This agency lies to people, makes them wait for a week, send all the proofs of income and other info about ourselves and then let in other people without any notice. Only to wait like a fools for confirmation and figure out from online ad that let was agreed for other people, not even bother to call us... Read more

I tried to rent a flat in Newark but my hard efforts was useless. I have waited 13 days and I got no answer from them. Also you MUST be in employment. But they aren't interested to say this before application process. You will provide sensitive personal info for them and you will get nothing back. Like why to ask for sensitive personal info, holding deposit if I am not in employment or you aren't going to rent a flat anyway after all? Absurd. If you can afford to wait 13 days and be left on the ice after trying to make kind, honest deal, you will like them.... Read more

It is the best estate agent that I have never seen in Peterborough.Whenever I called,they fixed everything in my flat.They always were understandable to everything..Amazing landlord as well..I was 4 years with them and I need to say compared to all the other estate agents,there is a huge difference.Also,independent estate agent so they need the best support ever!!.I was before with the chain estate agents and they were very bad and they were trying to keep the deposit.Last, Stead Property t does pre visit checks at the end of tenancy which I have never seen to other agencies, in order to help you to keep your deposit!!!!... Extremely poor customer service! Never answered his phone when we called him up for any problem. Tried to take 1/4 off our deposit money, when we ended tenancy contract. The whole business is run by one man. Very unprofessional! Even 1 star rating is too much.... Read more

BECAME A TENANT WITH STEAD PROPERTY IN 2015..AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS.IF HAD ANY HOME ISSUES THEY ALWAYS DONE ASAP.COULDNT ASK FOR A BETTER LETTING AGENT. IM HAPPY AND SAFE,IN MY HOME BEEN HERE 2 AND HALF YEARS.GOT BRAND NEW DOOR THANKS TO THEM.ALWAYS.MAKE SURE MYSELF THE TENANT NEEDS ANYTHING DONE THEY DO IT. Very very poor customer service.. rung to inform them I was running slightly late due to road closures and traffic..
