AVOID THIS. I recently rented a property through Taylor’s and had a very disappointing experience. During the renting process, I specifically asked the agent multiple times whether all utilities were included. Each time, she assured me that they were. Even when I received the contract, I asked again to confirm that utilities were included, and once more, I was told that everything was covered.
However, after moving in, I was informed by the landlord (who lives nearby) that the internet was not included. When I approached the agent, she simply pointed to the contract and explained that the internet wasn’t part of the utilities. This was extremely frustrating because she had never mentioned this crucial detail during the contracting process, despite my repeated questions.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that, even in the contract, the definition of utilities clearly includes electricity, gas, water, and internet. Now, I’m stuck in a six-month lease, but all broadband plans in the area are for 18 or 24 months. Who is going to cover this extra cost? Had I known from the start that internet wasn’t included, I would have reconsidered my options and possibly rented for a longer term to align with the broadband plans.
I’m left questioning if this constitutes some form of deception, as the agent deliberately withheld important information to mislead me into renting the property. It feels dishonest and manipulative, and I strongly urge others to avoid dealing with this company. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

We have rented a property from them on Caspian View and It has been more than 4 months without a working lift(5 floors every day with kids, shoppings and necessities), stabbings, drunken people, drugged people ,parking issues, no cctv, no landscaping ,neighbours dogs doing there no 2 sand 1 s on our terrace and no privacy because we still don’t have a separator!! plugs and many other things missing(since February‘24), no heaters ,raining in flats.
All the mentioned above are breaches of our tenancy agreement and nobody should have to put up with it . We have been paying full price for rent for all these months and we really shouldn’t.
Plus ..we can’t even move out because it’s pretty much impossible because of the lift situation wich is very unpredictable..
You can thank the manager KATIE AMBLER for us reconsidering our feedback.. She has been very helpful and supportive during our tenancy in this flat and done everything in her power to make it better.

Where do I start, apart from my opinion of estate agents has massively changed during our recent house sale/purchase. We've had bad experiences in the past, with agents seemingly content to lie, cheat and fluke their way through property sales.
Well, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, Taylors are not like this! Calls are answered, when messages are left, they return your calls. People are knowledgeable, thorough and seem to actually care about their jobs AND their customers. Special mention to Rob and Chris, who handled the majority of our case, although there are others who have assisted and have also been wonderful. An absolute credit to the industry and will 100% be our go to for future house moves, although we've said we aren't moving again now after Taylor's found us an absolute beauty of a property!
Do not hesitate to use Taylor's, they are fantastic!

A very, very irresponsible agency with an extremely poor experience, never recommended. A series of utility accounts were opened without authorization before moving, and bills were issued. What’s more, the deposit should be returned was delayed for month without refund.

Avoid. Terrible management of the property I'm renting.
The lift has been out of service for 2 months now.
I have a window that is stuck shut (and has been since day one). Someone was supposed to come in and fixed it numerous times, but of course nobody ever showed up.
All windows make a loud cracking noise (loud enough to wake me up at times) numerous times a day when the temperature changes. All I got from the agents was "We know what noise you mean". Nobody ever showed up to fix it.
Intercom hasn't been set up yet, I don't think it ever will be. I'm not even mentioning the state the flat was in on move-in day.
I kept reporting all those issues but there is no point anymore, nobody cares. The landlord doesn't feel they have a responsibility, and Taylors are happy with the current state of things because they get the money regardless.
My advice would be to rent with someone else.

Worst, third class, cheap service by them. They scam in the name of cleaning. We have to keep sending followup mails and call multiple times to get our deposit back. Even then, they took almost 3 months to return it.

I will not use these Agents again as they do not look after your property at all. Their management service is so poor my tenant resorted to the Housing council and things have got worse.
Dealing with repairs, council, and the agents have been a real nightmare.

Living above a flat managed by Taylors has been a nightmare. The bedroom window of the flat below has been sealed with just a piece of cardboard for years, and despite numerous complaints, the landlord/Taylors has failed to make repairs. This negligence has not only caused us significant emotional and health distress but also a persistent and disturbing drilling noise, which the building management blames on the broken window. For the past four months, our life has been unbearable due to Taylors' lack of action. It's disheartening to deal with such a money-minded business that shows little concern for tenants, topped with an insensitive staff.

