DO NOT BUY FROM STEWART MILNE! AVOID!! The houses at this development are poorly made and rushed. The workers onsite are great guys and do try their best if they're called to your home, however, the Stewart Milne customer service and support, once you have moved in, cease to exist. They will not honor their website statement to fix any issues raised within the first two years, several homes at this development were ignored or refused remedial work. The awards you see on their website are not for this region, this development is ignored and poorly managed. The management for this area have on several occasion lied directly to customers, thankfully the community is small so everyone is able to talk about issues and provide proof to the lying managers for this development. They will lie and ignore every request for remedial work to be fixed, they will only action something the NHBC legally tell them to fix.... Read more

It is obvious that nobody wants these homes due to the amount that are for sale! The awards you see on their website are not for this region, this development is ignored and poorly managed. Terrible customer service, do not honour 2 year snags "guarantee" will avoid work and repairs. Insulation in the houses are mediocre, expect to pay a few thousand pounds extra, once you buy to carry out repairs and properly insulating your house, as Stewart Milne won't do it and don't care. Your emails and calls will be ignored for several weeks/months and once the 2 years is up they push you to the NHBC who can't really do much to help. Avoid buying a house here!... Read more
