Selling our house was a long & frustrating journey, but Andrews Estate Agents were a significant force throughout, staying with us from beginning to end & helping us reach the outcome we were hoping for.<br><br>Safie deserves a special mention. The best way I can describe his role is with a Star Trek metaphor. Marcus was the captain—calm, knowledgeable & at the helm—but Safie was the First Officer. The captain sets the course, while the First Officer quietly works in the background, keeping everything moving, smoothing things over, negotiating, bringing people together & making sure the ship reaches its destination. Safie gave his utmost, & more, filling that role with energy, commitment & genuine care.<br><br>He genuinely cares about what he does & gave far more of himself than the job required. He became the bridge between everyone involved, & throughout the sale I always felt he was doing everything he could to move things forward.<br><br>If I had one small observation, it would be around communication. Safie is someone who works in the here & now. You're more likely to get a phone call than a detailed email, & when an email arrived it was usually short & to the point. I actually came to appreciate that because, when he had something to say, he picked up the phone & said it.<br><br>I would happily recommend Andrews Estate Agents to family & friends. I have just sold my property in Mitcham through Andrews- My main dealings were with Marcus Massiah (Mitcham) and Boyan Cojbasic (Morden based, I believe)<br>.I felt that the sale fees were fair, but had forgotten about the dreaded VAT! I was pleased with the quality of the sales information and photos used to promote my property. Viewings were extremely well organised with great communication and reminders provided.<br>Both Marcus and Boyan were great Ambassadors for the company- responding quickly to any queries and offering helpful advice. Safeer what a patient individual. This sale was not easy due to solicitors not communicating and delaying everything. He was stuck in the middle but has a patience of a saint. My fiancé and I just bought a house through Andrews Mitcham. Marcus and Saf were great to work with and helped us with all issues along the way. Even if they were busy, all their colleagues were always willing and happy to help! We went with their lawyers and mortgage advisor. The lawyers were not great at communicating however Marcus dealt with all problems promptly and helped speed up the process.<br><br>Ella, the mortgage advisor, is amazing! She is really patient and helpful. Terminated contract due to total inactivity by the agent.
Never experienced such poor customer service.
Unable to get hold of the agents for days in a row- felt like there was no proactive engagement to prospective buyers on the market and I had to do all of the pushing. Was doing my own job and theirs.
Eventually complained and was fobbed off with weak excuses that ignored all of the points I’d raised.

Quite possibly one of the most unprofessional and unethical Estate Agencies I have dealt with. I had made an offer on a property and was informed by the Estate Agent (Rightly or wrongly) that my bid was amongst the two highest and I was informed that the vendor was enquiring whether I would like the white goods. This led me to believe I was in a strong position and I asked to be kept up to date on a regular basis.The estate agent I was dealing with went on annual leave, I was not given any update over the next 48 hours and upon calling was informed my offer had been rejected. It was very obvious that given I was the buyer of the Estate Agent who had gone on holiday that the other agents were doing all they could to get their buyers bids over the line whilst mine fell by the wayside. Having spoken to the Manager of the branch, it came to light that the bidder who secured the property came back over the weekend with an improved offer. It led me to seriously question why they had come back with an improved offer and who could perhaps could have advised they do such a thing given best and final offers are sealed bids. I can only imagine they were advised to by their agent whilst my agent was on holiday. Having recently purchased a home through Goodfellows Mitcham, I can't speak highly enough of them and the difference in service I received was chalk and cheese. Furthermore, they act professionally and ethically, irrespective of whos buyer secures the property and who secures the commision.

Overall great service and experience. However, it would have been more helpful to have more marketing (sponsored listing, emails campaigns etc) especially in the first few weeks of the property being listed. In terms of viewings, we had some people who weren't properly informed of the property specs and seemed to be surprised at some aspects of the property. Apart from these areas of improvement, I would recommend Andrews to friends and family. They were much more proactive than some other estate agents we have dealt with.

I've had a really good experience with Andrews at Mitcham. Marcus gave a realistic valuation, and the staff were really helpful when arranging viewings etc. But equally - and almost more importantly - Jill, from "Sales Progression", has been amazing, competent, and calm at dealing with any issues along the way. I am so happy with the service provided by Andrews. After a bad experience with another estate agent, Andrews really went above and beyond! I completed on my property sale and subsequent purchase last week and couldn’t be happier. Special thanks to Arif, Marcus and Egypt for going above and beyond from start to finish. They was always available to update you whenever needed and chased other estate agents in the chain and the solicitors multiple times to push things forward whenever asked. I got a good price and a super quick sale. Even the guy who took the pictures done a brilliant job (much better than the previous agents I was with). Couldn’t recommend more. Thank you Andrews! I was really impressed by the levels of professionalism shown by the team as a whole, and the way they communicated with me was great.