**AVOID THIS ESTATE AGENTS**
After one year of private renting with Taylors I can confidently say I will never be using them again.
They simply do not care about the property they are meant to look after and manage. Any issues you report they will disregard them completely. I had to report them to my local council due to the unliveable conditions they had put me in.
Contacting them is pretty much impossible. They do not answer phone calls or reply to emails.
After my tenancy finished they tried to charge me hundreds of pounds in cleaning fees. However I had the property professionally cleaned like they had advised me to do so since having pets. Even when I provided them with the invoice they still charged me a smaller fee for cleaning. The property was left in a much better state than what it was in when I moved in. Taylors expect the property to be perfect when you leave but is far from that when you moved in. They will do anything to not give you back the full deposit.

DO NOT RENT WITH TAYLORS,
We rented for 1 year with Taylors. Once we moved in we realised we had no heating and no hot water. We informed Taylor’s and their response was “Well you’ve signed the contract now, you can’t leave’”. For six months we fought to get our hot water and heating fixed but they would just ignore our emails and calls. We had to resort to contacting the private sector council who would force Taylors to take action. Temperatures inside the house would not go above ten degrees and that’s with the heating on for a numerous hours. Once you’ve signed the contract with Taylors they will no longer care about your well being or the living conditions of the property they manage.

A 5 star review for our mortgage advisor Curtis Green. We were first time buyers and didn’t know much about the process, Curtis was extremely friendly and professional from the start, helping us a lot along the way. He was there to answer any questions we had, even if not directly related to his services but the process with solicitors and kept in contact with us often. He also called our solicitors to chase the progress for us without us even having to ask and updated us on a weekly basis. We switched to Taylors from another agent after failing to find a buyer for our home. We had lots of viewings but still didn't find a buyer due to market conditions. We then switched to lettings and the first family to see it made an offer.

We used Taylor’s to find a property to rent in Milton Keynes. They were amazing at first then went downhill very quickly. Emails and phone calls went ignored, this went on for months. We felt very let down.
Then Nikolina returned a call, suddenly everything changed. Not only did she apologise for us being ignored, but then went above and beyond.
My partner and I have relocated to Yorkshire and Nikolina has been in constant contact, to make sure our ending our tenancy, went as smoothly as possible. A big thank you to Nikolina for your hard work and outstanding customer relationship.

We rented for 2 years through Taylors Milton Keynes and I would have to say the overall service from them was average at best - and I think that stems largely from them being part of a large Countrywide network in which the individual tenants appear to sit at the bottom of their priority list. On a slightly more positive note, I sensed that things that have improved since Katie became the new lettings manager in MK.
However, I am actually writing this review because I want to give credit to Trinity Frost who is the Property Manager based in Northampton. Trinity was an absolute star - in fact I would go as far as saying she is the best Property manager we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in more than 10 years of renting, both in the UK and overseas. She was always responsive to our requests, dealing with all issues in a positive and proactive way and would follow up with us to ensure everything had been addressed to our satisfaction. We always felt valued by her and cannot speak highly enough of her levels of Customer Service!

Do not rent with this agency. They are incompetent, unprofessional, they don’t respond to phone calls and not only did they take 5 months to return my deposit (which I had to chase relentlessly with weekly phone calls) they also came up with a ridiculous reason to not repay the full amount. I have never had this issue with any other property I have rented and I’ve been renting for the past 8 years. Avoid at all costs.

Abigail was great - fast-acting, ready to do whatever needed to be done to keep the processes involved in moving moving! After a pandemic it can be difficult to 'keep things moving' because the processes in many systems are affected by staff shortages, backlogs and delays. Taylors like everyone is dealing with this new normal and they are doing a great job to deliver brilliant customer service.
Also thank you to Alice. Alice explained everything that needed to be done. Alice got a viewing organised at high speed and in this post (mid?) pandemic climate, speed is sometimes the only way.

At first Taylor’s seemed helpful. They arranged a viewing over the phone and said they would ask the landlord if they would accept pets and that they can still arrange a viewing for us.
We did not receive any form of confirmation until my partner called up the next day to find out our viewing had not been booked on the system so they put us in for another one.
When we went to the viewing, the landlord was friendly, no issue with them. The agent gave us their card and told us to email them and that she would get back to us the next morning to fill out forms to be considered. My partner and I emailed straight away as we got home after the viewing. We didn’t receive anything from the agent the next day. My partner tried calling several times and couldn’t get through so decided to send another email.
Two days later, the agent eventually came back on email and said sorry the landlord has chosen someone. We don’t have any issue with not being chosen, we are annoyed and frustrated that the agency messed us around twice. First, messing up our viewing then giving us their card to email them to provide us forms which they did not do. They could not be bothered to reach out to us to let us know that we were not chosen and there is no need to fill out forms. We only found out because we kept on chasing.
Completely wasted our time!

