When are you going to refund the deposit? Your staff told us that the deposit should be refunded last month. Never trust this company! Everyone should totally avoid this company.
Update: David is so rude, you asked us to stop emailing you. We have to post here to get your response. You charged us almost £700 cleaning service fee to 1 little bedroom flat. Come on, you and landlord sharply increase rental rates and required to renovate the old bathroom when we were living there, you caused most problems. We rather donate £700 to charities and won’t pay even 1 penny to you!
Please stop making up stories, just refund our deposit, we don’t even want to see your name again…

Terrible company! Charged almost £700 cleaning services for 1 bed flat. When we moved into this old and broken flat, there was no professional cleaning service. We were happy to pay reasonable cleaning service for 1 bed flat. Now, we won’t accept the unreasonable charge. Landlord now must share the cleaning service cost because the old and broken 1 bed flat with cheap and dirty carpet never been professionally cleaned before we moved in. You can check your report and stop making up stories here.

Do not touch this man or his company with a barge pole: examples of his unprofessional behaviour include: no video or up to date floorplan on the advert; false photograph of a room; repeated requests to take down advert upon change of letting agent were ignored; offering a reduced rent to a prospective tenant without first consulting the Landlords and worst of all, sending offensive, libellous and defamatory emails to the Landlords.

One could just say that I've simply been very lucky with the quality of tenants I've had over the last few years... I would put it down to the professionalism and due diligence shown by David McGeachie at Tenant Finder. His responsive service and attention to detail, seldom seen in larger lettings agencies, has been first class and has taken the hassle and strain out of sourcing the right tenant. I would strongly recommend that he is your go-to guy for your next letting or rental, the results speak for themselves - but make sure you have your Scottish phrase book to hand ;)

David and his team have helped for several years now finding me tenants and always carried out an outstanding job, but this last project has been exceptional.
The likely tenant viewed my property on a Friday and wanted to move in on the Monday !!! The Tenant Finder team pulled out all the stops from the background checks, cleaners, electrician, gas safe certificate, inventory to check in service.
Unbelievable , absolutely brilliant ….can’t thank you enough.

Absolute disgrace! David is rude and very unprofessional! Wouldnt deal with this company again! He gave me a postcode and told me to be at the carpet shop! Stood at the carpet shop and waited. Turns out he was wrong and what he thought is a carpet shop is a curtain and blinds shop! Walked the 30 seconds down the road from where I was to meet him and rang to discuss this. Completely vile over the phone and rude! Then hung up on me, tried to ring to resolve he ignored my calls blocked my number and followed up with a number of rude txt! Extremely unprofessional and this is from the owner of the business. Shame cant uplod screenshots of his rude unprofessional pathetic text. Keyboard warrior who wouldnt pick up the phone. Avoid

My wife and I approached this Letting Agent (David) with the hope that he would find a tenant for our property. At first my wife was hesitant about this letting agency and in particular David in managing our flat; she drew parallels between himself and the serpent from the Book of Genesis from the Old Testament. In hindsight I wish I had listened to her instead of patronising her beliefs for this letting agent was responsible for almost casting us out of our own home. Correspondence was almost non-existent with the exception of when it was time to collect fees, tenant concerns were ignored, but the final straw that broke the camel’s back was when he had delayed payments for almost 3 months which almost led to the bank repossessing the flat. I caution anyone, either as a landlord or tenant, to stay far away from this place. It will only bring misery and despair - you would receive better treatment in Dante's Inferno.

