house through Chancellors. After quite bad luck with other estate agents in the area, it was refreshing to find one who seemed to have a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude. We dealt with Liza mainly, who showed us around many houses and some multiple times. She knowledgeably answered all of our questions and had a fast turnaround on anything we needed whilst always staying friendly and cheerful.

My partner and I actually contacted initially on a property but were informed it was SSTC. We dealt with Liza and she took the time to ask what it was we were looking for (very specific requirements) and took my details. Within 30 minutes she had sent me afew properties and one took us to book a viewing on it later the same day. She manage to liaise with the vendor and magically make this happen, good job to.
She had great knowlege of the area and the property and showed us around. It went so great we decided to put in a offer late that evening. With a little negotiating the house was agreed to be sold to us and we cannot thank Chancellors and Liza enough.

We tried low cost on line services initially but these were not successful due mainly to the low potential of viewers to effect a purchase and the unusual individual features of the house. I only gave four stars as we didn’t buy or sell a house with them so I cannot judge on the whole thing. However when it came to viewing house they were very quick and easy to arrange. Just bought a house through them, and found all staff I dealt with (Simon, Liza and Ben) to be extremely professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Nothing has been too much trouble for them, even post-sale, which is impressive. Ben really helped move things along when the chain stalled a little, and his communications have been great at all times. Liza and Simon were very knowledgeable and professional when showing us around a number of properties, and offered follow-up for more detailed questions.
