We didn't have the easiest journey (no fault of theirs) with a few difficult buyers but we got there in the end. Constant communication and updates and every member of the team are friendly, helpful and polite. Would recommend!

Chris, Stuart and the team were amazing - always returned calls and did what they said they would do. Excellent marketing pack and photos were the best. They sold our home on the 2nd viewing and the whole process was stress free. It is such a great benefit that they have a local office where you can pop in and have a chat if you have any queries - thoroughly recommend Pennells to help with your next move !

Jacob understood exactly the type of property we were looking for from our the first meeting. He suggested multiple properties that matched our criteria and were available for viewings, making our experience so much easier because we didn't have to spend hours trawling through properties sites anymore. He was able to book the viewings at times that suited our needs and accomidated our every request. 9th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)I can’t recommend Woodcock Holmes enough. Right from the first enquiry they responded quickly and came to view my property within a couple of days. Rob (Manager) talked me through his recommended asking price and the reasons for it, showed his local knowledge and wasn’t the least bit pushy. Adrian (Manager) has been great too with polite, non pushy calls and email communication. They found me a buyer within two weeks of listing with them.

14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Mislead information. Was advised that if an offer for a house was accepted, the property would be taken off the market ‘subject to contract’.<br>This wasn’t the case. Even though we got as far as having the proceeds with the underwriters and paying fees, the property was still available for the public to ‘outbid’<br>Just became a waste of time.

6th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)A few times they didn’t get back to me after a viewing which was annoying. They wanted me to drop the price as the market had gone quiet (Christmas time). I declined and when market picked up I sold my house just under asking price.

Even went the extra mile for me when my house purchase was unexpectedly delayed and extended my tenancy which took away a significant amount or worry and stress. I highly appreciate her efforts to search home for me considering my daughter is about a year old without much struggling. Excellent cooperation all the time I have had an issue related to property. 12th Sep 2026 (6 days ago)Very disappointing experience with the mortgage advisor.<br>Unfortunately, I was not happy with the service or guidance I received. I felt the advice provided was very limited, and there were not enough lender options presented to properly compare the market.<br>The prices and rates offered also seemed high compared with what I was able to find by speaking to other mortgage companies. I expected a mortgage advisor to provide a wider range of options, explain the differences clearly, and help find a competitive deal, but I did not feel this was the case.<br>After comparing the options with other companies, I found significantly more choice and better alternatives elsewhere. Overall, I was disappointed with the level of guidance, the limited lender options, and the prices available. Based on my experience, I would recommend shopping around and getting quotes from several mortgage advisors before making a decision.
This agent doesn't have any reviews- 2nd Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)I don't usually leave reviews, but having worked in estate agency myself and bought and sold several properties over the years, I feel I'm in a position to provide an informed and balanced perspective.<br><br>I chose Sharman Quinney on a fee of around 1% plus VAT, and unfortunately the level of service I received didn't justify that cost.<br><br>From the outset there were communication issues. I repeatedly tried calling the branch but couldn't get through. When I visited the office, I mentioned this and was told the phones were working. I then called the branch while standing there and none of the phones rang, clearly showing there was a problem. I was told it would be looked into, but I never received any follow-up.<br><br>When valuing my property, I was told there was already a list of potential applicants who may be interested. However, as far as I could tell, those applicants were never contacted. Instead, the marketing appeared to rely almost entirely on Rightmove and Zoopla rather than proactive matching from an applicant database.<br><br>Communication throughout the sale was disappointing. It was often difficult to get calls returned despite leaving voicemails and emails. Viewing feedback was another frustration. Rather than being contacted promptly after viewings, I regularly had to chase for feedback myself, sometimes waiting several days without hearing anything.<br><br>I was also disappointed with the handling of negotiations. We accepted an offer, only to discover around two weeks later that the buyers were still actively viewing other properties. The negotiator was aware of this but didn't make us aware before we accepted the offer. Had we known, it would have influenced our decision-making.<br><br>The communication with buyers also appeared lacking. When the buyers requested a second viewing, we declined because we no longer wished to proceed with them. Despite this, the buyers still arrived at our property at the agreed time, suggesting our decision had not been passed on.<br><br>Once the property was on the market, there was very little proactive contact from the branch unless I initiated it. As a client, I expected more regular updates, even if there had been nothing significant to report.<br><br>My final concern relates to security. After taking the property off the market, we collected our keys from the branch. We were not asked for any identification, proof of address, or even our names before being handed the keys. Given that these keys provide access to someone's home, I found this extremely concerning and below the standard I would expect from any estate agency.<br><br>I appreciate that buying and selling property is a complex process and that not every sale runs smoothly. However, my concerns relate primarily to communication, proactivity and basic procedures rather than the outcome itself. Based on my experience, I wouldn't use this branch again and hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the service for future clients.