I own this business. The an who said we never got back to him simply kept offering way below the listed rents so there was no point in getting back to him after a while. Our clients would rather we spent time getting back to people who might actually take the property. If you are selling a car for £1000 and someone keeps emailing you offering 700 you stop getting back to them.
The other complaint is strange to see as this is the first time I have seen any of this. He never ever spoke to me about any of this or contacted me in any way. Had he done so, I would have explained that 1: our job is to get the highest possible rent for the landlord for the best possible tenant. He accepted and agreed a rent and moved in, so can't really complain now that it was too high'. He also states that the landlord incurred 'extra costs?' I have no idea on earth what he means and the terms between the landlord and me would be nothing to do with him anyway.
I have then seen later moans. None of these people have contacted me; I have no idea who they are and one said we want a full month's rent even in the middle of a month. Yes and then your next rent date is in middle of the next month! Mr Einstein! Other ones - yes we do sometimes mention the minimum salary need to take a property. Endless people phone about properties and cannot afford them. Genuine tenants don't mind that. As for my being rude; why would I be rude to someone who might take a property and make me some money? I think 'rude' means 'asked me questions I didn't want to answer and refused me a viewing'. or 'I was fussy and the landlord chose someone else so I was angry and will call the agent names'. We grant people viewings; they are a not a right. I think my client landlords would be happy with this policy. We have to be firm sometimes and also people get unhappy about things we can do nothing about. eg we might day 'I'm sorry but your stated income means you will not pass our affordability check'. That night seem blunt but it's a lot better than wasting time on a viewing when we already know they can never have the property. Other agents offer a viewing to anybody as it makes them look busy.
I have never heard of John R or Anya. They are both welcome to contact me with their complaints. They chose not to do so through even though my face and name are all over our web site.
If someone has a genuine issue with the business I am happy for them to contact me and complain. If fact I would want them to do that. I am therefore dubious about moans on here from people who don't even leave their names. Could be anybody. I am never rude to anyone who isn't rude to me first.

Worst experience of an estate agent ever! Would avoid at all costs if I had to do it again. David (the owner) is extremely rude and talks to you like you are far below him all the time. Beware if you move in half way through a month they will still charge you for a full months rent! Avoid at all costs

Any problems with the appliances etc, were resolved on the same day and the end of tenancy process couldn't have been simpler. I would not hesitate to recommend Tenant Finder to anyone looking to rent a property.

We moved overseas in 2011 and were left with the choice of having our house managed by a larger agency or Tenant Finder. We didn't want to be lost in the mix of a large agency and so went with Tenant Finder due to the personalised nature of the service and competitive rates. Being on the other side of the world required us to have someone managing our property who we could trust and who would use their initiative to resolve issues quickly for the benefit of both us and the tenant without waiting for us to respond.
Tenant Finder has been brilliant and David has helped us manage a number of issues quickly, including helping me solve some things completely unrelated to the house. In over 4 years of having David manage the property, we havent had a single day without the house being let. For prospective landlords, I can't recommend the service highly enough.

How dare he make some financial accusation such as that on behalf of someone else...! His landlord hired us only to find a tenant therefore once he moved into the flat, her direct contact was the landlord. We don't manage this ongoing tenancy but are of course always happy to discuss any concerns tenants have, whether we are managing or not. This would have been made clear. Everything was done completely properly with this Let. I will contact him now anyway to see if there is anything we can do and to find out what he is unhappy about. I have to mention here that I did tell his landlord that after this Let that I did not want to act for her any more in future and so I feel that has affected things at that property. I'm glad that they posted this review though as I have had a chance to contact them now and straighten things out. I think my side of the story may surprise the tenant.

I was advised to look at a property which was way above my budget (ironic having read the last review and response). Having seen it and liked it, I then made an offer within my price range and as discussed prior to seeing the property. I was told it was too low.
Conn did manage to negotiate for both parties with an agreed amount.
As I was very keen on the property I decided to pay the full deposit and rent in advance. Once this happened then that was pretty much it, I was left in the lurch - no more phone calls, no contract - nothing! I spoke to the landlord who is very good , but she did not realise I have a very young daughter. One of the things I specified to Tenant Finder was that it had to accommodate for my 5yr old autistic daughter. This was not relayed onto the landlord and when there was a problem there was no response from Tenant Finder. They already took my money and I would have had nowhere to live. Fortunately I was able to talk to my landlord who was very reasonable about the whole situation with me.
I was extremely disappointed and felt let down by Tenant Finder for just dropping me once I had given them several thousand pounds of my money! I still have not heard from them or seen ANY paper work from them. Would be interested in hearing a response!
