I recently had a bad experience at an EA around the corner …However, I called in at Hunters and dealing with the professionalism knowledge and kindness that Lyndsey gave me was very special. She goes above and beyond to really help you .. I can’t recommend her or Hunters enough. This is what I call an estate agent.

28th Jun 2024 (29 days ago)Avoid at all costs. The properties are not inspected before new tennents move in, we moved into the house over a month ago now 14th May 24 and it has been confirmed by Faye when we visited the office the other week that it was last inspected August 23. There was damp in the spare bedroom which we were told would be sorted asap it took a month to arrange this to be addressed, when we moved in we found damp and fluffy mould in the kitchen which we reported and is still outstanding and a number of other repairs which have been outstanding since before we moved into the property which the agents and the landlord don't seem to have any intention of dealing with and have simply been removed from the outstanding repairs on our account - the damp in the spare roon being the only one that anything is finally being done about. It takes days for them to respond to emails and furthermore I sent a formal complaint about this to the assistant manager Caitlin over a month ago now - the complaints procedure states that you should get an acknowledgement within 3 working days, I sent this 24/5/24 it is now 27/6/24 and I have had no response to date. Do not rent with Martin & Co all you will get is stress and I will continue to let everyone I know know that this is the sort of experience they can expect if they do.

31st May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Incredible experience, definitely the best estate agents in Southport, so well supported by Anna, then Paige and the whole team. Right the way from the start to finish, compared to previous experiences with estate agents this was genuinely incredible, I'm not based in Southport so the sale was handled remotely, and it wasn't ever an issue, and i was always well informed. Karen Potter estate agents in truly one in a million ! Thanks again all.

She was incredibly efficient, friendly and helpful, and was the person throughout the whole process who made it as smooth as possible (despite the usual conveyancing niggles!). Really grateful for her support despite not even technically being her client!

He Allowed us to view the property and enabled us to picture how it could be our family home. We have viewed lots of houses over the past few weeks and this by far the easiest.

18th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)We recently used Moving Works for our house sale. We decided to go with them after seeing how much more effort they put into their customers house sale listings. Their presentation, photos/videos and detail are levels above the competition. It only got better as it went on. Our assigned agent Philippa was simply incredible from start to finish. She was so easy to get on with and when it came to the work, nothing was too much. She was proactive, responsive and knowledgeable about anything that we threw at her. 24 hours after our house was listed we got 7 viewings for the weekend and 24 hours after the viewings that Philippa did for us, we got 4 offers above asking price. The best decision we ever made with regards to our house, you really are in safe hands with Philippa and Moving Works. We highly recommend, 100% brilliant experience

First time buyers so a lot of this is really new to me and Mrs but Jacks and Harrison were great at replying to questions and providing reassurance. I like the offer that it's a lifetime service given by Connells so the one-time fee doesn't feel too bad Application has just been accepted so not much else to say but overall great - can't fault em! PS Didn't realise that lenders do so many checks - feel like I can do the Credas app in my sleep now lol

A difficult property to sell, nevertheless, you managed to get it over the line. We found yourself and your team to be professional and always friendly to deal with. In future we would have no hesitation in using CurtisLaw again- 30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Discriminatory Phoned up wanting to view a property only to be informed that as one of the prospective tenants was on benefits that a guarantor was required, irrespective of any other information ie age or rental history or even type of benefit. They tar all benefits claimants with the same brush. I understand the need for a guarantor but to require one based on one single criteria is discrimination.
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
