We live in a building next to which there are two pubs. We have no tranquility, security, respect. In this pandemic moment, we feared that after the reopening of the pubs our health would be at risk. That's how it is being. People from the street and the pubs enter the building to use drugs, urinate, drink, disturb our peace (people who work and wake up at 4 am for that). A week ago two couples entered the building and used cocaine in front of everyone without worries, yesterday two strange men came in and looked out the windows and the hootananny. (he seemed to be expecting someone), but this man had a backpack and looked like he was drunk. Residents are tired of asking for ccv, light in the parking lot, taller entrance gates with a security code, signage at the gates identifying the building as residential. I would like to know why we have to be exposed to the covid and its variants through strange drug addicts who enter the building? Do we deserve respect? The security guards at the pubs are tired of saying that the security of the building is the responsibility of the metropolitan. We urgently request security and protection measures for residents.... Firstly they do not respond to my request to submit service charge breakdown & receipts for months; then sent a bunch irrelevant documents (seeing those docs made me think they're assuming that people are clueless of finances(?) ). Absolutely useless! I'm autistic and socially housed by them and have been on the brunt of malicious complaints by another resident trying to stop me from using the communal garden. It turns out Metropolitan Thames Valley have nothing in their procedure for malicious complaints (useless). I've been forced to go to my local MP now for resolution for this issue and feel I have been bullied and harassed by them now for 12 months because of this. I can only speak for my experience dealing with them. They take no responsibility at every turn. They show little to no interest in serving their residence and are very disorganised and bueracratic. They have an inability to manage simple repairs to serve their residence. They do not take responsibility for the poor contractors they hire and show a general lack of ability to solve simple problems. Very disappointing, considering how much service charge we all pay.... I honestly cannot believe the 1 star reviews people are leaving as my experience has been fantastic, i was on the council waiting list in Slough and never got offered any help, i phoned TVHA as i am starting a new care role and within 2 days was moving in , i really think people should be more grateful as in my situation i was renting a room in a 6 bed house living with very bad people who were on serious drugs and being woken at 3am ,anyway i am very grateful for the Flat , TVHA did more for me in 2 days than the council have done in a year.... If I could score them worse I would. I brought a flat using shared ownership, and although I love it, MTVH are just the worst company possible in when it comes to anything being wrong. I have called, emailed, logged online problems and I receive NOTHING back. Even after logging an official complaint I have received no response from them. I have chased and chased and chased over numerous issues, from my dishwasher not being connected to the water supply (this took 6 months to get anywhere), from my rent and service charges not being set up (to this day they still haven't added my rent on), my washing machine stopped working 2 months ago (still waiting for someone to come out), my intercom system was connected to the main system (still haven't had any response from them as to how they will resolve it which is a massive safety issue). Have no respect for tenants and would prefer to see estates become run down, great housing but poor support of tenants. I've been so dissalusioned with the management that I just do not see the point in them, a relatively new estate mixed with private housing but the way things are deteriorating the owners of the private areas will be moving away at speed. I really don't understand why on earth that you would create an ideal place to live only to let it become run down in a few years. If I could negatively star MTVH I would, they don't even deserve the one I have had to give in order to leave this review. Absolutely poor service and just a constant battle between themselves and Barratts London over who to blame for what. Poor communications, their employees don't hang around long enough to see anything through so if you start communications with them be sure to ask who to follow up with. I've been a shared ownership lease holder for over 25 years and standards of customer care has dropped considerably ! Last week I spent two hours trying to get through to get through to the sales team , only to discover today that they had changed their number and not informed the main switch board. I am not impressed with the surveyor they recommended to value my flat and was informed by the sales team today that they cannot get involved with my genuine concerns. Great service - not!!! Not very good on dealing with complaints, was told it was my word against a heating services guy. What happened was surpose to have a service on my gas, but the driver didn't knock on the door, just took a photo of the front door, and stuck a card in the letter box, didn't even put it through the letter box, stuck it just in the outside, I phoned to complain, was told nothing could be done about it. Oh! It seems my negative review of MTVHA of roughly six months ago has been deleted from google reviews.
I presume then, that MTVHA has made some kind of complaint to google about my review, for which I have received no communication from google regarding the complainants issue, which should be standard procedure to resolve disputes.
So I now repeat my original complaint: with new info that has come about since my original complaint.
I live in Long Eaton NG10 4PT. There is a serious problem next door to me regarding the dealing of crack and heroin. I have made numerous complaints to my housing officer Sanjita Soni, over the years about this issue, but she has just said, words to the effect of "there is nothing we can do and we have passed all your info on to Derbyshire Constabulary".
This has been going on since 2004 when I first moved in here. And still nobody is doing anything, not Metropolitan or Derbyshire Constabulary.
Have also contacted my local MP for Erewash, Maggie Throup to see if she could get something some thing done about this situation. She (they) contacted MTVHA chief executive Geeta Nanda, on my behalf. Her response was, typed on a plain piece of paper without any MTVHA headings or logos, words to the effect of, "we can not take any action until a successful criminal prosecution has been brought against the alleged perpetrator" and that "Mr. Jones evidence, is not robust enough to secure a prosecution against the alleged perpetrator"
On another occasion I was informed by my housing officer, Sanjita Soni, that "Metropolitan has offered to carry out joint working with Derbyshire Constabulary, but Derbyshire Constabulary have declined to accept Metropolitan's offer".
I checked this by contacting DC. They informed me that they had no knowledge of being asked by MTVHA to carry out joint working relating to this matter.
So that's it then. No action is being taken. Not by MTVHA or DC.
New Info:
A few weeks later, after my original complaint (which seems to have been mysteriously deleted from google reviews) I had cause to make several more complaints to MTVHA, some of which were relating to the drug dealing as described above, and to a couple of incidents where my black bin was overturned by a mysterious person, and my refuse scattered in the street. I reported these incidents as complaints to MTVHA.
In the past when I have had cause to contact MTVHA with complaints or otherwise, I have always received a response within a few days. It has now been roughly 3 months since I made this particular set of complaints...and I still have not received a response.

