I would like to say a big thanks to Tracy in particular who has been amazing - emailing weekly to check in, keeping us updated and chasing things up where needed. 1st Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We are so glad we instructed Bourne estate agents. Initially we had another agent in mind, however, Bourne were able to offer a real bespoke service and gave us a clear, honest and professional pathway. From advertising to sales tactics, they were able to maximise our viewings and were present and looking impeccable during. We had so many offers! More then we expected, and Bourne were able to advise on the viability of the offers based on strict buyer vetting, quickly helping us accept the best offer. They were attentive when chasing solicitors and buyer, weekly calls for updates, always picked up the phone when I called and remained positive and reassuring, very helpful when dealing with the stress of selling. Now we have sold and moving on it’s a bitter sweet feeling, selling the home we love, but thanks to Bourne, we are getting a great offer and they also could see the great features of our home and importantly the great things about the area, relaying that to the buyer. On a final note, I want to specifically thank Andy for his dynamic personality and assertive leadership, this was the pull to choosing the Team, and to Shaun, the suit of the operation, so unbelievably well spoken and articulate, he made us feel so confident throughout the process and really looked out for our interests. We actually feel a bit sad that our journey with Bourne has come to a close, we always had a laugh and banter when we chatted for updates, the team just give off this happy and motivated energy, a testament to good leadership and work balance, this definitely reflects in their work. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

Being new to the country, I was unfamiliar with the rules and requirements for securing accommodation, but Lilly from Foxtons Guildford was an absolute lifesaver. She went above and beyond her job description—she actually met me at the train station and drove me to several different viewings, which was incredibly helpful as I was still finding my way around. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and found the perfect home for me. As English is not my first language, I was worried about the complicated paperwork, but Lilly was so patient. She explained everything in very simple, clear terms so I felt confident in every decision. Even after the deal was closed with the landlord, she has stayed in touch to make sure I am settled. Our initial appointment with David set the tone which was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in understanding our needs rather than just making a sale. He explained everything clearly and gave us confidence that we were in capable hands. As the process moved forward, Joel handled the negotiation of the sale brilliantly. His approach was calm, strategic, and transparent, ensuring we felt informed and supported throughout. We always felt that he had our best interests at heart, and his communication during negotiations made what can often be a stressful stage feel far more manageable. Akeel kept us regularly updated, which made a huge difference. The consistent communication meant we were never left wondering what was happening, and any questions we had were answered promptly and professionally. That level of responsiveness really helped reduce the usual anxieties that come with buying or selling property. Andrew is currently overseeing the sale progression, and even at this stage, his attention to detail and proactive approach have been outstanding. It’s reassuring to know that the final steps are being handled so carefully and efficiently. Overall, I can honestly say the whole team has been amazing and an absolute pleasure to deal with. 12th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)??????? Do not waste your time with this agency??????? I had a very disappointing experience. I called three separate times to arrange a viewing for a property, and each time I was told that a colleague would contact me shortly—but no one ever did. On my last call, I clearly explained that I had already contacted you twice before and received the same response without any follow-up. The representative assured me she would pass my details to the sales team and that someone would contact me, but unfortunately, that still didn’t happen. This lack of communication is very frustrating and unprofessional.

Sam Duquemin at MU has gone the extra mile for me to find me the specific deals I needed where others have failed. Nothing has been too much trouble for him. Outstanding service - highly recommended.
1st Dec 2025 (22 weeks ago)Credit where it's due. Despite a slow market, Serena never gave up helping us try to find somewhere, even when I was calling 3 times a day. There's a reason why most homes in this area are sold through Seymour's.
18th Apr 2026 (16 days ago)Satvinder was very helpful in trying to get viewers to buy my property. He communicated well and kept me informed. Can't fault him. He found a buyer for us, unfortunately they didn't have enough deposit to secure the offer and they had to pull out. He then managed to get more viewings. The Iranian was broke out and house price fell and it became a buyer's market, unlucky for us. I think Satvinder was lovely and helpful and will be a good negotiator when provided with more training and support. I hope this review helps, as it is meant in good faith and good spirit and I am grateful for the efforts Chancellors gave.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
10th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)We recently purchased a house marketed through Newton Rowe and though it wasn’t the smoothest of transactions with our buyers disappearing mid-transaction (whilst we were on the market with a different estate agency), Sarah was incredible to deal with. She went above and beyond to ensure the chain stayed in tact, kept all parties constantly informed and followed up diligently until the transaction was complete. There were times when we really didn’t think it would happen but Sarah made it happen! She really offers a personal touch and is an incredible human being. You really get the sense of pride she takes in her work and in actually bringing joy to her clients. She genuinely cares and it shows! I would never think of looking elsewhere and will always recommend Sarah to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. Super grateful for everything you’ve done for us!

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

What he achieved was beyond what was expected, and he made the whole process a lot easier than it might otherwise have been. A star all round.
9th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)James happened to call me when our sale went stale on the market with minimal interest and consistently last minute let downs from the agents we were previously up with. He came round and discussed potential options without being pushy and just generally offering advice. After changing from a different estate agents to Stirling Ackroyed it was a completely different experience, James and Noah were very good at communicating and we sold very quickly with the help of them. A few hiccups post offer acceptance beyond James and Noah’s control but always easily contactable and friendly. Thank you!