Lying, unprofessional, uncontactable. We were forced to provide our personal data including sensitive documents following our offer being 'accepted' to then be told actually the property is being sold via auction. Absolute nightmare dealing with Taylors. Do not trust. Avoid. Much better experience using more professional agencies in Milton Keynes to purchase a property. As a buyer, I would NEVER trust Taylors in the future and would urge sellers to avoid.

Not a trust agency, just arrange with one of them to visit a property. I left my house 30min early I had to take my infant with me struggle him for nothing. The agent didn't turn up, he also didn't unswer to his phone. 0 Stars for this kind of people.

From the very beginning awful customer service, impossible to reach them, everything takes ages to sort, gave away a flat covered with mould, took months to repaint it, gave zero information about the flat, electric cupboard, water or gas meter location, no information about bin collection, 9 months later still waiting for a fob to be able to access to the electricity meter, been promised to be looked up, nothing happened, neighbours complaining about the same issues with them, left us with water leak and flodded flat for days, if you go with them you can only count on yourself unless you frighten them with the ombudsman, worst experience I ever had, cannot wait to move out...

The absolute worst. Disappointed I couldn't leave zero stars. They would send me eviction notices without first asking if I wanted to extend my lease. They then kept my deposit for a flat I had left absolutely spotless and for a chip in the kitchen tile that was there when I moved in. Ignored me when I appealed. Absolute crooks. Avoid at all costs.

Around a month ago I got in touch with Taylor’s looking for a place to rent. Mel dealt with me and my partner from start to finish helping us secure a lovely two bed home with a quick move in date. The service we have received from Mel and James at Taylor’s letting has been phenomenal. Their kindness and support made the move into our new rental property hassle and stress free, two things we all know moving can be. Taylor’s really went the extra mile for us! everyone we have been in contact with were extremely professional and friendly by far the best letting agents I’ve been in contact with.

My family arrived UK in early Feb. 2022. In the afternoon on 10.2.2022, I noticed form the Rightmove Apps. that there was an apartment flat in Milton Keynes that was available for rental. I then called Taylors Estate Agent. A letting negotiator (Ms. Melanie Lugsden) answered the phone. Ms. Melanie Lugsden said she could arrange our viewing of the flat on 11.2.2022. My wife and I were so glad to know that Ms. Melanie Lugsden could arrange the viewing of the flat so quickly. We really appreciate for Ms. Melanie Lugsden for being so efficient and helpful. When we first saw Ms. Melanie Lugsden, she was very nice, polite, caring, wearing a very good smile. This made us very comfortable and safe. During the view of the flat, Ms. Melanie Lugsden explained very detail about the flat, and recommended us to make a quick decision if the flat was OK as the flat would go very fast. For the reason that this was our first time of viewing a flat in UK, it was not until the morning of 12.2.2022 (Sat), we let Ms. Melanie Lugsden know that we were OK for the flat. However, Ms. Melanie Lugsden said, the flat had gone. When expressed that we were so disappointed, Ms. Melanie Lugsden said she had already found another apartment which suit us, and could arrange our viewing the flat on 14.2.2022 (Mon). We were so happy that Ms. Melanie Lugsden is so nice, caring and efficient that another viewing of property could be arranged promptly. When viewing the flat, Ms. Melanie Lugsden again showed her proficiency by explaining everything in details. All along, Ms. Melanie Lugsden is very polite, nice, patience, caring and proficient. As my wife is not good in English, Ms. Melanie Lugsden especially showed her caring and considerate and kindness to my wife. This make my wife feeling very safe and secure to a strange environment. We both really appreciated for this. As the flat which is so good and suit our family, we placed a holding deposit immediately. After going through the whole renting process, we moved in the flat at late Feb., and managed to settle down. My wife and I would like to give our special thanks (from our heart) to Ms. Melanie Lugsden for her being so nice, caring, polite, patience, considerate, proficient and her tremendous effort in the whole process. Without the help of Ms. Melanie Lugsden, we could not find this apartment flat that we like it very much. Ms. Melanie Lugsden is really our Angel who light up our life. Harassing! 5 times they have sent us letters after we put our house on the market with another agent a few months ago. Our house SSTC 3 weeks ago. Since I received 2 letters. The last the wording in the letter I thought was rude and unprofessional “ Ive written to you 5 times and I still haven’t heard from you!” After 5 letters I thought they would of got the hint I’m not interested, and shows they don’t do their research before sending letters.
This has confirmed I would not and will not use them to sell my house in future.

