From the 1st contact late one evening Steve was brilliant took the time to take details of the my property for sale when really I'm sure he wanted to go home. I then dealt with Ben who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He assured me that we would sell quickly and get lots of footfall and he was not wrong. Super communication and very professional. I could not be happier with the service I have from Connells in Carterton. From not having moved property in 26 years I felt very overwhelmed with the whole process. Steven and Lottie in particular were incredible at getting my house on the market. Went through all the facts, figures and a plan to sell quick.

After just one viewing in the same week of going on the market we accepted an offer and reserved a brand new home. We also had no idea about the mortgage services Connells had, we have used the same financial advisor for over 20 years but Connells proved that they could help save me money and they have certainly lived up to that. Richard has been brilliant with us and made my small re mortgage very affordable.

They have been giving me regular updates on the sale of my house. Anyone looking to sell a property then I’d recommend Steve and his team at Carterton for sure.

I visited Connells in Carterton as I was looking to get some advice in regards to buying my first house. I’ll be honest, I didn’t have a clue about mortgages and it all seemed a bit daunting. I cannot recommend Connells Carterton enough! Ben was absolutely amazing and I can’t thank him enough. He was able to talk me through everything and made it so simple for me. I also sat with Richard who was again, so helpful. They offered outstanding customer service and I felt like I was in safe hands! I will definitely be using Connells Carterton in the near future for all of my mortgage and house pursuits.

Whilst getting off to a slow start this was vastly improved with the appointment of Ben and Alicia followed shortly after by Steve. If you are looking to purchase your first property, you are in safe hands with the sales team here. Although I didn't end up purchasing through Connells, I am thankful Alicia was able to do my mortgage for me. She's incredibly knowledgeable with explaining each process of buying a house and all the different products that were available. Alicia is very honest and made sure we didn't pay over the odds for things- even negotiating our offers on our behalf. She's quick and nothing has been too much trouble- this has included searching through credit reports to make sure are mortgage was approved. I could not be more thankful for making this stressful time a hell of a lot easier as from working in the industry, many others wouldn't go to the lengths Alicia has. Thank you!

I am a first time buyer and I went to Connells to help me find my perfect home not knowing alot about buying and Mortgages. Alicia was so helpful in giving me all the information I needed and making it easy to understand my options for Mortgages. So I would firstly like to thank her for being so helpful and informative. Ben is the agent that I have had most of my contact with and I couldn't of asked for a better person to help me with my first time buy. He is polite, friendly and not your typical salesman, he is honest and has helped me understand the buying process and helped in finding my perfect home. He hasn't tried selling me the first property I see and get the quick sale, he has let me take my time and not keep chasing me up and rushing my decision. I write regarding the service provided by Beth and Luke. I came into Exeter office seeking to rent a flat in the area.I met with both the individuals mentioned and I found them both to be welcoming, professionally friendly and very informative.

Through all my dealings they both always presented in this way when i telephoned one of them was always available and always as helpful and informative as possible. I also point out that I was regularly contacted by Luke in keeping me informed with all necessary developments.

It was also noticeable that whilst always being as efficient as possible, if Luke was ever uncertain regarding a question or piece of information then her would immediately refer to Beth who was always competent in addressing any issue. It was noticeable that Luke worked efficiently under Beth's professional guidance. All of their work successfully enabled me to complete the rental of a property.

The work of Beth and Luke was positive and professionally very competent but it always carried with it a professional friendly approach.

I finish by saying I would recommend Connells in Exeter through the work of Luke and Beth in the Lettings Team.

Absolutely useless. The Oakham office closed a few weeks after we engaged them with absolutely no warning. This was not due to Covid-19, it had already been planned for some time. It left us with advisors who had no knowledge of our sale as the only remaining person that had dealt with us was furloughed. We were never kept up to date with our buyer's position, who was extremely awkward to say the least. It seemed most of the time they were working for him and not us. The chain or buyer's funds were never verified and the only reason the sale actually completed was because of an intervention by our solicitor. I really begrudge paying Hurfords at all, they provided absolutely nothing helpful to the process other than putting us on Rightmove
