Avoid. Most unethical agents so far in my life, they don't feel shame but yes they will hide from you, the person who is dealing with you you will find them in the office to take your calls but after tenancy ended, forget about it and forget your deposit. They deducted my deposit without consulting me. Out of 750 I got 133 only. I m going to take action on this.
But can you imagine how unethical and shameful is this practice. But that's what happened with us. This review is not from some family or friend I was their tenant and I will be very honest. Very welcoming and smiley before you sign the tenancy agreement and during tenancy they do regular inspection and no fault during tenancy but after you vacate the house, almost all deposit is taken from your hard earned money. Even the landlord used to come to our house and did some work as he was plumber. It was me and wife, only 2 people in 4 bedroom house and used only 2 rooms and they ripped us apart. I couldn't get hold of trudy and a man in his 50s I was told they were not in the office, neither I received any call back about my deposit. If you are reading it dear Dewhurst homes please return my hard earned money which you took without consulting me for nothing. Please as I'm still struggling with money.

Very bad service, have used entwistle green Lancaster for both letting my property and also renting an apartment from them. I can comfortably say they are the worst agent in the area with regards to customer service, never have solutions to any problems. So thing as small as a blocked toilet took over 3 months to send someone out after endless calls and emails. I actually know the family who moved in after me to the same apartment and they are having exactly the same issues. Would never use them again. Stay away.
The whole team were amazing, sold our property so fast, and we also bought through Farrell Heyworth Preston with great help and advice throughout also used the in branch mortgage broker and solicitors advised both great. Thanks for a great experience no stress at all.
I have never encountered service as relaxed as that offered by the Lettings division of Farrell Hayworth (FH). I rarely leave reviews online but was so disappointed by the time FH took dealing with my tenancy application that I wish to warn others who may need an application dealt with quickly: I paid an £150 fee for a reference check on the 15th August, and only now just signed a tenancy agreement to begin the 9th November (nearly 3 months). It took 2 weeks for FH to even send me the application form. Over the course of the tenancy application I had to call them on average 2-3 times a week for updates. They were very polite on the phone (would love to share a pint with Stuart), but they lack any sense of urgency and rarely call back on request (perhaps a fifth of my calls were returned). Please note that their agency fee is non-refundable.
Made a appointment to view a property in meads rd Ashton on Ribble . Which is on there website waited twenty minutes no one came .Rang up they said it's of the market. And no record of us making the appointment.even tho they had are details record .First and only time we had used them .Best to avoid
