My son has attended Monkey Puzzle since he joined Baby room in 2017 and he has recently started in Preschool this year. He has grown in so much confidence and has really benefited from the lovely activities and experiences they provide. To be honest, I wouldn’t have him anywhere else! He has made so many friends and loves coming to nursery every day. The owners and managers have high standards which has been reassuring for me. The staff are always friendly and caring.... I visited this nursery during an open day a few weeks back. I must say that im really surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. The nursery is stunning and its so clean and smells fresh. It is way better than some of the ones ive been to look at. Id say take a look at the nursery website and definitely go and visit. The management are so down to earth and friendly and come across as very professional. Our son will be starting in the baby room soon.... Read more

Alot of the reviews on here are fake. You can tell when you click on them, probably made by the owners who are in desprete need of good reviews because if you physically ask anyone who dealt with this nursery they would happily tell you the truth. I worked in Monkey Puzzle for 4 months. My initial thoughts of the nursery was all very positive. I loved the nursery and the owners seemed very much involved in everything. The more I was there the more I was left on my own dealing with angry parents on the phone about the nursery taking deposits but not given a start date. Eventually in time, the owners stopped answering my calls all together telling me how these weren't "urgent matters" and that they were dealing with alot more "important" matters. Alot of the time the nursery was under staffed, and children's welfare wasn't considered. During Christmas time 2018, all the staff that were employed there were all dismissed and not paid for their work there that month. We are still fighting but know that this fight will be unseen. I wouldn't recommend anyone send their child here or work here.... Read more

I wouldn’t recommend this nursery to anyone. Their staff turnover is shocking. Many times they were understaffed and was made just to get on with it. Many of the staff that worked there had the best of the children’s interest at heart but sadly the directors didn’t which really upsets me. Parents are not listened too and a considerable amount left, as they didn’t want their children not knowing who would be looking after their child. I really feel sorry for anyone who worked under these uncaring directors. Take my advice do not sent your child here.... Read more

Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery is amazing . I recommend it for any parents and carers looking for a place for their children. Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery has a great outdoor and indoor environments to nurture children's learning and development in all the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stages Curriculum. All the areas and the rooms of the nursery is safe for children to play, to learn and to develop. Staff are qualified and eager to learn new skills throughout CPD trainings. Children are well looked after by their Key person and all the other staff members of the nursery at all times. Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery in Mitch, are doing really well and are doing the best as possible to bring the nursery standards up to a higher level with their new staff team experiences and expertise's. Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Mitcham is truly a superb nursery school and there are various reasons why this is so. Firstly, a very secure and spacious room from babies room upstairs to downstairs toddlers and preschool room, which suits the wellbeing of all the children. Secondly, the garden has a lot to explore linking to all different areas of development, especially Physical development. Most of all, the new member of staffs worked together as a team and build good relationship with their key children, parents and the management who are very supportive. All new staffs capture the heart of the children with their warmth, friendliness, emotional support and love for the children, so much care is taken to play with them, direct them, teach them and make them feel so special. The support given to both parent and child is unbelievable. So Please IGNORE bad reviews and negativity. I would definitely recommend this nursery.... Read more

Great nursery, management team are amazing really supportive couldn’t ask for more, the children are lovely and the staff create a positive environment for the children and parents to walk into on a daily basis, lots of routine, fresh meals provided, great range of activities and regular sports sessions for toddlers&Pre-school age. Horrible management. The owners are very rude and aggressive especially towards staff and seem to try and intimidate them if they don't get there own way. They have tried to hide the fact that some children have had accidents I.e one child did not have there nappie changed all day and tried to hide this from the dad only for the dad to notice that his son had very sore skin due to this. This is a horrible nursery and would advise all parents to look elsewhere.... Read more

After giving me a dates and times for my child to attend, I turned up to be told (in front of my child) there was no space for them that day. They also e-mailed me a week before my child's last day to inform me that it would be his last day due to certain changes they have made in the nursery, leaving my child confused and upset. The nursery also offer a settling in period in which they tell you meals for your child will be provided free of charge and then send a bill to your e-mail. There have also been times I have been left waiting outside for 5 minutes when trying enter the building to collect my child.... Read more