The guy had an issue with my pay check and I told him it was a joint application he was making fun of my earnings and keep on going on and on and was laughing on the phone please don’t use these people as they are very unprofessional and don’t even answer there phone you have to ring them for like a week before they pick up

I had an awful experience with Taylors, as a landlord. One member of staff who was assigned to me, went on holiday for approximately a month and had no out of office e-mail, with no member of staff directed to contact. Other members of staff never called back or e-mailed when said, and I was left to chase for the majority of my time with them. Lastly, they pushed responsibilities to myself to deal with, providing very minimal support.

The guys at Taylors are such a great team. I personally had Millie. She is always so positive, knowledgeable, helpful and really brightens up your day!
She arranged my entire move for me and I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating agent.
The professionalism and quality of service extends outward to the wider team and even to the Taylors Cleaners.
Ann and her cleaning team were absolutely incredible. They literally went above and beyond my requirements and I could not have asked for a more thorough job.
I also actually felt safe and comfortable with having them in my apartment without me being there too, which is not a preference I would normally choose.
I would love to have them back throughout the year.

I have interacted with 3 separate agents. One of them was alright, with the other two completely ridiculous. On top of the fact that I had to call the office 20 times until they answered, they simply don't get back to you. You email? No reply. You call them and leave a message? No call back. You get in touch with them, give them your details and they promise you to call you back? You won't hear from them again. I had to call them for 3 days straight to get a hold of a virtual viewing (they promised to send it and then simply didn't), and then 2 more days to ask them to book the property. In the end, I was casually told the property was let. Thanks a lot I guess, it's famously hard to send a text.

SCAMMERS ! Not to be trusted , scammed £288 from us .
We booked a property viewing with them in Milton Keynes on Saturday 15 May 2021 and went further with paying the deposit to secure the property on the following Monday but on Wednesday they called us to tell us they’ve given the house to someone else .
And since then we have yet to receive our refund of £288 for the deposit . We been calling their phone numbers since but nobody picks up.
We want our Money Back !!!????

The sales team at Taylors went above and beyond on our sale. The agent was the only person in the entire chain who communicated with us and the sellers. He took full responsibility for the entire chain, communicating almost daily with all the buyers, sellers and chased all the conveyancers for months to ensure things weren't forgotten.
Without him holding the chain together it surely would have collapsed. Even working over the Christmas holiday while on annual leave to keep things progressing.
If we ever sell or are asked for recommendations I will always say to go with Taylors.

I called about a property that was up for rent and was told that they will send me a video of the property 'immediately'. I waited, but having received no video, called again and was told the same thing. I waited the rest of the day but got no video. Called again but no one picked up. Called again the next day and explained the situation to someone else; they took all my personal details and told me they will send me the video right away. It's now 3 days later and I've received no response. Safe to say I won't be contacting them again.

*LANDLORDS AND TENANTS BEWARE*
These clowns advised me that a reputable contractor was attending the property for repairs they have failed to carry out for well over a year period. This was a problem of when it rained outside, it was also raining inside our conservatory.
I was then surprised to be verbally abused by the landlords who turned up with their mate who was asking me how I think it should be repaired.
There have been no periodic inspections of the property so they are unaware of the disrepair in the property and equally don't know if I've trashed the place.
Avoid at all costs as a landlord or tenant.

Having recently been through the process with Taylor’s of buying a property as a first time buyer I can say the following. The service desk team I.e Ankit and Mitchell are exceptional and provide wonderful service.
However my experience was ruined by Guaruav Sharma, he was not helpful,unprofessional, rude and very hard to get a hold of.
He would often lie to me so that I would use his service and when I informed him I wouldn’t be using him anymore he started making rude unnecessary comments. His behaviour needs addressing and his wholly unacceptable, I have dealt with many brokers but by far Guarav is the worst I have come across.