Possibly the worst company I have ever come across. 99% of their staff are grossly incompetent. Takes forever to get a response from someone over issues and when you do it doesn't provide anything meaningful. I decided that I couldn't deal with their lack of professionalism anymore and sold my shared ownership flat (for a loss). This has been the worse experience. Dont know why we are charged a repairs charge on our rent accounts and why the team at tvha feel it's ok to send unqualified repair men to fix repairs which cause more damage to the home and tenants living their. Been left with no fire alarms,leaks,floods,doors hung upside down, than re hung with the wrong size door hinges sticking out, kids have injured themself. Etc etc. The list goes on. Totally unprofessional. Whatever you do,dont waste time reporting this to Asif as he fails to attend appointments and meetings he has arranged himself, he wont answer calls close to 4pm, doesn't follow anything he says he will, than when your angry with the way he treats you. I encourage absolutely anyone who has Colin Wilson as their housing officer and has to put up with his nasty, arrogant, aggressive or intimidate behaviour, or his unprofessional attitude like we have had to to put in a formal complaint against this man as I have my local neighbours who also have had issues with him.
This man should not be allowed near people never mind be a housing officer. Nasty, vindictive man! I bet TVHA, sorry metropolitan try and sweep complaints under the carpet though! I have been a tenant now for four years and although I am extremely grateful to have been housed, after having been on the waiting list for 10 years.
My issue is, which I notice has been mentioned in other reviews are the contractors. The choice of contractors. My boiler packed up over a week ago . Phoned in to report as is the normal procedure. BSW, sent someone within 24hours, only for them to turn on the override switch,which meant that within two days I was back to square one. This happened again, they came within the time allocated only to turn up all the dials then leave. Needless to say, I am sitting in my bed with an electric blanket waiting for BSW to turn up again.
This happened to me before three years ago, then I went three months without running hot water or heating. It was BSW then! Why and how is this allowed to happen?
When I asked for an electric shower to be installed, the answer was negative.
Do I have any rights as a tenant, or should I just be grateful that I have a roof over my head?... Read more

They offer training for their tenants and help finding work, which I found impressive. I think contractors sometimes charge them for work done when they don't bother doing it - this is one area where they could improve.... Read more

I never did get an apology from him (even though he admitted to what he had said). Just excuses from Claire Quennell stating how Greg is a valued member of staff. I guess that warrants him to make discriminative comments then?
For 2 years tvha allowed a mentally deranged neighbour to harass and verbally abuse me at every chance she got, but wasn't interested in trying to help the situation. They couldn't care less about anti-social behaviour from their tenants which is why I went to the police for help, and they were great who issued the neighbour with a PIN. I was even accused by the 'delightful' Claire Quennell of being dishonest, and that the diary sheets I was keeping at the time were deemed useless as I could be making them up (the police weren't impressed with her comment at all, and told me to continue the diary sheets). She also made derogatory comments about my partner and his mental health issues. We also requested a recording of a phone call claire had made, which we heard her say how my partner isn't a very nice person, and laughing whilst saying it. She doesn't know him at all, so to make that comment and judgement is unfair and completely unprofessional. She is a very patronising, insulting woman.
3 months after I have left tvh, I am now receiving calls demanding money from me for apparent unpaid rent. I have a letter infront of me from tvh stating I don't owe any money. This is yet another example of their incompetence.
I couldn't be more happier that I have left this useless, dishonest, housing association. My new housing association are friendly, helpful and professional which puts tvha to shame.... Read more

I moved into a flat in 2016 and was told an air purifyer would keep the place cool as i am ground floor no windows only doors. 2 years on and 2 years of complaints my flat is still 28 -34 degrees at night. TVHA dont believe in duty of care they believe that an email stating we are looking into it is enough. 2 years later myself and my neighbours all wish we were in our old places as nothing compares to rhis living hell.
And to think i have to pay 800pm for the priveledge. They never mentioned all the hidden costs in the flat either such as paying for hot water separately by a scheme with extortionate standing charge on top of a 50pm for thames water. I am trykng to exchange out of here but no one wants the rent then when they cisit they dont want the heat! One star is being very generous... Read more

Today it is the twelfth of July 2017 and apparently the whole business is closed for 'staff training'. Unacceptable, I have a serious issue with my accommodation at the moment, some random resident has been leaving black sacks of rubbish outside my flat. This morning as I left for work I nearly tripped over such a sack, before I moved it to the middle of the hallway, then after returning home today the sack had been placed back outside my door. This is extremely weird behavior (potentially dangerous too) and speaking to someone from 'the repairs hotline' obviously isn't going to do any good (is it?) She doesn't know him at all, so to make that comment and judgement is unfair and completely unprofessional. She is a very patronising, insulting woman.
3 months after I have left tvh, I am now receiving calls demanding money from me for apparent unpaid rent. I have a letter infront of me from tvh stating I don't owe any money. This is yet another example of their incompetence.

More interested in trivial issues such as hounding good honest hard working people because they have a dog, but yet won't do anything about acts of criminality like drug dealers / takers and people fighting in the estate, hoards of gangs roaming around on bikes etc.
