Galbraith Galashiels, are the letting agents for the property that i was renting recently, in Galashiels.
From the onset, i have found them to be very professional in carrying out there duties, and have been friendly and attentive, to any requests that i have made over the 2 years or more,of my occupation. The initial validation of references, was very thorough, and the initial inspection, and signing of the lease, was done easily, made very simple, by friendly staff. During the letting period, they have conducted regular statuary checks of the premises, ensuring a safe place to live. There have been several instances of maintenance that have been carried out, without any prompting or requests from myself, to improve the property. On my departure at the end of the tenancy, i found the staff to be very helpful, and i have always been happy for them, or any of the trades that required entry, to do so, without me being present. Refund on over payment of rent, and deposit, were quickly paid back into my bank account. Both Yvonne Keddie, and Ashley Hogg, have been exceptional as representatives of Galbraiths, and i would not hesitate to recommend the company in the future.

Rented through this agents for over 5 years. This company was very good to begin with though but over the time we were with them they became rather rude. As a tenant we had a responsibility of reporting any faults. We were good tenents and always payed out send on time. Annual inspections were fine and always reported faults and communicated with them. They were unprofessional in many aspects when it came to certain communication and approached ourselves at times with very little sensitivity and sometimes a little rudeness and sometimes really rude and personal rather than a neutral professional and respectful approach.
They also seemed really scared of many of their clients who owned the properties.
