Disappointing, after moving in found out that there wouldn't be gates to the development. I was told that planning wasn't permitted however Surrey planning online says that it has. As well as having a gas leak from the hob in the kitchen since I moved in October until February. They blamed the hob manufacturer but in fact it was both the gas fitting as well as the hob. The garden was turfed over rubble which means that the lawn is uneven and swelchy in most places and will require complete removal and relaying (once said rubble is removed). They development is a nice place but it's a shame that things were missed or corners were cut.... Read more

I’m sorry to say that Thakeham have not delivered on what we were ‘sold’. Post deposit being paid we were informed that our development would no longer be gated, one of the key factors that attracted us to this development over the neighbouring development. In addition we were lied to about the level of dispute with a neighbour who now parks his HGV and his multiple cars in our Developments entrance. Thakeham have completely washed their hands in relation to this issue. The customer care team are extremely slow at attempting to resolve issues with very poor communication, ie promising to call back or pass on information with said information disappearing into a black hole by all accounts. A real shame as the development is lovely and unique but I would not recommend them given the issues listed above.... Read more

Homeowners left with a bitter taste after buying at this development. Initially sales promised things they were never completed. For instance a gate at the entrance of the development which was one of the selling points. Another one the design of the main bathroom from the showroom which had different features to the one delivered but never made us aware of this change Very slow at responding, especially when you have an issue. Once they have the money secured they forget about customer service.... Read more
