Horrendous estate agents. Rented a property through them. They promised I'd get the keys to the new place on a certain day. When I went to collect, they'd 'lost' the keys. At the time, I thought it was ok cus I still had 3 weeks on my old tenancy left. Well, it took 2 and a half weeks for Tempo to find the keys. This left me with 3 days to move a house worth of stuff. I had to take time off work at short notice to do the move, which I had to take unpaid - so I lost money. Tempo took my deposit and a months rent upfront. I asked for a partial refund as they'd 'lost' the keys so I couldn't move it. They said no because they said their records showed I had moved in - total bull! They wouldn't give me the landlords contact details to complain. I've since found out that the keys weren't 'Lost' but the manageress had taken the keys to her home after an inspection and left them at her house!! A former member of staff told me cus they were angry after being bullied while working there. The incompetance of the Manageress has left me out of pocket and almost left me homeless. EDIT: I can confirm that I am reviewing the correct Tempo Estate Agents, based in Freckleton, in Fylde. Annette, who has replied, is Manageress who took the keys to her home, despite claiming they were 'lost'. She was the one I would contact asking for constant updates. She was also the one who refused to refund me my 1st Months rent - I was only asking for a partial refund. This all happened 3 months ago. The property I rent is in Freckleton. I'd like to also share that Annette has called me to inform me that she will not renew my tenancy agreement at the end of the initial 6 month period unless I remove this review.... Read more

I paid for the marketing only option (i.e. I did the the viewings myself etc), however Tempo were still very prompt at forwarding me contact details for potential buyers etc. I would advise calling the office, rather than contacting via the website. Many Thanks.... Read more

Me and my partner have just starting renting a property through Tempo and we couldn’t be happier. The team are incredibly professional but also extremely friendly. As my partner is self-employed we have been let down by many other agencies who refused even a viewing of properties and felt we have had to jump through hoops for a young, hard working couple.