It was clear from the first phone call I placed with Taylors that they are committed to getting it done.
I had phoned with the intention of viewing the property the following day but Bailey told me she could organize a viewing within the hour as the property I was looking at was hot and wouldn't stay vacant long,she believed that a few checks on my behalf could see me habited in days(yeah right)
She was right..I had the keys within a week.
So nice to do business with a lovely young lady that has a head to get things done.thank you again for all your hard work...you need a pay raise.

The staff at Taylor’s Estate were absolutely amazing , they literally made our experience feel like we were about to make a flat not just somewhere to live but somewhere to call home. Bailey Bonner was so amazing durning the viewing, she talked about how kind our landlord was and that added a little more touch to the experience. Cypress Canavan walked us through our contract and every paper work like a professional and explained everything to us which helped a lot. Kyle Rankie was helpful as well , coming along with us to the flat to ensure that everything was in place. Like I said before the staff was absolutely amazing.

I had an appointment booked in for 1o.45, waited for half hour after making a 2 hour journey from London. I called the estate agent who then informed me that "someone would be on there way". Very frustrated and in a rush to get to work I asked I'd they could come to the property as planned, she then suggested I wait for half 5mins. I explained the importance of getting back to work, and she then said she will be there in 5 minutes. Another 15minutes went past and I called back. no one came. At this point I realised she was wasting my time. We will not be using this company for the sale of our current property due to their incompetence and lack of integrity.

I am very upset by the services provided. Firstly, we arrange a viewing on last Thursday and perhaps there are some miscommunication around where we should meet the agent was not at the reception as we are. We were waiting at the gate for 45 mins trying to get hold of her through the center (because we couldn't contact the agent directly as part of their policy) but all we get is to wait. Finally, we decide to leave and I call the center and found out the agent left because she only allocate 15 mins for us (very sufficient for the viewing). I call and ask if we can reschedule the viewing and the lady on the phone promise that the agent will call us back for a reschedule. I have been waiting since Thursday and today I call back to see if we can have a reschedule, the lady on the phone made it sound like its our fault that we missed the agent on Thursday and say to wait for the same agent to call us back. I am very very upset as they do not seem to care and now blaming me that I have missed the agent on Thursday. I am genuinely interested to rent a property from Taylors lettings as they are just around the corner from my workplace but I have been let down by the whole experience. I am just disappointed. If you are pasting your customer complaint email, just forget about it because I just dont see the point anymore.

Horrendous company. We rented a property via them. It was the worst time of our life. Problems kept arising but they were useless at getting them fixed. When we moved in we were without a cooker for 8 weeks. They blamed the landlord but as they are the property managers they needed to take part responsibility. In our time there we had a collapsing fence in the garden that never got fixed, no heating or hot water for 2 weeks forcing us to move out due to having a 3 week old baby! When we complained we were told we were impatient. We also had them slag us off by putting a note on the system calling us difficult.
I urge you to use other companies. As I was told multiple times they don't work for the person renting but for the landlord so they don't answer to us or have to help us they are on the landlords side!
Absolutely useless. No one had a back bone or seemed to have any clue what was going on.

As landlords we expect a professional and efficient service and that is what we received from the team at Taylors Lettings in Milton Keynes. Taylors Lettings had already identified quality tenants for our new properties who were able to move in, within a day or so after we completed the purchase. They also sourced a tenant for another of our properties two days after it went onto the market. Taylors Lettings have been really helpful and understanding from the first time I walked into their office. They really helped me out with several issues I was facing at the beginning of the lease such as being flexible on the period in which I fully covered my deposit.
Taylors Lettings have been there for us all along for any matters that came up regarding the property. They are professionals, friendly, nice, polite, prompt and easy going. It has always been a pleasure walking into the office, even just to say hello.
It was no coincident that the property's landlord is an exceptional gentleman who has fullfilled all our modification requests in the proeperty and has never bothered us with anything.
This has been a very pleasant, smooth and hassle free collaboration and experience. We just wish our next agent is just as good!

Not an honest experience!
We saw a property to purchase with Taylors before it was on the market; thought that was brilliant!
However they have been dilly dallying over a second viewing and finally we got to know the sellers were not interested!
When I confronted them they just did not have time for us.
Horrid experience!!
